First time going to Another Broken Egg Cafe. Almost every table was taken on a Saturday morning but you can add your name to a wait list before going which is helpful since they do not take reservations. The food was good but very expensive. I had the supreme omelet with hash browns and an English muffin. It was good but will try something different next time. Soooo many choices to choose from. The server was very friendly and didn't rush us to order. read more

I ordered the Lobster and Brie omelet. I did DoorDash this, so I was not in restaurant. I like all the ingredients on this omelet, and it tastes fine, just really creamy ingredients so it turns into mush. This could also be because I doordashed it! I will be going to this restaurant one day and eating in their menu looks incredible! Probably not going to get this omelet. read more

This place is outrageously good! I had the Hash Brown Benedict with City Grits and it is sensational! The bacon and Gouda in the grits elevate it to the next level! I am not a breakfast person at all, if I don't have breakfast I don't really care, AT ALL! But if I come here to have breakfast or brunch, I know I'll enjoy it. This is a cute restaurant, with a nice vibe and modern structure, the lines can be long to get a table but if you don't mind to wait, just do it. Even though my food was not amazingly good (maybe this one is not the best they have) I enjoyed it but being honest is a weird version of huevos rancheros, I expected something different, but it was not terrible. I think the drinks are pretty tasty and the bartender that day (11/19/2023) was super kind and friendly. If you are a brunchaholic you might enjoy this one. read more

Food was good but nothing special and thought it was a little high for the amount you received

Came to Easton to shop all day for my sister's birthday and wanted to start with a good breakfast/brunch to set the tone. So glad to have made the choice to try Another Broken Egg. Joining the waitlist was a simple online form and checking in the host was standard process. The dining room feels like a standard brunch place. Carl B was our server and he made this first experience of this restaurant a great one. He was ready with recommendations, attentive to our needs, and truly seemed to care in his check-ins with us. My sister got the Southwest Scramble with the City Grits, her boyfriend got the Bacquezo Omelet with potatoes, and I got the Smoked Salmon Benedict with potatoes. Everything was Amazing but I truly want to comment on the City Grits. Have never had grits made like that before but will be trying to recreate them at home for sure. So good!! So glad to have started our day with brunch here. As their wall says, "You can't buy Happiness, but you can buy Brunch. And that's basically the Same Thing." read more

This was one of the best restaurants I have tried in Columbus. I'm not sure why so many people have left negative reviews. The food heavily draws from Southern cuisine, and it is absolutely incredible. The server we had recommended the Bourbon Street Pancakes but with french toast instead of pancakes, and it was amazing. The cocktails were delicious too. This is more of a "trendy" restaurant, so if that isn't your preference, I would skip it. They also do not accept reservations, but you can join the waitlist, and you'll get a text when your table is ready. My friends and I just hopped on the waitlist, did our shopping around Easton, and then grabbed some brunch. Our server was wonderful too - super helpful, very friendly, and provided great service. Overall, I highly recommend trying Another Broken Egg Cafe. read more

There's nothing special about the ambiance but there is definitely something special about the the food, I've been here twice now and was surprised with the new fall special "Lobster Benedict Hash" It was creative and good and oddly enough I don't have that "blah full" feeling afterwards, the service was just ok... not bad but not great. I would definitely come back though. read more

crystal was amazing as well as the food. Would definitely recommend. we will be coming back.

A rep stopped in at my office and gave me some info on their catering offerings, along with a free beignet coupon. When my husband and his brother needed a breakfast idea, I told him about Another Broken Egg Cafe. The rep talked so highly about it, and were always up for new things, so they tried it out. It was quite possibly the worst meal they've ever had. I was told: The beignets were overcooked and dried out, the dipping stuff was solid gelatin of some sort." My husband loves donuts and he didn't eat them. That's saying a lot for him. His brother took one bite of his food and didn't finish eating because it was just not good. The eggs Benedict was also not good. Overall, I would not recommend. read more

Excellent service and well ambiance seating area. Belgium style dinner At first the biscuits seamed hard on the outside with some powder sugar. Oh but how wrong was I, super delicious on the inside with crisp on the outside. Can't get enough of those ,,, the other plus was the jam that came with it ! Pancakes and french toast were very good as well. Recommended A+++ read more

