Home of the Jameson Slushie. It's like a Wiskey Shirley Temple. We had 2 and 1 to go (thanks to the waitress.) I'm not a burger guy and 1 slider would have been fine. They are open on Sat for lunch/brunch which not many places open on S. Main. The building and the vibe inside is good. You may nit even realize there is an inside because the front "lawn" is pretty cool on a great weather night.

Slider Inn is a Memphis classic. The food is great and they have a variety so everyone will find something to enjoy! I have visited multiple times, sat inside and on the patio, and watched a variety of sports events. They host a variety of local fun activities like their movie nights in the summer. Great food, great service, and always great fun!

Auto gratuity of 20% on 2 drinks... ya lost me here

Service was slow. AC was out. Auto gratuity 20% on two bar drink. I always tip at least 20%. You lost me on this one for both locations.

If I could give zero stars, I would. This place looked really cool and I was really excited to try the drinks and food. We got there around noon and there were a few people at the bar and maybe 1 or 2 tables seated. They told us to seat ourselves so we sat down. The table was near the bar. 5 other parties came in after us and were greeted at their table immediately (some of them greeted at the door, think they were regulars) and served drinks. We sat for about 20 minutes without anyone speaking to us. We finally got up and walked out. One of the servers looked right at us as we got up. Nothing more to the story: I don't know if we had a look; we weren't wearing anything offensive idk disappointed

Chick'n-Fill-Ay - 2 Sliders French fries ... burnt tasted like the oil was old and burnt

Food was just well mediocre... I got the Chickfilayy sliders and they were burnt and tasted like old grease also ordered the Hangover Sliders and the meat was left off the sliders .. they did make it right and corrected it but the food was just not that good ... the server was extremely nice ... this place is great for a couple of drinks but the food not so much ...

Parking-good luck! Seriously there's no dedicated parking so if you can't find street parking you will need to pay to park. We found a lot that wasn't a bad walk. We sat ourselves BUT our hostess was GREAT! Amazing dedication and kindness being as busy as she was. If this review was just based on her they would have 5 stars. The food was okay. I've been to the Midtown location and it made me want to go back. We had the mixed sliders. I did the shrimp. Honestly wasn't sure it was shrimp due to being fried extra hard and dark. My fries were slightly brown as well. My other two sliders were decent but nothing like I had in Midtown. We did have the spinach and artichoke dip and it was good. My husband said his meal was okay. I did like how the inside was open and bright and I actually enjoyed the music. It was a little loud but I didn't have a problem since the music selection was on point. Would I go back? Probably not but I do say it's worth the visit.

    Just so DAMN GOOD!

I had a chicken slider, a burger slider, and a pork tenderloin slider. The first two were amazing and the pork just fell flat! The Buffalo chicken slider for real stole the show. Love the vibe here and the space is great. Even loved the bathrooms! Our server was attentive. Everyone who got cocktails or beer loved their drink. It was a good time and I'd recommend checking it out.

A really cool Downtown place with a clean, industrial vibe! Distressed brick walls, a nice bar, a courtyard, & tv's with sports on. Now to the food: I came for lunch and had the lobster bisque, Shack Salad, and a side of homemade potato salad. All was delicious; salad was fresh, the potato salad yummy in its simplicity (it needed salt and pepper), and the bisque amazing. The server was friendly and said Friday nights they serve fresh fish tacos, along with other Daily Specials during the week. I'm coming back to try their lobster roll (Maine lobster delivered 3x a week). Server said mkt price is $32 at this time. I don't eat red meat so can't comment on the hamburgers but they smell good!

Slider Inn does the best sliders, of course! I recommend going for brunch on the weekend so you can get the Hangover sliders. They have hashbrowns, chorizo, guacamole, spicy mayo, and they're perfect. I also had the classic Memphis sliders and they were simply delicious. Slider Inn is known for their Jameson slushies, if that's your thing. There is limited street parking so you may have to pay for parking nearby. They also have lots of live music scheduled during the warmer weather!

I believe the place was empty when we took a seat at the bar but another party of 2 followed shortly behind and sat a little bit further down the bar. I tried something that sounded better than it tasted but ultimately this is a matter of personal preference and I have a high maintenance palate. The people next to us got wings, which looked good until they were dangerously close to a leak that had sprung from one of the exposed pipes above. They had to move to a table behind us and then some of the staff got a bucket to place on the bar to catch the dripping water but that made a very loud noise so then they put a towel inside of the bucket. I will admit that I have never experienced such a thing before. It looked like the pipe that was dripping had tape wrapped over that area so they had tried a "bandaid" fix in the past but it didn't work. Obviously, this does negatively impact the "ambiance" portion of the overall experience and getting the impression that this is an issue that could have been fully addressed previously but the decision was made not to. It wouldn't stop me from going back but it certainly isn't ideal.

