I didnt realize that this location of Sushi Kingdom and the Juicy Crab were one restaurant. Very spacious inside so seating isnt an issue. They havw both booths and bar seating. We decided to do seafood boils today. All you have to do is notify server that you want juicy crab menu. I think this is a really good setup. Service is great, the food was delicious and overall a great experience. read more

All You Can Eat Dinner is a great way to try new foods. I really like their deep fried rolls and red bean ice cream. We ordered in rounds instead of all at once just so we weren' creating a lot of food waste. It's right off Park and super open inside. Service was super quick, and we were wrapped up in nearly an hour. Great place! read more

The food is fresh, delish and plentiful. Items are brought out as the chef completes them so keep that in mind. They give you a menu and a marker that you use to select the items you want and the quantity you want. It's about $30 per person. I sometimes forget that my eyes are bigger than my stomach but the additional charge for unfinished food kept that in check (they do allow you to bring that food home but if you live far away like I do, that's not ideal). The service was friendly and fast but the restaurant was far from busy on a Sunday afternoon. The bathrooms were clean and the restaurant was spacious and clean. I would absolutely recommend this place and plan to return. read more

This is a very well thought out place that gives you the ayce experience at a very reasonable price ($28). No up charging, The desserts were a welcome surprise. Tempura cheesecake and tempura Oreos. Don't sleep on these. They are worth it. read more

Very unpleasant situation. I visit this place very often and have brought many friends here. I really like everything about it. The problem is that there are two different menus, and one of them is only served inside the restaurant. I specifically came to the restaurant and said that I was willing to pay -- I just wanted a particular item because I really like it. They told me it was "not possible" because the service was unavailable, even though they could clearly provide what the customer wants -- and I am the customer. I told them I was ready to pay and asked them to simply tell me the price. The manager was unwilling to have a normal conversation, communicated very rudely, and made the whole experience very unpleasant. I would advise the owner of this establishment to pay attention to situations like this and find a better way to handle them. It's such a nice place, but experiences like this really ruin the mood and make people not want to come back. read more

I've come here more times than I'd like to admit. For the amount of food you get it's a great price. The pineapple fried rice is extremely good with their shrimp and chicken (pro tip get the meat/shrimp and rice separately it's much better that way). A good variety of sushi and appetizers that out down like crazy. Extremely clean restaurant with comfortable seating. All the servers have been great as well. I highly recommend it. read more

I usually meet my husband here during his lunch break. It's a convenient spot and we've never had to wait for a table. The place is nice and welcoming. The staff have always been friendly and attentive. Most of the food we've gotten has been pretty good. Fresh ingredients, which is a must with sushi. My favorite is always the rainbow roll. This most recent time we got the Valentine roll (because we visited on Valentine's Day) and the Tokyo roll. Both were good, but the valentines roll was in the shape of a heart. I wish I had gotten a better picture of it. This place has one of my favorite cheese wontons and gyozas. Hibachi is nothing to brag about. The fried rice is kind of plain. Edamame is nicely cooked. We did try a fried banana and that was the worse food we've had there. The batter was plain as could be and someone it took the banana flavor away so it was just so bland. Also, in case you aren't aware, they charge for food not eaten. So even though it's all you can eat, order a little bit at a time. You can always order more during your visit. I do highly recommend dining here and trying everything for yourself! read more

I did use the a la carte menu and was lucky to get the best dish, the Unagi Donburi with Shrimp Tempura side. It comes with a miso soup also. Though the unadon is not served on a bowl, but rather on a plate. The unagi and rice is spot on with the Kabayaki sauce, freshly prepared, complimented with some mango cubes, sliced veggies, wasabi & pickled ginger. The tempura side had 2 pieces of shrimp plus assorted veggies but it was more like kushikatsu. Will probably return to try the AYCE menu. Service is good, space is nice, and you can see the chefs making dishes as you ordered. read more

The sushi is fresh and delicious. I love Sushi and this great deal for when I am in a craving for sushi.

I'm not a sushi fan. But they converted me. Every thing is freshly made and I appreciate that. Staff is attentive and accurate.

Fresh and good quality sushi each time we ordered. It definitely is pricey but well worth it. Our server was very nice although she could've been more attentive it was still a great experience. The restaurant is beautifully decorated and clean. read more

I had heard good things from one of my friends & decided to try it for lunch one day when I was in the area. Compared to another similar style place, it was underwhelming. The place was empty but for some reason I waited about 20 minutes before the waitress finally made it over to me. The options were limited in comparison & what I did have was ok. read more

I had a pleasant experience at sushi kingdom. I went just before lunch ended so it was fairly quiet and empty. I'm really glad I was able to go during the lunch hours because there's no way I'd eat enough for the dinner price. The server was nice and very gracious in explaining to me how the ordering worked even though you are provided with written instructions. Big note: you will be charged extra if you do not finish what you ordered. read more

