My favorite in Destin the service and food are the best in the area including the environment

You can't go wrong with this hidden Jem! Amazing breakfasts served up gourmet style without the gourmet prices!

I came here for lunch today and there was not much of a wait. The staff was very quick and friendly. We sat down and they took our order right away. I ordered the classic eggs Benedict. I didn't enjoy it at all. The eggs were over cooked. Not a fan of this place. I hate wasting money on food that I don't even get to finish. I'm so disappointed and I won't be back. read more

Another Broken Egg is a chain restaurant, so I am giving it a 4 when it would get a 3 if it were a locally owned spot. It is a GOOD chain restaurant, with an extensive breakfast menu, including brunch items like shrimp & grits and mimosas. The menu reads more eloquently than the food appears when you receive it. Recently I've had touch and go service, but some excellent chilaquiles with eggs from the holiday menu. Try the city grits, with bacon, green onion, and tomato. read more

The good is delicious, service is excellent and friendly. It always looks clean but the in/out doors for the wait staff is a horrible flow. That drives me crazy to watch. Perhaps it's just insane entertainment. Lol read more

The food quality has greatly deteriorated since my last visit 6 months ago. From food prep to presentation, it probably didn't deserve the 2 stars I rated it. I was part of a group of 6 and all 6 dishes were far below the expected quality. It may be a function of untrained cooks but I cannot excuse it. Food tastiness and overall quality must be the priority. I strongly suggest this store at Highland near Poplar hires a professional head cook to train and oversee what is coming out of the back of the house. read more

Can't figure out why a 'breakfast' place would not have decent coffee options? I need a nice latte at least?

Breakfast is always fantastic. Love the environment, the quality of service and definitely as good as it gets in Shelby county.

Have to say I wasn't sure what to expect from this restaurant but after walking in through the door it was clear that this was the place to be. A friendly smile at the door goes a long way and it was busy busy busy. The 20 minute wait flew by and once inside have gone to the patio area which was warm and clean. The waitress was friendly and topped up the coffee in what I think is an amazing Broken Egg Cafe cup - well it doesn't take much to keep this English man visiting America happy and cheerful. The coffee was hot and great ( I do love a good coffee) The omelette was amazing - hot and so tasty have to say this was the best one ever and would recommend this is tried any of them on the menu. If you are near by then do visit here you won't be sorry. read more

Craving egg's Benedict!! We planned ahead and got on the waiting list at 1010. After waiting for over an hour and a half, we were still waiting. Apparently the hostess couldn't figure out how to move tables together. However a 7 top was seated while we were waiting. Thankfully PF Chang's is just around the corner. Not exactly eggs Benedict but we got seated. read more

City grits taste like water. Eggs nasty. I real waste. They use to be so much better.

They've redeemed themselves! The food and service was great. Much improved from my last experience. A drink order was incorrect, but a very medium issue. Bravo to ABEC. read more

We spotted in on a whim and was told that the line out the door would have us waiting for 15-20 minutes. They took our number and we were informed that we'd receive a text when our table was ready. With that convince we were able to walk around the area without worrying that we wouldn't hear our name called. We were please when we received a text that our table was ready within a 5-10 minute window. :) Are waitress was friendly without being fake. She was knowledgeable of the menu and helpful when we mentioned that we were on a low-carb diet. We were about to exchange out the higher carb items of breads, grits, potatoes, etc for a side bacon (which my picky bacon eating boyfriend said was cooked to perfection). She was even helpful by offering coconut milk when I mentioned that I couldn't have dairy. We each opted for an omelette. My Floridian omelette was wonderful! My gent tried it and said it was a little too seafoody for his taste but as a Floridian I thought it was heaven. He ordered the bacon themed omelette but I'm now wondering if that's what he received since the meat that came on top of his meal wasn't actually bacon but seemed to be a sausage of some kind. He said it was good and he didn't want it to go to waste so we didn't think twice on it. We'll be back! read more

Another Broken Egg Cafe - The Floridian Omelette with side of bacon and oh so good cold brew with coconut milk! Pure happiness on a plate! - Cafes Near Me - Memphis, Tennessee

EXCELLENT food and SUPERB customer service! I made the mistake of going to the Highland location and the greeter rudely asked, "You gone wait 2 and a half hours?" I thought restaurants were glad to see customers willing to wait during a pandemic. We left and went to my preferred location, where I also recognize the employees and service was faster. Lesson learned! read more

I've never eaten anything bad at Another Broken Egg. So far I've tried their smoked salmon Benedict, Mardi Gras omelette, Bacquezo omelette, the B.L.A.S.T., and the beignets. I also had the Floridian omelette. It wasn't bad, but it definitely wasn't as good as everything else I've had there. Every time I go, I drink way too much coffee because it's so good (and the cups are adorable so that's a plus!). I recently started trying their mimosas and kicked off those efforts with the blueberry lemon. Oh. My. Gosh. It was amazing. I can't wait to try all of the other flavors. Be careful of wait times, especially on the weekends. I've waited over an hour on a Sunday afternoon. read more

My husband and I went here after searching for the top places to eat for breakfast. We went there with high hopes. The waiter was really nice, he was hard-working and polite. The food took a very long time to get to us. The entire order was wrong. The food tasted horrible with no flavor at all. The poor waiter was apologizing that the cooks were getting the orders all wrong. We weren't the only people having the problem, other people were complaining and walking out. The manager was walking around having to apologize to everyone. We won't be coming back here again. Awful food, great service. read more

Great food - Veggie Delight Omelette and Huevos Rancheros. Glad the tomato salsa and sour cream come separate. Sensitive tummy. Excellent service. ANIA was friendky, attentive, and happy "I got ya" attitude. Will be back. read more

We love going to Broken Egg! They always bring water to our dog and welcome him on the patio.