I had a fantastic espresso martini and the best brussel sprouts I've ever tasted! So I was excited to come try something else. On the plus side, the bathroom was so nicely decorated. It was also very clean. I sat at the end of the bar, beside the little section of books. The bartender was nice. I ordered the Ember&Passion cocktail. Although it was pretty good, it was quite mild. Unexpected with the ingredients in it. I was surprised that the level of expected heat was not very detectable. I give it 7/10. When I came here before in the winter, the temperature was perfect and I don't remember being too bothered that they don't have cocktail napkins. But yesterday it was quite warm in the restaurant and not having these napkins wasn't good. Nobody in the restaurant had any type of napkin under any drink! I noticed that just like mine, every glass of water from every patron had a puddle of condensation under the glass. Each time I picked up my glass of water, it would drip onto my food and clothes. My two menus got so wet. I suppose they made this decision to save themselves a lot of money. As for the food: My parmesan truffle fries were excellent!! Hot, crispy on the outside and perfectly cooked in the middle. Best I've had in a long time. The Alabama white sauce on the side was just your typical sauce. It tasted just like every other Alabama white sauce that I've had so was not disappointing. But I actually ended up not using it because it was too thin and it didn't add anything to the fries. The fries were excellent enough on their own. I ordered my burger "pink" but there wasn't any pink to it, but I wasn't that bothered about it. Burger and the toppings were tasty, except for the fried green tomato. Looking closely at the picture, you can see that it was SO SMALL compared to the size of the burger. When a restaurant does that, don't they realize that it makes for a glaring disappointment?! It apparently came from near the end of the tomato, and not the middle. If you are going to offer a fried green tomato on a burger, then I feel as if you should only use the larger slices of the tomato, and save the smaller ends for maybe putting in salads. I've always been obsessed with fried green tomatoes. After having my first two bites of burger and still not reaching the tomato, I took it off to eat by itself. Sadly, it tasted terrible! I was surprised. Obviously, they didn't season the tomato or the batter. (Salt and pepper go a long way.) The burger toppings apparently made the tomato batter not only soggy, but also this strange thick texture. Like mushy and chewy at the same time. 1/10 Worst problem: FLIES!!! So many flies! When I just had my drink but no food yet, I noticed them but was not bombarded by them at that point. It wasn't until my food came. All of a sudden I was literally surrounded by them. They were everywhere! No exaggeration. I actually had to use only one hand to eat and the other hand to constantly move back and forth over my food. I eventually gave up and set the plate of some of my fries about 4 inches in front of my burger in order to hopefully draw the flies to the fries so that I could eat my burger. Unfortunately, after only four bites of my burger, when I set it down to take a drink of water, a fly landed on it within one second. Obviously, that was my last bite, and even when I was moving the plate closer to the end of the counter, two more flies landed on it. The glass of straws was inches from me. That, and the book closest to me seemed to be where they gathered to wait for their opportunity to dive bomb me. So many of them! It turned my stomach when I realized that I had been drinking from a straw with my water and I'm sure there had been flies on it before I got there. Every person that gets a straw in their drink at this restaurant has had a fly sitting on top of it. When the bartender told me about the desserts, it turned my stomach to think of just how many flies were in the kitchen. Had I known the fly situation was that bad when I first got my drink, I would have never stayed there, and I certainly would have never ordered food. I do think it is a real shame because the winter months are a totally different experience in that restaurant. But because of how horrible it was this time, I just can't ever come back.

The bar tender greeted us warmly, and told us we could sit anywhere we liked, so we chose a cozy, comfy corner booth. Hubby loved his Sweet Tea, "just right". When we finished that, we poured the Asian dressing over the plentiful Arugula salad. We shared a Trio of tender, juicy Certified Angus sliders. Wow! One of the Worst Customer Service Experiences I've Had After…read moreattending a Pride event and visiting from out of town, my friend and I stopped by Bar Dogs late at night/early in the morning on June 7th, hoping to grab some food before heading back to our hotel. Unfortunately, we were met with one of the rudest bartenders I've ever encountered. As soon as we sat down at the bar, the bartender--a Caucasian woman with a short haircut whose name I unfortunately didn't get--greeted us with an attitude that immediately made us feel unwelcome. Instead of providing friendly service, she was dismissive, impatient, and rushed us through placing our to-go order. She informed us that we could not eat at the bar, which was completely fine. We agreed without any issue and ordered our food to go. However, when my food arrived, I simply opened the container to make sure my order was correct before leaving. She immediately rushed back over and aggressively said, "Didn't I tell you that you could not eat at the bar?" I hadn't taken a single bite--I was only checking my order. Rather than politely clarifying the policy, she continued to scold us and make us feel like we were inconveniencing her simply by being there. We still hadn't even received my friend's food, yet she seemed more interested in lecturing us than providing basic customer service. Once my friend's food finally arrived, we left as quickly as possible. As visitors in town celebrating Pride, we expected a welcoming atmosphere and basic courtesy. Instead, we experienced hostility, impatience, and a complete lack of professionalism. There's a huge difference between enforcing a policy and treating customers with disrespect, and this bartender clearly doesn't understand that distinction. The food may have been fine, but the service was so unpleasant that I would never return or recommend Bar Dogs to anyone looking for a friendly place to eat or have a drink. Customer service training is desperately needed.