Delicious brunch place!! The mimosas were tasty and strong (with lots of champagne!) that my group was so happy about! They have the BEST GLUTEN FREE PANCAKES I have ever found!! They were absolutely amazing and I have yet to find a place in Columbus that makes gluten free pancakes this good. The French toast, fruit, eggs, bacon - everything was delicious! I will say I don't recommend the pork sausage as it had a weird taste to it, but it was still edible. We went on a Sunday at 11:30 AM - SUPER busy time to go but the service was amazing. They were attentive and on top of their game! read more

Get ready to do some waiting! You can put your name ahead of time for a table on the website, but you'll wait again for awhile after you order. Service was friendly, but it just seemed to take forever. I was hoping for more once my meal came--but I just wasn't all that impressed. I ordered the shrimp and grits and it lacked flavor and the shrimpies were TINY (which was funny to me because they have a "gulf shrimp" poster on the wall that insinuated to me that I'd get some sizable shrimps in my meal!) Prices were also inflated and to me didn't seem worth it. It's Easton--it's a tourist trap restaurant. I'll stick to my favorite breakfast spots in town. read more

Arrived 9:40am. Restaurant was clean. Hostess was friendly. Food was good and came quickly after ordering, however order was incorrect. Ordered the biscuit and gravy, with eggs scrambled, arrived sunny side up. No revisit from the waitress until she brought the bill. She never asked how food was, very much in too much of a rush to be concerned with my order (appeared to be understaffed by the number of tables she was covering). Colombian brew coffee was good. Went to use restroom and no toilet paper in the men's single stall restroom. Glad I checked before taking my seat on the throne. Pricing was high for breakfast food. read more

Overall, a very cute atmosphere for brunch! We all enjoyed our meals, and there was a wide variety of items on their menu. I will say they don't accommodate dietary restrictions, so you have to be careful what you pick. Our waitress was very friendly at first, but it didn't seem like she enjoyed talking to us. We got some snappy answers and other times she was completely quiet. The hostesses also were slightly unfriendly. Despite this, the food here is excellent!! I would definitely return for that alone. read more

Parking: This location does not have its own parking, but has a shared parking lot across the street and behind the restaurant. Both locations fill up quickly during prime hours and holiday seasons. 2 stars. Customer Service: I ordered a meal to go, then after returning back to my office I realized they did not give me half the meals that I paid for... Therefore, I returned and requested my missing entrees. The employees were unapologetic and acted as if they were bothered by my request. Horrible customer service. 1 star. Food: The food was overpriced for the taste and small serving size. I ordered several meals and all meals were made in child portions. The chocolate chip pancakes had few chocolate chips and tasted like frozen pancakes. The bananas tasted old. They would not put the integral whipped cream on pancakes, so I had to request it as a side to receive. The English muffin tasted store bought and not freshly baked. 1 star. Conclusion: This restaurant needs better management and better food. I was mostly disappointed in the customer service. I would give them a break, but it's a Tuesday morning and they weren't even busy. 1 star. read more

This restaurant was a nice little Surprise . First time here our waitress was a sweetheart so sad I can't remember her name . But she had the party that had a engagement proposal on a Saturday morning . We were with that group and she was very informative and gave good suggestions and honest opinions. I had the bourbon waffle it was delicious. The home made sausage was tasty I prefer it to be more seasoned but it wasn't bad . The atmosphere is pleasant and welcoming . The staff were friendly. The place stays busy so if you can make a reservation. Our party enjoyed there meals and we had a good time . read more

I finally got to try this place out for the first time ever. Every time I would go by, it was packed out and so busy - it was totally worth the wait! I order their Key Lime Pancakes and Breakfast meal, that came with 2 eggs and a meat choice. The key lime pancakes were on point and something I would go back specifically for! They had plenty of other fun and different breakfast items you typically wouldn't see at other places. Our server was super kind, friendly, and helpful at tour guiding the menu. I visited Another Broken Egg at Easton around 10 a.m. on a Wednesday and the experience was disappointing. We were seated at a very small table squeezed between two families, even though multiple open tables were available. We politely asked to switch tables, and the server simply said 'no' without offering any explanation or alternative. It felt dismissive and unprofessional, so we decided to leave. I hope management addresses this, because a little customer consideration goes a long way. read more

