I found it weird that another lady serving food was wearing yoga shorts. They were playing music pretty loud. There was rap music with all the curse words. Personally it doesn't bother me but if you have young kids, I would not bring them. I'm not sure the vibe they are going for. It's Japanese food but rap music playing and yoga pants wearing workers. Didn't expect to walk into that but I'd go back again. Food was very good. I did not like how they do the bill. If you look at the bill it says there is a 12% surcharge. That "surcharge" is actually a tip. Then why not call it a tip? To me that's being very sneaky. Makes me wonder how many people have not realized that and then tipped on top of that? I did leave more tip because 12% is ridiculous. It should at least be 20% unless service was bad. I do think calling it a "service charge" is sneaky bad business.

After taking a minute to look over the menu, I decided to go with the AYCE Hotpot dinner. I ordered spicy soup with squid, crab stick, lamb, sirloin, bamboo shoot, bok choy, enoki mushrooms and ramen noodles. It was a lot of food, but I was starving and I ate most of it. They do charge for food waste so be mindful of that. Overall, it was very good and a nice experience. Price is reasonable. I will most definitely be back. Maybe I'll try the BBQ next time.

The korokke was so-so, and the sauce on it didn't really work for me. The Nagoya Memories ramen came in a generous portion, and to be fair, it wasn't too bad. The flavor itself was okay, but the broth was quite oily for me. It also didn't feel authentic or taste like Japanese ramen. The noodles had a texture more like Chinese thin noodles, and the broth tasted more like a Chinese-style noodle soup. Overall, not a bad meal, but as Japanese food and ramen lovers, the flavors just didn't quite match what we were expecting.
