Space looks like an old warehouse but nice and plenty of space. The hostesses were super friendly and got us sat rather quickly. Breanna was our server. I gave 4 stars as the food is really good. The runners get it out pretty quickly and everything on the menu looks amazing, including the drinks. I took away a star as the service left a LOT to be desired. We saw Breanna when we ordered, as the runner put down our meal-she asked if it looked okay. We never saw her again until we were done with our meal. Not checking on us after we've taken a bite, asked for refills, tried to offer desserts-nothing. It wasn't that busy so very discouraging that you couldn't check on us, remove a plate, grab a drink... nothing. We would probably come back because of the menu but customer service is everything. Next, I ordered the Jenn's Fried Green Tomatoes & a side of "homemade potato chips." Their menu states the fried green tomatoes are "fresh hand-battered." No, these are frozen. Something about them just didn't set right with me. Oh!! The "homemade potato chips" are Wavy Lays. Yes, they were without a doubt the Wavy Lays. One friend ordered the BBQ Nachos. We were immediately told they were out of BBQ but could substitute for chicken. This again, was less than lacking. The other friend ordered the Duck Wontons & Turnip Green Bites. I tried half of the Turnip Green Bites. You couldn't taste the greens at all. You see it, but the cheese & bacon over-powered the item. The service was not great. We were upstairs &, at this time, there weren't many people. Drinks were completely empty before we could get the attention of our server to get another. The meat option today was fried chicken, Pot roast or Duck Gumbo. I ordered the Pot Roast with mac & cheese and broccoli with a roll and sweet tea to drink. The Pot roast was cooked to perfection. Nice cuts of meat hot, tender and flavorful with the right amount of seasoning and sauce. Broccoli was steamed with the right balance of crunchiness and a hint of butter flavor without all the added saltiness or over seasoning that other restaurants use. The Mac & cheese had the right blend of noodles to cheese ratio- yes this is important which provided a creamy cheesy butter flavor without the sticky or stiffness or bland cheese taste. It was more of a smooth creamy taste of several blended cheeses. I loved this meal. It was the perfect meal I needed. Comfort food but not too heavy. I love food that I can taste the flavors of the food and season that enhances or blends the flavors and not cover them up. Food that is cooked as it should be keeping as much of the nutrients and the texture as possible yet making it so darn good...... I try something different every trip. This time I had the sausage and chicken gumbo over potato salad. The rue was runny and the gumbo lacked meat. It was a little strips of shreaded chicken and chopped up chicken sausage. (Would not recommend this at all) Downstairs is more family oriented sports scenes with TV's all over. While it looked great it lack in flavor. The chicken tasted like nothing in addition to the gravy and queso poured over the top. I attempted to had salt n pepper but that didn't help. My sister had ordered the blackened chicken Alfredo which I didn't get a picture of but she stated the same thing that the dish lack in flavor. We ask a random waitress for some and she promptly brought us some. Food tasted good. Dynamite shrimp was large shrimp perfectly fried and good flavor. Ziti pasta was flavorful and large portion. Horrible service. My mother and I were one of two tables in the entire bar area room. The other table of two customers received two drinks prior to us even being greeted (about 10 minutes). The server knew nothing of the menu and went behind the bar and asked questions to us across the bar as he typed in our order that he had just written down. Our server Christa was the best, she gave menu recommendations and she was spot on and she made us feel at home, kept checking on us to make sure we were good. I had the blue plate special with catfish, turnip greens, mashed sweet potatoes and hush puppies. The fish was awesome and hot and it was fried perfectly, hard, but tender inside and seasoned well! The mashed sweet potatoes were good, the greens were ok, tasted canned or frozen with onions, hush puppies were good, next time I would try something else for sides. My friend had the duck gumbo over rice not pictured, we both had the Hawaiian Kick cocktail, fruity, but didn't taste any vodka, the pecan cobbler was excellent, crusty and not too sweet and enough to share. For $13 the blue plate special is a great deal and you can add dessert for $2. The cocktail was $10 and needed more alcohol lol. The environment was casual and as time went on more people entered the dining room for lunch and the volume was louder. Today is Valentine's Day february 14th i took my lady here today and the food was horrible and the service was worst. When we walked in we knew this experience was going to be bad we walked in and the host dam near ran to our table to placed our menus on our table and left without a word spoken to us she never came back and asked if we needed anything she didn't even show us where our table was we literally had to look at the table and determine and hope it was ours. Once we sat down and looked over the menu over 15 minutes had went by and you would think because tonight is a special evening then they would be busy but they weren't it. 15 minutes go by and nobody has came and served us nobody has asked do we need anything we don't even have drinks so by now not only was the girl rude who was seating us we couldn't even get serviced and the couple behind us came in after us and they still got their needs met before us. Finally a server comes and asks us have we been helped and we then replied with no. She took our orders and got us drinks another 20 minutes has passed we are waiting on the food the food comes out everything is wrong except the fries. My lady's wings were incorrect and they were bone in when they were supposed to be boneless my burger was wrong and i'm not usually picky or quick to judge but i informed the server i was allergic to cheese and some how cheese still managed to make its way to my burger. The server acknowledged the food was wrong and it got sent back another 15 minutes has went by and at this point i'm irritated the service was horrible the food matched and was wrong and incorrect and its like there were plenty of staff but nobody wanted to serve but they were defiantly playing around.My burger then came back out but to my surprise the burger was burnt!!! You can literally tell biting into it that the burger is quite literally burnt and rushed. And the