Calling all sushi lovers!!! Sushi Kingdom is an all you can eat sushi restaurant. No, it is not a buffet. When you walk in you are greeted at the door and seated. When you sit down you receive the menu and it explains how it works. You can order unlimited sushi and hibachi. They do charge 50 cent to $ 1.00 surcharges for each piece of leftovers so please be mindful. You can take the leftovers home too. I do love that some of the funds are donated to the No Kids Hungry Organization. I ordered the following 1. Crab Rangoons 2. Gyoza 3. Smoked salmon 4.LSU Roll 5. Memphis Roll 6. Tokyo Roll 7. Snow Crab Roll 8. Shrimp fried rice This was a lot of food but I enjoyed everything that I ordered. I will be going back but on a emptier stomach. The restaurant is spacious and very quiet. read more

Sushi was ok. Just the basic rolls you can get at every sushi place. Open environment. Service was great.

Fresh! Delicious! Fresh made to order! Clean! Spacious! Comfortable! Good service! Great deal!

Really pissed me off because she couldn't change my order because I already paid for it. I should have declined and told them to refund me. My money avocado was dark so that meant that it's been sitting out and they wanted to hurry up and get rid of it but they'll never get another dime from me ever in life. Worst sushi place ever. Nothing but a scam read more

Walked in with a group of 4 and were seated immediately. We were a bit confused on the process and we never got it explained, but the waitstaff was friendly. They are definitely working out kinks. We saw multiple food/beverage spills by the staff. Now for the sushi. For AYCE sushi it was pretty dang good. You can get 15 pieces of nigiri/sashimi per person before having to pay per piece. Overall the food was very good for the price point. They came back many times to see if we wanted to order more. Bad parts: the service, while friendly, didn't understand the menu very well. This should improve with time. No one explained the process to us. And they don't sell alcohol. Hopefully that changes too. read more

First, let me say that I would have given this place 4 stars, but it is a bit pricey. The restaurant was clean and the waitress was attentive (though the language barrier made it difficult to communicate). They have an all-you-can-eat menu. It costs about $29 per person with an additional charge for food wasted or not eaten. We opted out of that and chose to order from their traditional menu. I still went over my budget, but was able to bring home leftovers. I would not have been able to do that if I'd ordered from the all-you-can-eat. read more

I've been wanting to try this place for a while. I came for lunch with my sister. You order what you wish by marking off your selections on their menu. They are so lovely, and the food came out quickly. It's $18.95 a person, and it's all you can eat. It's a good value if you want sushi and some apps. I ordered the shrimp tempura twice because I love shrimp tempura. The plates are small and shareable, which is nice. I was pretty full after this, and I'll have to come back and try their seaweed salad. read more

Got the all you can eat special. Rolls were fresh and tasty. Presentation was beautiful. I did come on the weekend at lunch time so it was pretty empty. Service was great, attentive and friendly. new building, open and inviting. beautiful wooden bar, nice wooden/leather booths. simple yet cute decor. It's all you can eat, but not like your thinking.. you actually order your selections and everything is brought to your table. None of that cold n hot steamers, lines with people picking over food.. Its alot of stuff on the menu n I liked everything we tried, except for the fried banana.. Definitely returning n I do recommend. They have lunch n dinner, dinner is 28.00 per person. I stopped takin pics n was too busy eating and chatting with best friend read more

A friend with a very large appetite invited us here. As it happens, my husband also eats a great quantity of food, and this is definitely the place for that! I was very skeptical of the all-you-can eat for $28.95, but they deliver what they promise. Thankfully, this is not a buffet, but everything on the large menu is made fresh, per your order. Some of the items are petite portions, so easy to eat a wide variety of. The quality is really not bad. My favorite thing I ate was the Hollywood roll. I would 100% eat that again. The service is very friendly and accommodating, but this is no date night restaurant. The interior is large and spartan. It was clearly built for quantity, not ambiance. It's worth a visit if you are really hungry for decent sushi. read more

We had really high hopes for this place. Sushi Kingdom is not the right name for this place in my opinion. I've eaten at several sushi/Japanese restaurants in the city so my expectations/standards are pretty high. The sushi roll was okay. The LSU roll with soybean paper. Definitely have had better at Red Koi, Tokyo Grill to name a couple. As far as Hibachi, again after having authentic Hibachi, ie, Benihana and Nagasaki Inn, this place is not it. It's served with some kind is teriyaki sauce and the vegetables are not the standard onions, mushrooms and zucchini/squash mix with a side of Yum-Yum or Ginger sauce. Looks nice but different than expected and tasted differently than want "I" wanted. I was told this is "how they prepare it." Try at your own risk but know you've been warned!! Oh the sweet tea, not so much. Now our waitress was a doll, Kai. It was her first day and she handled everything very professionally. She was so willing to help make it right. We settled on spring rolls, gyoza and crab Rangoon, can't go wrong with those right?!?! Location: basically a big square room sectioned into tables. No bar area, very basic like a "All you can eat buffet" ambience but no buffet. read more

I went there for the all you can eat lunch, and it was fantastic. I started with Miso Soup, Goyza, Vegetable Tempura, and Shrimp Tempura. We had Eel Nigiri, a Philadelphia Roll, a Memphis Roll and another roll that I can't remember the name of, but it was spectacular. Service was delightful and efficient. The restaurant was nice. All in all, it was really good, and I am definitely going back. I highly recommend this restaurant. It was so nice having the food come out fresh and be able to share. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere!

