Salmon with rice and grilled zucchini
Joshua P.

I was recommended this restaurant by a close friend. Personally, I consider this restaurant to be like a fast food/takeout restaurant. For the quality of food and taste they get 5 stars. I love being able to see the grill and the cooks preparing the food. I was very happy with my order. My salmon was cooked perfect. My grilled zucchini was perfectly cooked (i hate soft grilled vegetables). I also had the shrimp appetizer and it was amazing. The service was great and the cashier offered me a drink while I waited. It doesn't get better than that. I definitely recommend trying them out. They have quality food that is healthier than your normal takeout.

I had a wonderful experience ordering my takeout. Steven was patient while I looked over the menu. I decided on the grilled rainbow trout (yum), seasoned rice, zucchini and grilled sweet potatoes. I didn't get the name of the nice lady running around checking to make sure everything was going well. Nothing special about the ambiance you can even bring your new born baby. This is my second time trying this restaurant and they don't disappoint.

L-R: Shrimp baket, Ahi sandwich, Peri Peri chicken
Bill M.

It's been a year since last visit - way too long. It's still great! Our threesome had the Ahi sandwich ($14), Peri-Peri Chicken ($13), and a 'single' (meaning 10) Shrimp basket ($12). All 3 of us loved our entrees. The rice, sides, and fries were good. Service was fine - the wait to order and then to receive the food very good. I think the prices are low for such quality.

Wings

Great food, service could of been better. 13 year old was served wings and one had feathers . Manager didn't act like he cared much. No apology just it happens all the time. It's normal. But is it normal to serve it like that though ?

Lunch rush restaurant was super crowded but service was swift and efficiently. Dinner time is the best time to visit because it's not as much hustle and bustle and I think they do a better job presenting and servicing. Don't get me wrong they have great service all together but I felt dinner time they had more time to cater because during the lunch rush everything and everybody is in a hurry to get back to work and everything is just moving at a much faster pace. This place offers an array of healthy options to choose between. Be Blessed...

Blackened Salmon with piri piri sauce, rice pilaf and grilled zucchini
Brandi P.

Stumbled on this gem after checking out a Pilates class next door and am very happy to add a new restaurant to my takeout rotation! I got the blackened salmon with piri-piri sauce, rice pilaf and grilled zucchini and it didn't last long! The fish was fresh and lightly seasoned, veggies had the right amount of char and the rice soaked up some of the sauce just as I wanted. Note: There's plenty of parking in their lot and lots of seating if you want to eat-in. Looking forward to trying out more of their menu!

Got the fried chicken sandwich and brussel sprouts. Chicken was very overcooked and sprouts were hardly cooked at all.

The food was great, service was also great and it was a very short wait for the food to arrive at the table.

They make everything fresh, so it took 20 minutes...but freshly made is so much better. We had an order of full size wings...but should've stuck with boneless to get more meat. Skinny legs but fabulous taste. Another meal was for chicken tenders. A bit rubbery chicken but the batter and seasonings were very tasty and the crinkle cut fries nice and crisp. The ambiance was unique with Memphis art all around and music videos on the tv. Employee was very hospitable. Will go back and try some other options!

I feel like it is family run. Even the young folks seem to have a sense of ownership. The wings are crispy and fried just right. The sauce names are strange and I don't get it. I have learned that Crazy ____ is Honey _____ at any other place so there is that learning curve to overcome. Seasoned fries are clutch too and they don't charge you $1.69 to season them which I dig a lot. Hate that nickel and dime stuff. They have a self serve drink machine and it's counter service with lots of "to go" type business. It's just like a Memphis wing place should be! It's decorated all crazy just like a crazy coop should be I guess. Decent table seating and lots of room to chill for to go. Yum. Yum. Chicken wings. '25 - 55/111

This fried chicken, however, is very good. All fried chicken is good though. I will not hate on any fried chicken other than the fast food sponge type. That shit is gross! I have been to all locations that these folk have. I hope they make it here (more on that in a few). This location seems pretty dead mostly and they are not doing many things to help themselves I am afraid. But then again, I have seen this at the other two as well in the past and they are still growing. They must be doing something right. I'm the dumbass that thought Soul Fish would never make it, so... don't forget Adam. The workers are very pleasant, all seem to be Filipinos in the FOH, maybe since that's the basis of the concept. They are super nice but there can be a small language and cultural barrier when communicating with them. It's pretty low key inside. They have minimal decorations and did not much more than paint the place on the remodel. The chairs are uncomfortable, especially loud when they hit the floor, and oddly light. Why I think they may be in trouble... The front door is permanently closed. The other door had a closed sign on it twice when I have been there. The last visit the staff disappeared into a closet and two people came in and stood there alone. A guy that didn't speak English came up front and the customers asked, "are you open"? Additionally, the one side I found I liked here at the chain is different at this location. The onion rings are terrible here. They are crappy panko versions that get soggy and nasty really fast. The prices have skyrocketed at this location as well. Since last time I was here the 3 pc combo had increased 25% from the prior visit. That's an insane increase! On top of that, the website doesn't work and the pics they posted on Yelp themselves show the old prices still. Hate that mess!! Love this fried chicken but probably done with this location. I do still love the chicken. I'm done with the combos because the sides are all absolute trash, and the cookies suck too! They always have. Never eaten more than a bite of one. Only chicken for me from here on out. '25 - 116/111

Biscuits, donuts, and fried chicken are staples in my belly! The execution of the vision is where it's all gone sideways. Allow me to explain... They are cashier-less. They are also human interaction less. I do not like it all, although I am a hypocrite as I hate human interactions as a rule. That makes me torn. Ugh The non personal interaction, with the I don't see you vibe you get from the staff when you walk in turns me off. They can see me, but just don't care to. It's tough man. They also don't take good Ol' American cash. I could actually care less about this as I always use cards anyway, but to others it pisses them off when you can't use actual money at a place that depends on money to thrive. This is my real beef, personally. Cheap ass packaging and utensils. Trying to save a dime or so on packaging will make me never come here again! I usually just get handheld biscuits and gator tots so I have never needed to use utensils before. The last time I ordered a biscuits and gravy box. It was served to go automatically and it was in a thin paper box with no liner with a piece of folded up wax paper on the bottom. The fork and knife given to me is the cheapest version you can buy. Think gas station utensils, and then move a step down from that. It was disfigured out of the package and was useless to try and use to cut. It simply folded. Trying to eat this out of the flimsy, tiny box, paired with the aluminum foil thickness plastic ware they gave me, I got so pissed off I just threw it away. The biscuit was good, the gravy was good, the tenders were old and cold which made cutting it impossible. I do believe cooking folks food to order is a must in this day and age. The folks that own this place need to step up the packaging badly. These bowls should be served in actual plastic or poly bowls with a lid and decent set of eating utensils! '26 - 24