wings still haven't came out by this time. The wait time was ridiculous even with reservation but I understand you can plan but previous groups may have other ideas. I would say 25-30 minutes after reservation time. I ordered a burger and house-made chips with a side of fried green tomatoes. The burger was cold and it comes with everything however my burger was missing most of the items but I digress. I asked for the items but they never arrived. My chips just folded the were so stale. I asked for another fresh order and was told it comes out of the same bag so I would assume someone left the bag open. A side of fried green tomatoes were two, small, greasy and cold tomatoes for $6! The coating did not adhere well but again, I digress. I ordered a Blue Hawaiian Kick drink and it was a beautiful sunset orange which matched my dress so I took that as a sign and it was good. Because my chips were stale I asked for another drink especially since it was happy hour so that was granted. However, it was added to the bill but was removed when I brought it to her attention. Was in town from out of state for a concert and decided on Georgia Blue for supper. Nice looking place and was very crowded but we were seated rather quickly. Both the wife and I decided to get the steak after hearing that the "market price" was not truly outrageous. Hate to say it but it was one of the worst cuts of ribeye we've ever had. The sides weren't much better. The wife had the Sauteed Squash and Zucchini & Mashed Sweet Potatoes. The Squash and Zucchini just wasn't good and she was served Mashed Potatoes instead of Sweet Potatoes. Waitress fixed the potato issue quickly but the sweet potatoes were not very hot, just warm. I had the Mac & Cheese and Southern Grits. The mac & cheese wasn't bad but the grits were "grainy". Not the "southern" style that I'm familiar with. The steaks were cooked decently, but both steaks had a lot of fat and gristle running through it. We both had to cut judiciously to get some decent meat to eat. For one of the most expensive items on the menu, it was an $$$ disappointment. Was charged extra for a large party (18%). There were 2 of us!! Asked the waitress about the extra charge and said it was "normal" for after 4:00 pm. She explained how all the service staff got a piece of it in their paycheck. Didn't set well with us but I accepted it. I did leave a tip for the waitress (cash) and I emphasized on the way out when I ran into her that it was for her and no one else. It needed a little kick to it. The catfish and grits dinner was excellent. The rodeo burger was a large portion. Get it on the Hawaiian bun. I couldn't even finish it all. The only reason for the -1 star is price/value for what we get vs what we pay. Everyone's food was very good. Greek fries with the gyro were "Greek" in that they had some Greek seasoning sprinkled on them. I'd have liked to see some feta and diced tomatoes, maybe a little tzatziki but it wasn't an up charge for the Greek fries so I guess I'll allow it . The Ace Pineapple beers were very very good!!!! We started with the Cajun spinach dip, which was very good but with chips instead of the Cristini bread. My friend had the seafood linguine which was incredible. The food was really good. However, the service was really bad. We waited about a 20 minutes for the waiter to take our drink order and went ahead and ordered. We asked for lemons with our water and never got them. My husband ordered a salad and they brought mine and had to ask for his. Asked what dressings options and the waiter said we usually just have ranch. We never got water refills, waited for a while for our check and my husband had to go get someone to have the waiter bring the check. I gave the review a 3 because the food was great and would have given it a 5 if not for the poor service. After 4P there is an 18% gratuity regardless of your service. read more

Ok .... We deliberately waited a little while before trying this restaurant. Im not sure I really understand people that go the first few weeks a restaurant is open. Then expect it to be perfect (Especially a new franchise) Everyone knows they must work out all the bugs. Please give them a chance before rating a new restaurant one star. I think everyone should give them a fair chance. I see a ton of potential here! We arrived at 3:00pm with very minimal wait on a Saturday afternoon. They said 15 minutes and it was exactly 15 minutes. The service was pretty good but you can tell they are still working things out. The inside is a good size and the decor is not overly done. About my only complaint about the inside would be how overly slick the floors are.....lol.....It needs some roughing up. The chairs and tables slide around a bit to easy. My Food: One of the biggest items I have been waiting to try. Was the Turnip Green Bites. I love Turnip Greens....... But I was very scared for them on this one. Much to my surprise they were very good! I would say the highlight of my meal. I know this wont be high on alot of peoples list. I highly recommend trying them, even if you dont care for turnip greens. They have a perfect blend of cheese and applewood bacon. This helps them to have their very own taste. None of which were overpowering. The honey remoulade was a perfect choice to dip them in. I also got the Blues Burder and outside needing to pull it off the grill a little earlier. The flavour was really good. The Onion Strings were very good. I think they could give you a little more of them though. I also got a side salad. It was good. Im not a big fan of all spinach salads but it was fine. There are definaly things they can work on. I think they are all small things. That they will get over time. Wife & Daughters Food: My wife got the open face Philadelphia Pot Roast. When they brought our food out. I felt like I made the wrong choice based off the looks of her sandwich......lol..... It came on a french loaf, so be ready to eat when you get this one. She loved it! Very big sandwich. My daughter (Gluten Issues) got the Georgia Blue Grilled Chicken. She said the flavour of the chick was spot on. However the chicken was a little dry. The hickory smoked ham was a big hit. She said it was very flavouful and tender. Overall Thoughts; This will be a great place with something different to choose from. The food was very good and the service was not bad. They could work on the grilled chicken a little bit and watch the amount of time things are staying on the grill. To make sure things dont get overcooked. Maybe do something to make the tables and chairs stay firm on the floor. We will definaly be back! I seen several thingsa on the menu I must try! But dont let these one stars stop you from checking it out yourself. read more
