Appetizer: Fried calamari 2/5. I wouldn't order this again. The vegetables included were fantastic but the calamari was so chewy it was almost inedible. Soup and salad: 5/5. The soup is so light and fragrant. The salad is delicious with its unique ginger dressing that differs from most Japanese around. Sushi- hurricane roll. 5/5. Absolute burst of flavor that all meshes together in one giant bite. One of the best around. Entree: Saik Ja Ka : 4/5. The flavor was absolutely delicious. The meat is cooked well done, which I'm not particular used to with beef but I enjoyed it. The pickled vegetables were amazing. Service 5/5. 0 complaints on service. I've heard from others that this place was good. So we finally gave it a try. Worst timing or just our bad luck because the AC wasn't working. It was so hot in there. If we had already tried this place and knew if the food was good or not, we would have immediately walked out, but for whatever reason we decided to stay and try it. We were miserable the whole time because of the heat. Also, the atmosphere itself, even if it was cooler, just wasn't there. It's a house turned into a restaurant and the floors needed to be cleaned. The food was decent. The sushi was not great because it was warm and because of that, it didn't stay together. The kids meal came with a lot of food (too much in my opinion, but can't complain when there's extra to take home!). The price was expensive for a place like this honestly. I'd rather go elsewhere and get a better atmosphere with better quality for the same price we paid. Our waitress was nice. Tried the oxtail pho and was VERY disappointed. It has zero oxtails. It's oxtails broth. When I asked for an actual oxtail it came out raw and hard. The soft shell crab was disgusting. Spring rolls were the best! I had fried Sushi and my daughter had a traditional roll. They were both very tasty and good size. We split an order of fried rice. Total with drinks was $30 which I thought was very reasonable. Server was sweet and very helpful. We will definitely be back. read more

I wish they had a more extensive menu to the Khmer dishes but it's a good start considering the area. I ordered nom banh jok and lemme tell youuuu, I prefer it over my own mom's lol.
