We came in for a late-ish breakfast around 10am or so. We had no wait for a table, but they were doing a pretty good business and it didn't slack off the whole time we were there. The food took a little bit of a while to get to us, however I'd chalk that up to the fact that it's made fresh as opposed to any kinds of delays or anything like that. Also, I'll take a little delay for fresh made food. I had the Southern Staples and it was good! I had a hard time figuring out what I wanted because several things looked good. Oh - we started with an order of the seasonal strawberry croissant donuts and dang were those good!!! I'm not really a donut guy but I had two of them. Thankfully they are little bite sized things. The gravy with the biscuit and gravy which came with my breakfast was good, often you find gravy is not flavorful or seasoned but I felt like this was. I mean I still added pepper and hot sauce but it was definitely on the right path!! Really only other "complaint" was that everyone's coffee cups were long since empty before anyone came to check on us and as was mentioned there was a bit of a delay while food was prepared and we needed some time to peruse the menu I'd have liked some more checkups and coffee top offs. This place upon entering has a clean feel to it. Sorta diner looking, but not quite. We waited about 30 minutes for a table on a Saturday morning. Which is the time we were quoted. The service wasn't bad, but lacking attentiveness. They were super busy the whole time we were there. Our food came out and it was good, but nothing spectacular. I had a crème brûlée French toast. It was so overwhelming with the custard. The donuts were decent. It has the same custard thats super rich. My husband got the country fried steak and it was pitiful. The taste was fine, but it was small. You think country fried steak, you think big. The iced coffee was good and the flavors were balanced well. Not too sweet or bitter. I had high hopes for Eggs up but I was highly disappointed. First let me say the wait was typical around 8:00ish on a Sunday morning. It took us about 30 minutes to be seated. The menu stated that you could order mimosas however our waitress stated that they current didn't have their permit to serve. When we received our food I wasn't impressed. I have nothing but good things to say. We came about 9 am on a Monday. Since this restaurant is fairly new we expected a wait. We expected things to be discombobulated. We expected the wait staff to be unable to answer questions. We expected them to not have seasonal offerings...all normal for new restaurants. And we encountered none of those!! We were seated quickly. Initially told 15-20 minutes but then immediately a table opened up. We were seated in a little back room which made our dining experience quiet and peaceful. Our server Vontavia was fantastic. Kudos to her. Vontavia answered our many questions. Everything came quickly. And they even had seasonal offerings, of which we partook. And everything was delicious. The chorizo scrambler. Yum. Very nice. The home fries were good. I added a pancake for $3 and it was tasty. I got sourdough toast and it was divine. So often breakfast toast is a dry crumbly disaster. Not so with this sourdough. I don't know if it's real sourdough or not but I can say it was tender and soft in a way that toast should be. Buttery. And very good. We decided to share an order of 3 seasonal strawberries and cream croissant donuts. They were very tasty. Our large, bright, and cheerful coffee cups stayed topped off. I stopped by for breakfast around 8am with 5 friends and was greeted and seated upon arrival. The place is spacious and clean and they have 3 large restrooms. The food was good but the Texican bowl was loaded with too many jalapenos and this made it difficult to eat. Most of the dishes are the same combo of egg, breakfast potato, grits and sausage or bacon, biscuit or toast. Orders were fresh and the coffee was good. Tisi was our server but everyone assisted or checked on our table. Great service all around. read more

It's clean. Corporate for insta aesthetic clean. It was fine. The polar opposite of Waffle House. There must have been 20 staff on shift. 15 on the floor and at least 5 in the kitchen. Sent right to the counter since there were two of us not sure why we weren't offered a table. Little loud in there when it filled up. The meals we had. The price wasn't bad. But it was literally nothing special. The corn beef hash is the canned kind. It was fine. The eggs were cooked perfectly. And even though we could almost reached the plating area. I'm going to say it again! This place is Amazing ! The service is always on point. The waitress are so nice ! The food is always on point ! Creme brulee french toast was so good I thought i was eating a creme brulee dessert .I usually get the cheesesteak Melt and it always fix perfectly but wanted to try something different. I was so excited to try our new Eggs Up Grill in OB! The restaurant is very open and bright. Very clean looking with cute decor. The server was nice and attentive. This leaves the food. I really wish I had taken pictures but I was meeting a friend and didn't want to pull out my phone. I ordered the Chorizo Scrambler with biscuit and grits. The scrambler was good but they put ice cold avocado and tomatoes on the top of warm chorizo and eggs so my food was cold almost immediately. It was tasty though. My biggest problem with this meal was the instant grits. I would really think that a breakfast focused restaurant would have homemade grits. Nope! Instant lukewarm warm grits with huge clumps in the bowl. Zero seasoning. It was disappointing to say the least. Not what I expect from a $15 breakfast. My friend told me about their specialty coffee drinks and I was excited to try them until our server let me know they do not have any sugar free syrup options. read more