It was definitely an experience yesterday at Another Broken Egg in Columbus. Keep in mind that this review is within a few weeks of the restaurant opening. This restaurant was PACKED! I knew I wanted to go to this restaurant the day before so I was looking on Yelp and realize that there was a waitlist option. I wanted to go eat at 10:30 AM so I put myself on the waitlist at 9:30 AM and it said it was about 45 to an hour wait. We arrived at 10:15 AM and was told that we would have to wait 30 to 50 minutes more for a table. They were people coming in as a walk-in and were told that they would have to wait an hour to two hours for a table. This place is definitely a waitlist restaurant if you are going during the peak hours of the day. After about 45 minutes of waiting, the manager walked up to us and asked if we had our name on the list and I said yes and he asked what it was and how long we've been waiting and right away, he grabbed menus and said you are not waiting anymore and sat us. It took about five minutes for our waitress it come over and we ended up ordering our meals and drinks. I got orange juice which cost about $4 which I might skip next time. For my entree, I got chicken and waffles and look at that photo. The Chicken and Waffles is Crispy fried chicken tenders on a Belgian waffle, drizzled with house-made chipotle honey. The chipotle honey was AMAZING! I asked for more. My friend got an omelette but I can't remember which one. Great restaurant, will definitely go again but it was a long time waiting but the food was fantastic read more

My first impression was last Sunday when we arrived at 1:00 for brunch. The place was very busy. I approached the host stand and let them know I needed a table for 3. The girl said "oh no, we are on a 2 hour wait and we aren't taking anymore names". So basically, "leave with your bad self"... no real apology, nothing. With the restaurant still being open for an hour, I was shocked (whether they were busy or not) to turn people away when we arrived well before closing time. Not a great first impression, but they are new so we gave them another chance. Unfortunately after dining today I regret the second chance. We decided a weekday after breakfast hours would help with the congestion and busyness of the restaurant. I put our name on the waitlist via Yelp and when we arrived we only had to wait for the table to be cleaned off. Still lively and and good crowd at 11:00AM on a Thursday. So far, so much better! The service was decent...but I'm all about the food! We ordered the Hash Brown Benedict, Country Power Bowl and the Bourbon Banana Pancakes! My dad said the Hash Brown Benedict was terrible. The hashbrown croquets did look very burnt from my view but I did not taste them. He said he would give the dish a -1. Yikes. I had the country power bowl and bourbon pancakes. The power bowl was subpar, not much flavor. The mix of grits, scrambled eggs and gravy felt like a heavy bland that was heavy without good flavor. The pancakes were dry and completely burnt. This was a one and done for me. Hopefully they can work out the kinks for everyone else! read more

I'm always down to go out to breakfast so when my mom invited me to this place I was stoked. Another broken egg is in Panera's old location at Easton, near Trader Joe's. Walking in I noticed it's bright, clean, and very open. We were seated right away and greeted by our waitress shortly after. We ordered drinks and food pretty quickly and as we waited for our food several team members checked in on us and gave refills when needed. The menu is southern style food with some items even leaning slightly more low country. There's a good variety of options. I chose the Big Easy Scrambler which was scrambled eggs, potatoes, andouille, crawfish, peppers, onions, and cheese and served with an English muffin. I enjoyed my food, it had nice flavor and was well seasoned. The English muffin wasn't served with butter or jelly/jam so I did have to ask for that, but it was good too. We also ordered the biscuit beignets, they are served with orange marmalade, they were delicious. They were piping hot and a good size, a full order is definitely enough to share with the table. I will say that the restaurant is on the louder side. Between the conversations carrying and the music, it was quite noisy. I also think the prices are a bit high for a breakfast/brunch spot ranging from $13-15 per meal. They also serve alcohol and those drinks were in the $10 range. Overall I had a great experience and would return. read more

I have visited here twice now and feel pretty certain with a 3 star review. My food and experience here both times was good. Not great, not bad, just good. On my first visit I had the strawberry pound cake french toast. I expected this to be really dense but the pound cake was incredibly crumbly and hard to get on my fork. The egg/milk mixture for the french toast didn't really penetrate the cake, it was just on the exterior. Overall it was fine but not what I expected. My guest got the cinnamon roll french toast. I tried a bite and it was wayyyy too sweet for me but she really liked it. On my second visit I did the "traditional day starter" which includes eggs, meat, potatoes or grits, and an english muffin. The menu stated you could add two "traditional day pancakes" for $5 so I did just that. What I didn't realize is that the pancakes were maybe 3 bites each. So for $5 I got 6 extra bites. I would not get this order specifically again because it wasn't a lot of food for the price to be honest, but it all tasted good. The blueberry lemon mimosa is also really delicious and refreshing. read more

