The food was so flavorful. I was recommended this restaurant by a friend and decided to try it. I wasn't disappointed at all! The service was great and fast. It's also in a great area to dine in or carry out!

It is definitely cheap. Total order for 3 rolls, 10 nigiri, 2 soups, and a salad was $45. The salad and the soup was the best part of the meal. And $3.75 for a huge salad was awesome (other places charge $5+ for half the size) and ginger dressing was good. Miso soup was delicious and a large size (you can split one for 2 people). Now the sushi was not horrible, just extremely bland. Even the "hot and spicy" rolls had no flavor. The spicy tuna roll has zero flavor. The Mr. salmon roll was the best of the 3, but definitely not worth almost $12. I don't think I would be back for their sushi.

Just mouth watering, best sushi in town. The place looks very simple but makes up on the quality of the food

Always prompt service. Food is prepared just the way its ordered. Ingredients are fresh. Pricing is fabulous. They are available on Uber Eats as well.

Came here for lunch with a coworker (July 16) and the food was great! I ordered the Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp lunch and it came with fried rice, vegetables, clear soup, and a simple salad. The portion for lunch was big enough for me to have leftovers and if you eat in the Yum Yum sauce is unlimited! I will definitely come back to try their sushi.

So I saw this place had a 10% discount for FedEx employees, which is basically tax back, so one Friday lunchtime, a group of us decided to go try it out. I got the Tempura platter (6 generous pieces) which was pretty decent and the Winchester Roll and agreed with my colleague's assessment who got the same roll, that the cream cheese should have been whipped or mixed with some sort of chives because as it was now, the cream cheese overwhelmed the rest of the roll. One of my colleagues who got the Chicken Hibachi said the meat was cold and the soup was weak tasting and not much flavor to it. Another colleague who got the Tempura Combo roll, said that the rolls were decent (the sweet potato roll with cucumber and avocado was the best of the bunch) but the accompanying miso was just average taste - no oomph to it. The fourth and final diner was also disappointed in both his sushi rolls that he had ordered. For him, the namesake Sumo roll had nothing outstanding flavor-wise (and especially for something which is a namesake sushi roll, he was expecting it be something special) and then the Winchester Roll (misspelled on the menu) had too much cream cheese, as I mentioned previously. Overall service was nice, but based on the food, not sure any of us would return. Yelp 157/2017

This is the only drink machine. No ice for your tea.

Wow! The sushi here had a little something that I wasn't expecting, especially for a small place. Quality was in line with the big, fancy places, if not a little bit better. It's partial service which means you order at the counter, but they bring it to your table. I ordered 3 rolls for $12 I think and I also ate an order of crispy beef wraps which are really beef wontons. Check out the color of the tuna! It's dark red. It was fatty and delicious. I'm looking online and I can't really decide what that color means. It's probably a bluefin. When meat is fresh and exposed to the oxygen, the myoglobin causes it's color to change to dark red and then brown, so it could be an indication of freshness. We know that no sushi is fresh in terms of never been frozen. It's actually required that it be frozen to kill parasites. At any rate, the freezing process doesn't affect the process of oxidation. What does affect oxidation is gassing the fish with carbon monoxide. This causes it to retain its color for appearance even after the fish has spoiled. So without knowing for sure if the fish was fresh or gassed, it did have a brilliant color and tasted good. The smoked salmon in the philly roll also tasted great. The shrimp tempura roll was excellent too. I really liked the beef wontons which they call the crispy beef wrap. I found they were better to dip into the miso broth than in the sauce they came with. I ate 3 rolls, an appetizer, had tea, and paid tax for just under $20. I think that's good. The place is very nice, but it's a bit small. There's no ice or soda machine. The iced tea is pre packaged in a styrofoam cup with no ice. There aren't many tables. There's only one bathroom so beware. I'm pretty sure I didn't see alcohol. I'm not complaining about any of these things. Just pointing them out. Oh. And I'll be back!

Best and largest shrimp fried rice anywhere I tried (Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago,Nashville, Tennessee). And wings are awesome. Critical of all food places I tried since I travel a lot and tried many places. I would highly recommend this place.

There was a crawfish festival going on right outside its doors so I checked out some vendors while waiting. When our number was called I headed back to what was a literal zoo! It was so noisy that I couldn't converse with my husband. One customer (hyena) was talking and laughing so loudly from the back bar area that her voice carried to the front and startled me every time she opened her mouth. Just uncouth and inconsiderate. I had seen lots of people outside eating boiled crawfish that was pouring out of the styrofoam containers but my husband suggested I get it here. It was on the menu for $9/ 1/2lb and $15/lb but with a minimum pound order, and today bc they were competing with the festival, they upped the price to $20/lb. I had never had whole crawfish but it looked delicious from the outside vendors. I thought my husband was splitting the order with me but he ordered the Cajun fried rice and a grouper fish sandwich. He also ordered the soft shell crab appetizer. It was okay. It was 1 crab, maybe. I was so disappointed when my food arrived in a bag, especially then learning how to twist off the head of the crawfish and discovering there isn't much to them, so in essence it's a pound of useless head. I also thought the crawfish was bland and not worth the effort. Not the restaurant's fault that I didn't know better. My husband said the grouper upset his stomach and tasted like an oil sandwich. To make matters worse, we sat next to a table of 4 young people cursing and on a video call, 1 who made me hyper alert about my surroundings. I was just turned off by the environment and couldn't enjoy my food so I took the entire meal with us so my husband could eat it later. $80 bill for a meal we didn't enjoy and a loud and uncouth environment.

They just ask steamed or fried rice. But if you say fried when you get the bill you'll see the up charge line itemed. Not sure if that's gonna apply to the lunch specials as well in 2026. It's served in a separate bowl that's heaping full ... but the wait staff's finger was dug deep inside the rice when carrying it. Never saw her before but it was a bit off putting. Super crowded on a Saturday night. Standing room only. Heard one person say best restaurant in town. Just an fyi, I found a bone in one of my sashimi. Never happened before. But just be mindful, especially if giving to your kids or if you're like me and stuff the whole piece in your mouth. In the past we used to come and the Chinese staff and owner were super nice to us. And that was part of the charm of always going back. Kinda like going to Cheers where everybody knows your name. Nowadays it really just seems more like any other business. And so times change. With that, I think we will take a break from making this our go to spot in the future.