We were excited to try this place as we always wanted to go to the one in Germantown but they were always packed. We stopped in around 12 for lunch and was about a 20 minute wait but we sat at the bar with no wait. Our waitress was awesome, always smiling and attentive. The owner stopped over and chatted for a second which was nice. Atmosphere was great. Now moving onto the food which got a lower rating. First, the croissant donuts were amazing and got devoured instantly. The main courses not so much. I ordered the Patty Melt with fries. The fries were undercooked and translucent. The Patty Melt was good except there was no sauce and had raw (not sautéed) onion chunks on it which just ruined the sandwich. My wife chose the breakfast quesadilla. It was super greasy and not crunchy at all. Again it has raw onions and peppers in it which made it inedible. My daughter got one of the bowls which she ate everything in it except again the raw onions and peppers. I know we will try it again as I am sure this was some first week kinks that need to get worked out but wanted to give our initial review. read more

We placed our name on the list and got the notification that our table was ready. We sat our table from 12:30-12:42 with multiple waiters walking by and never were greeted for 12 minutes. I told the hostess when we were leaving and she said oh ok. I saw 6 waiters just walk right by our table. The least someone could do is acknowledge us and say they'd be with us eventually. The food was horrible EVERYTHING taste like it was microwaved. The eggs taste like powder, the sausage tastes like precooked meat that was microwaved pancakes as well. We decided to try this place after seeing the good reviews and how busy the parking lot always is. We were seated and helped very quickly. Our waitress was super cute and friendly. I ordered the corned hash Benedict and my hubby got the chicken fried steak. Our food came out and his CFS was so small, it was smaller than his biscuit. It looked like a fast food breakfast sandwich, and not a good one like Carl's Jr.The biscuits were flat and dry. My grits were all clumpy and dry, I literally picked them up in one clump with my spoon. The corned beef looked straight out of a can and the hollandaise sauce was broken and chunky. First time trying since outlaws said it was good. Came in around noon. Ordered the Texas bowl while wife got B&G. Waitress was on it for getting our order but that's where it went south from there. Had other customers come in after us and order and got their food while ours was no where in site. It finally showed and was lukewarm. I believe what chorizo there was was covered up but the jalapeño taste. Biscuits and gravy were not that great. There were not that many people in there at all. With the 5 cooks in back, you would think that the food would be out in shorter time than 20 minutes. Hate to see what it takes when it gets busy. read more

My wife and I have been wanting to try out the new Eggs Up Grill in Olive Branch so we stopped by this week. It was their opening week and they were quite busy. We were greeted with a smile as we walked in and were seated almost immediately. The restaurant had a rather cool diner type decor and was bright and cheery! After reviewing the many breakfast and brunch options on the menu, we placed our order with Eliza. I ordered the Shrimp and grits bowl and my wife got the Baja Chicken omelette. Mine was amazing! I loved the garlic and cheddar grits with shrimp and Andouille sausage. I will definitely be getting that again. My wife said her Baja chicken omelette was fresh and tasty as well. Hers came with the regular grits which were good but she preferred my garlic cheddar grits. She said she would be getting those as a side next time. We came in at 12:50 to have breakfast. The hostess told us that they were no longer seating people if we were not on the wait list. The bar had open seating, but she told us we could not sit there. We left and went to Staks. I checked the wait list just out of curiosity, and it was still open with only one person on the list. I called and talked to the manager, and he said that was not their policy. We will give it another try, but we're very disappointed. I realize that on Valentines Day, restaurants may be busy. I didn't think for breakfast but anyway, waited an hour for a table. I was okay with that. Restaurants should always be prepared for holidays and have enough staff. But then waited another HOUR for our food! I ordered the poached eggs and they were hard boiled.