I had brunch today and although our food was good, I was a bit disappointed with the service and very disappointed with the presentation of both my plate and my fiancé's. You eat with your eyes first & if I can plate food nicely at home, they can definitely do it here. We came when it was pretty busy, but now I know you can join the waitlist on their website. So, I will do that next time. Our server was not very attentive throughout the meal. I even asked for napkins several times and never got them. She mentioned it when we were ready to leave, after I asked for a to go box. When it was time to pay she was busy talking to her friends seated nearby. I ordered the mango Barbacoa tostada stack. The meat was very flavorful and juicy but they were stingy with the mango salsa. The tortillas were fried to perfection and my egg was properly cooked over medium. My fiancé got the lemon blueberry & goat cheese pancakes. They were so fluffy and delicious but her food was also slopped on the plate and the eggs tasted like school cafeteria eggs.. Another thing that was disappointing was that the tables and chairs were not properly cleaned. I had to dust remnants of previous customer's meals off of my chair & I also wanted to clean the crumbs off of the table BUT I did not get the napkins that I requested. I would love to give this place another try when it is less busy and hopefully receive better service. read more

First time here! Walked in on a Saturday morning around 9:30 and was seated immediately. I ordered the lobster and brie omelette with a biscuit and a side of fruit. Everything was delicious! However, (I can't believe I'm saying this) the cream cheese what a little heavy and bland inside the omelette. Still, I loved the toppings with the tomatoes, lobster, and brie. It's a small space inside so it can be very loud. I like the natural lighting and long span of windows allowing you to look out to the street. No alcohol this trip as I was trying to keep it light but they have an extensive cocktail menu and if you're into bloody Marys, they make their own mix! They have a large list of bloody Mary options I'll have to try next time I stop in. Our waitress was punctual and kept my water full and food coming. I never felt rushed, but everything came so fast! So make sure to slow down and enjoy it. P.S. they have their own pepper sauce!! Try it! It's good! read more

This restaurant is in Easton outside. There is garage parking which is convenient. We put our name on the waitlist when we were leaving home so our table would hopefully be ready when we got there. We had to wait about 15-20 mins for our table still once we arrived. Once we were seated, the service was great! I ordered the Louisiana Shrimp Benedict with the city grits which was soooo good. Wonderful experience here today. Yes, there was a wait to get in and it was super busy, however, we chose to go later on. Sunday morning. So we expected it. We got our text, showed up and got seated right away. Our server, Chauncey came right over and had amazing recommendations for us. Personality, charm, humor, came back to check on us. Apologies for delays, but again, we expected it because of how busy they were. For our party of five we tried an Irish Coffee, Spiked Vanilla Cold Brews. Meals consisted of Power Monterey Omelet, Shrimp and Grits, Bacon Burger, Hash Brown Benedict, Bacquezo Omelet, Bicuit Benignets, Orders of City Grits and Bourbon Street Pancakes. Drinks were amazing. Food came out hot and absolutely delicious. Bathrooms were clean. All five in our party said we would return and we would definitely request Chauncey's area, excellent service and recommendations! read more

Get here early. We hit the place around 1015 on a Saturday and it was already packed. Thankfully my wife used the call ahead option so we weren't waiting long. Omelettes are solid and you can alter them to your specifications, which some places are doing away with. Decent decor, kind of standard for new places. Service was excellent. Our server, Chauncey, was friendly and very helpful. The wife got a veggie omelet (hold the goat cheese) and I had the meat filled omelet with egg whites. Very good. Stopped in for Sunday brunch. The host was not very friendly and seemed to be trying to deter folks by giving long wait estimates. We were told it would be a forty minute wait and we had no other plans so we decided to hang around. To our surprise, we were seated about ten minutes later. So I believe in the space of brunch wherein one can offer omelette, waffle or pancake varieties along with the taste of course is pretty limited. I look forward for menus which offer something different from the usual "diners'. There is nothing wrong in them i go there too but you definitely need some excitement. Try this place i think you will be refreshed with seafood combination in some dishes that you don't get anywhere else.