Eat here often. I go about once a week and enjoy a lunch when my schedule allows me. If you are a big sushi eater you have to dine here.

Be advised if ordering delivery: Very small portions. Sushi rolls are half the size of most other sushi restaurants.

Definitely recommend! Some of the best sushi I've had personally, which is awesome especially for an AYCE place. Really great value for all of the options they have. Super fast and friendly service, and good modern but casual atmosphere. Would absolutely eat here again read more

Went to lunch to try this place and it was a good choice ! First tip READ THE RULES ! The rules are on the table and stays on the table while dining . I love this THEY BRING YOU THE FOOD ! There is no line for a buffet or bumping into people or touching the same serving utensils . You simply check the box on the menu and it comes out to you ! Needless to say I ordered too much ! Everything was delicious and healthy portions !!! Too much food lol . Again reading the rules helps !!! Spacious , clean and nice staff . Not sure if they all have a language barrier . But my waiter 's English was a little challenging for him . But we survived ! read more

We enjoyed the ambiance of clean interior and quiet. The service was quick, and the food was fresh. I really like the fact that for four people with hibachi and sushi, the price was reasonable. I really was excited about the vegetable udon option for a vegan. Just remember to order without dairy and egg. They bag your food in separate bags if it's a large order, which makes for easy distribution. read more

Ordered bento box lunch to go. I chose vegetable tempura as my "main" and it was 6 hearty pieces for vegetables (onion, brocolli, sweet potato, and a root veggie I cant name at the moment), freshly fried in a slightly seeet tempura batter; Fried rice was rice and egg; I believe 4 gyoza, and 4 Cali rolls. Oh and a pretty big container of soup. Came with a side container of creamy sauce, but no container of the soy based sauce...it was just poured in the container underneath the gyoza. Overall, food was fresh and tasty and plentiful for the price. read more

We did the ayce dinner option and it was pretty decent considering how we don't have one in Memphis. So, I recently went to Sushi Kingdom, and I have to say it was a completely underwhelming experience. The server while courteous, asked us if we had ordered several time AFTER taking our order. And while it was a very nice set up, the tables were far too close together, and the as there was nothing to muffle the echos of patrons talking, it was nearly impissible converse with my dinner companion. But the worst part was that if the best way you can describe the sushi is bland, things are not good. Everything, from the spicy Tuna rolls, to the Rainbow Roll, all tasted the same, tasteless. I will not be returning to Sushi Kingdom, even if they get a new king. read more

The place is big and bright, very clean as well. We were seated quickly but never really explained how it all worked. Went for dinner, and for $30, it's a good amount of food you can get. The sashimi you can get with the AYCE is 15 pieces, but beware that depending on the type of fish you get, that piece is half of what you usually get anywhere else. Our waiter was pretty slow for only having about 3 tables at a time in his section. The food overall was good, I would probably only come back for lunch and get rolls. There is no need to pay $30 for okay sashimi. Hope they workout their kinks for future customers. read more

Ambiance wa nice, fresh and the place was super clean. We were greeted entering and exiting the restaurant. Service was great considering the menu is confusing to me. It says all you can eat and ala carte but the rolls individually are expensive and the cost adds up to more than all you can eat which is odd to me. Now the actual rolls were mid at best. There is way too much cream cheese in the rolls which is over powering and consumes the rolls. Avocados and cream cheese is just too much for my taste. Most rolls are finished the same wasabi sauce and spicy mayo which make them taste the same. I prefer a spicy roll and didn't taste any spice. Now this fried cheesecake was interesting because I'm not into fried desserts and this reminds me why. I am a fan of cheesecake but warm/fried cheesecake, I wasn't sure but this one was not too bad actually but unfortunately it was not warm all the way through. Midway through or the thickest part was cold. The fried 'skin' was weird and chewy so I removed it. Sushi Kingdom is not for me but the other reviews are great so definitely check them out! read more

Pretty standard sushi for an ayce in memphis. I've had better in other cities but ayce sushi is never as good as regular order. For $19 it wasn't bad though and I will probably go back at some point. Tuna tataki was ok but just ok. Clear soup was ok. Crab salad was ok. Shrimp tempura was not homemade nor was the gyoza. Service was not good but they will get in a groove. I will probably not come back that often. read more
