This was our first time here! Employees were so nice and helpful! Our waiter helped us find things that are popular and that we would like. All of the food was delicious! We ended up ordering a second order of the crab puff appetizer! The dipping sauce for it sort of tasted like peaches? I think I've heard that called duck sauce before. I especially loved the slurp up cilantro ramen. Just the right amount of spice! The restaurant was dimly lit and relaxed. We will definitely return! I think it would be a nice place to go on a cold day to get a spicy ramen to warm up!

Chicken curry ramen and spicy beef rib ramen

The Chicken Curry Ramen was very flavorful and the portion sizes are huge. The meat on the Spicy Beef Rib Ramen fell right off the bone. The restaurant had a fairly casual atmosphere and great service. The staff is incredibly kind and very attentive.

Cute place, love the wall murals of Japan. Nice friendly people. I had the takoyaki which were ok, not my favorite version. Pork ramen is delicious and the marinaded eggs are perfect yummm. Was expecting thicker noodles but the flavor of broth was excellent. I'd go back but just stick to ramen.

We opted to try this location after a mixup with our movie date. We enjoy the one on Ridgeway and were not disappointed. I do feel this one is a little more spacious. Staff were friendly. Nice array of options that do allow for more add ones and customizations. Fruit tea is available with I always enjoy. The prices are reasonable as well for the portion sizes. 5/5.

I am excited they opened a location here in Collierville. I had completely forgotten about the one in Memphis so I went in blind. I asked the waitress what she recommended from the tonkotsu section as I've liked that best in past experiences. She suggested the Black as customers say it's the most flavorful. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to have much flavor for me. I asked for chili oil and they had some at the table but to be honest that didn't seem to do much for me. I tried the steak from my friends goyu and it was really full of flavor so maybe I'll try that one next time. Or the cilantro chicken one. To Try: Spicy Shrimp Tonkatsu Shoyu Tonkotsu Goyu Vegetable Spicy Creamy Vegan Chicken Slurp Up Cilantro Loved: - Tonkatsu: Kami Ramen (with extra spicy paste) Liked: - Ramen Tonkotsu: Goyu - Topping: Marinated Egg - Topping: Pork Chashu Ok: - Ramen Tonkotsu: Black - Chicken: Panko - Topping: Fish Cake - Topping: Kikurage

Possibly the best Ramen that we've had! We had spicy shrimp ramen, spicy chicken ramen, and chicken and steak ramen. All had the richest flavors you can imagine filled the broth. We all loved our bowls. If we visit again next year for soccer, we will make it a point to eat here!

My favorite Ramen location, they have the BEST marinated eggs, the broth flavor is always good and Yen is an amazing and attentive waiter!

I came here with friends a while ago and was very impressed with the quality of food! I got the kami buns, spicy chicken ramen, and hot green tea. The hot green tea came in its own kettle and it was very flavorful/rich. The ramen had so much flavor as well and got better as time went on. Definitely would eat here again!

My leftover vegan festival ramen! Still so good the next day!

Update: Didn't know there was one in C'ville-we ate at the one in East Memphis! So, so, so good! Fabulous server-wish I had gotten her name. My son goes every week and this is my first time. I absolutely loved it- got the vegan festival and added shrimp. I didn't need the shrimp-everything else was so good. As I am writing this, I am eating my leftovers-this is my new fav place!

Great local ramen spot in town. Parked next to UPS and Vice Nail Salon is a little gem with noodles and rice and everything nice. They have great happy hour specials everyday 3-6pm and kickass green tea. I've had the chicken cilantro noodle bowl, miso ramen, black tonkatsu, and kami ramen bowls with pork. All were very, very good. I liked getting the cilantro lime bowl with pork but love the citrus broth. We have also had garlic edamame, pot stickers, seaweed salad and rice bowls --I don't recall which one... but we haven't had a meal at Kami that wasn't satisfying and delicious. I haven't tried so much on the menu but plan to as it all looks good. I've heard the octopus balls are LEGIT here but haven't had a hankering for them yet. So check it out, it's worth a slot in the ole Poplar lineup. Is it the absolute best ramen I've ever had, no. Is it the best in Collierville TN- absolutely. It's become a weekly spot for us, I will continue to dine here!

This place caught me off guard. I wasn't expecting of all places Mississippi to be a destination…read morefor Ramen. My confirmation bias says the Memphis area is a barren of good food. Well...I guess I was proven wrong. So I dropped my trailer off at Amazon MEM1, input the coordinates onto my Tractor GPS, and my Garmin 800 rejected the request...."Commercial Truck Restrictions All the way." And what did I do? I said f*ckit. I'm taking that risk. Probably the best Risk Reward experience I've had in ages. Every inch of my route towards this Ramen Pilgrimage was plagued by Traffic Signs reading, "No Semi-Trucks $1000.00 fine." And I just want to thank law enforcement between Memphis & South Haven for not busting me for craving a rich bowl of Tonkotsu delight. So what did I discover here? It was like walking into an enchanted Studio Ghibli scene. The hanging charms, the lush greenery, and lighting complimenting the earth tones, the holy sh*t they have PopCorn Chicken & Milk Tea here @@! Felt like I'm back in Taiwan with this fusion of Japanese & Taiwanese Food Culture. There wasn't even a college town nearby and this added more to my culture shock--- of all places... Mississippi. If you guys are still with me at this point, the Kyuramen x TBar in Southhaven wasn't the first location recommended to me by Yelp; I was actually planning on visiting the location in Santa Anita Mall in Arcadia California, BUT like Rayasianboy likes to quote on his live streams, "Goddid." The planets align, they sent me and my rig to South Haven. Alright not gonna ramble anymore, let me get to the verdict: Service: 10/10 Ambiance: 10/10 Food: 10/10 For a franchise, this place has QA down to the tee. Over the years I've for the majority of the time whenever I'm out of state, would patronize Jinya Ramen--been to their Denver Union Station locations, Chandler Arizona, Salt Lake City, one of the earliest times was in Vegas, and basically their brand set the tone for what a Franchise ramen could be. And yes, I could taste the lengthy hours here at Kyuramen that were put in to slow cook the richness out of the pork bones; the portions were measured just right so you can savor the soup, the noodles **al dente**, the egg silky custard like, the Chasu **melt in your mouth** and not feel overwhelmed with the entire ensemble. The karaage chicken/ Taiwanese pop-corn chicken was exploding with moisture, it had the right characteristics of popcorn chicken, crispy light with tapioca starch layered on the outside, marinated in 5 spices, and fried to perfection with the right tenderness. The tea was excellent, and the Yakitori platter---- executed surprisingly well. And when you put together the entire experience....Shin-Sen-Gumi Alhambra California needs to pick up some slack because this little joint in the middle of nowhere puts some California Izakayas to shame. So yes, I'd recommend anyone across the state of Tennessee, Mississippi and Alabama, all the Japanese execs at Toyota Plant, Nissan Plant and Yuki Kawamura to come and make their pilgrimage....oh wait Yuki signed with the Chicago Bulls, nvm, but yes everyone besides Yuki. これで終わります Kore de owarimasu じゃあね Jaa ne 改天再會!