Fabulous food, awesome service Poor planning What's the point in call ahead seating to wait an hour to be sat. Then we weren't even sat together and 6 of us sat at a table for 4. We would have made other plans. Terribly disappointing and it was a family celebration read more

I am in love with this brunch spot! We've been a few times now as part of our weekend routine and each time we have been so pleased with our choices. Don't pass up getting the breakfast potatoes topped with avocado, bacon and cheese! The mimosa pitchers can't be beat - lemon blueberry is our favorite hands down. We've tried omelettes, the crab Benedict, and loved each one. Next time we go I'm going for the shrimp and grits! read more

Even after joining the waitlist, the wait time was way longer than initially quoted. Because this is a busy location, we looked past that. We ordered our food after waiting about 15-20 minutes at the table and then waited about 45 minutes to an hour for the food to be delivered. The food that we received was great, but the customer service has lots of opportunities for improvement. We ordered our meals with biscuits and beignets, but never received them. We made 2 servers aware multiple times and still didn't receive them after being told that they would be right back with them. Nobody apologized. The waiter just said he would take it off of the check and dropped the check off at the table. This was our first experience at this location and will be our last. read more

Beignets: small & dense not fluffy. Eggs Benedict: cooked HARD, although promised medium. Ham was "okay." Hollandaise Sauce: tased like it came from a box. Home Fries/Potatoes: beyond bland. 1 bite=done Mixed berry pancakes: Ordered w/o whipped cream, came with whipped cream, and ONLY a small amount of strawberries (only). Where's the mix? No other berries. Pancakes: again, dense and doughy. 1 bite=done Coffee mugs were cute. Disappointed =Understatement read more

Not what I was expecting because I heard so much good reviews about this restaurant. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing. The wait time was 2 hours. I'm not sure if I would try again. read more

One of the best places I've gone for brunch here in Memphis. I was joined with friends on Sunday. I heard about this place but never been. There was a bit of a wait upon arrival but it was WELL worth it! The service was top notch and the food was really good! We started the meal with the beignets! They were AMAZING and probably my favorite part of the meal outside of the grits! They came with a peach glaze but I liked them without. For my meal I had the Veggie omelette which was okay but what really blew my mind were the grits!!! I substituted my fruit for the grits and it was worth EVERY carb!!! Highly recommend trying the grits! They come with bacon in them. Not sure what types of cheeses were used but they were really good! For drinks I had the tropical sangria! Very sweet but it was really good! I will definitely be back! read more

Easter morning apparently not ready opening crowd and front guy was a little overwhelmed but a server seated us and things got better. Server friendly and efficient. Coffee good, hot and a never empty cup. Biscuit beignets good start but one is enough. All breakfast entrees were well prepared. Glad we stopped in. read more

Been several times and it's just way overpriced. Good isn't anything special. You do better going to elsewhere for value.

This review is solely for our waitress Miranda. She was awesome on this past Saturday. ( 9.25.22 at approx. 1 pm) It was so chaotic and unusually unorganized on this date however, this young lady had the patience and calmness as if nothing was going on around her. We witnessed a table being difficult with her but she remained calm. Thanks Miranda!!! read more

They don't answer the phone as far as making a call in order ... So I placed an online order and when I arrived I sat at the bar for literally 10 minutes waiting on someone to retrieve my order and when I looked at my order it came in kids size portions and was cold ... Very disappointed and upset about the whole ordeal... I remember when they used to take pride in what they produced now it's like take it or leave it ...!!! read more

And here we are at the broken egg. This is my second time, as you know , we were here right after it opened and my review was not good. I certainly was not impressed in any way, BUT this time is a turn a round. It's been a few years. We did not have to wait, seated immediately, coffee was asked for and , there it was! Waitress was Jessica ( I think that is her name) she was smiling, helpful and had a positive demeanor . Breakfast was delivered in a very short time( freshly cooked and warm, more coffee , and what do you know , still a smile! , seating was certainly distanced ,they certainly have their act together in the kitchen , my omelet was perfect, husbands food was delicious, ( he bragged) and that biscuit was heaven! , I always like an omelet with spinach, bacon, and cheese and they have delivered big time , this is the place fir a great first meal of the day. read more

This was right next to our hotel and sounded much better than hotel breakfast! It was Thursday morning around 10 AM on July 4th and they were busy, but we were sat right away. John was our server and he was tremendous in taking care of us and offering suggestions on his favorites. I had the dark roast coffee which was perfect. We tried a 1/2 order of the biscuit beignets which came with an orange marmalade. The beignets were good by themselves (but not Cafe Du Monde good) but I was not a fan of the marmalade that came with them. I ordered the Mardi Gras Omlette due to its ingredients I typically wouldn't think to put in an omlette, plus my love of cajun and seafood. It was delicious and an excellent recommendation from John. We also got the Shrimp 'N Grits with smoked gouda cheese. Generally, I'm not a huge fan of grits, however I could've eaten these all day long. Also, their own Pepper Sauce added to my omlette. It's a little sweeter and smokier than traditional hot sauces, which I loved. read more

I come here pretty often and the food is always great! The only thing I hate is the long wait! It's so worth it though.

We went on labor day weekend to set a reservation as I had came in from out of town to spend time with family. We were told there would be a one hour wait so that's what we did. After no text, we went to check on our reservation and come to find out we were never put on the list. We received no apology or compensation and just given another wait time if 45 mins. read more
