One nice touch: on the bar, a big bowl of fresh chopped green onions to sprinkle on soup or other dishes--Ichiban's deep-fried shrimp is my #1 and gets a whack of those onions. Mostly canned. Ice cream in dixie cups. And regrettably commercial chocolate pudding. But then, we don't go to these places for dessert, do we? Here's one thing that needs to be remedied forthwith...Servers issue one big paper napkin to start, and bring lots of smaller diner-style serviettes on request. Good so far.
