Decent breakfast spot. Highly recommend checking the wait time and checking in online prior to arriving. There was about an hour wait at 11 am on a Sunday. We were seated shortly after checking in. I had the Monterey omelet which was ok. I wouldn't get it again. The potatoes were very average - no seasoning or anything. My husband had the southern breakfast bowl. It was also just ok. Had their summer special champagne lobster omelette it was absolutely delicious. We didn't have a wait, we sat at the bar and was served immediately. They had the bar window open so we had a breeze coming in which was nice. This is a pretty cool place and the wait was 10min for those that needed a table. One star for our friendly server, nice decor and convenient online waitlist process, but otherwise a forgettable dining experience. $38 plus tip (and a $1.05 credit card processing service fee...because the 900% margin on coffee and eggs wasn't enough) for a breakfast that was lukewarm and barely edible. Pancakes were forgettable on every level, and small enough to be overlooked. Even the server said sarcastically, "I know, pretty impressive, right ?" when she placed the plate on the table. I guess I should be appreciative that I found a grilled shrimp in my potatoes. It was like the prize in a box of stale Cracker Jacks. Good thing I don't have a shellfish allergy. I am happy to pay a premium for a superior dining experience - elevated service and food quality. This was simply terrible value for a commodity breakfast. Waffle House has equal or better quality at a fraction of the price. At least First Watch gives you a pancake as large as the plate! I'm rarely this critical, but this was so disappointing. The pumpkin crunch waffle was delicious!! Looks nothing like the photo but the taste was a 10/10. The eggs and bacon were also cooked perfectly. We came in on a Saturday, it was very busy so be sure to call or book in advance. Our server was very nice too. The Vanilla cold brew is delicious, but it comes in a smaller mug. The family had not been to a brunch in a while and we thought we would try a familiar spot. I have been here many times before but I think we caught them on a bad day. The service wasn't the problem, it was the food. Our server did everything she could to make it appetizing but it just didn't do it for me. My free beignets weren't even appealing. I also asked for a lightly scrambled egg with cheese and it came back well done each time. I think the problem was they microwaved the cheese on top of the egg instead of just mixing it in. Did I say the service was great?! It definitely was. We will try again in the future because it's usually good but it missed the mark this time. The waitress, Patience, made everything perfect. I've never encountered someone so full of kindness and obliging when we asked for amenities. I made a to go order today and it was just ok. I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken was pretty good albeit it could have used a tad more seasoning. What disappointed me was that they gave Smuckers syrup packs for the waffle. When I go to a restaurant I prefer to get sauces that are more home made or at least appear to be, and packets like this cheapen the experience. The butter packets were also very hard so I couldn't even spread it on the waffle. But perhaps it's all my fault. We wanted to try out a new weekend spot in Easton, and we're aware it would be busy. However, we were not prepared for how right the tables were packed in, it was uncomfortable. Other tables that were seated after us with similar party sizes had there food way before our party of 2. Then my meal came out as the wrong dish (a sausage sandwich instead of the chicken one). It was a quick fix, but I will say even with the correct meal, it completely lacked seasoning. And I did not get the promised pickle the menu states is served with it. The other meal we got was a special and had the same issue, it was blan, and flavorless. Not sure if the kitchen was too busy to handle service or what happened. A few items that made this a disappointing experience: 1. The eggs Benedict wasn't really hot. And while the ham, English muffins and eggs were good, quality ingredients, the sauce was awful, tasted nothing like it should have, so overall the whole dish was a FAIL 2 I thought about ordering the French toast until I read the fine print--also comes with eggs and breakfast meat. Very good brunch spot! Deep South Biscuit was soo good! I was a bit worried about the bacon jam but it gave the savory a good balance with the sweetness without being too much. The BLT tasted like a regular BLT. Only thing is this is a popular spot so a Saturday brunch might have you waiting for a while. Last time I attempted to go I was told it would be a 70 minute wait for 5 people & that was after my friend waited 10 minutes in line to check on the wait. My wife and I stopped by at 10:45 on Presidents Day Upon arrival we placed our name on list to be seated . We waited 15 minutes which we expected.The hostess took us back to a 2 top and noticed it wasn't cleaned which she went and brought back something to clean the table but it was left very wet which she then laid the plastic menus on the table We asked for more napkins so we could dry the table and menus. Lilly and a trainee came to wait on us and brought our coffee and water back in a timely manner. She then stepped away and came back to take our order.My wife ordered pancakes and I ordered chicken and waffles with poached eggs and about 20 minutes a different server brought our food. All the food was Luke warm. Asked for more butter and the butter was rock hard.Should have mentioned everything was not satisfactory. The server never came to ask how everything or we would have mentioned. But did bring our check. We reviewed check and there is a $1.19 "service fee"which must be a 2.5% charge.We have been here 2 other times and had a Goid experience. Came on Friday for brunch with friends and there was a short wait, but we got sat quicker than they estimated. I got a Bloody Mary and my 2 friends shared a carafe of mimosas which was more than they needed. I got the gluten free pancakes- so excited to see this option. I got the gluten free goat cheese lemon pancakes and the were so good! I love that they came with eggs cause I always have a hard time choosing between sweet and savory for breakfast. And since I'm vegetarian, I was able to get a fruit cup though I could've chosen potatoes or grits. It was a tough decision because the grits looked great! My friends both went with Benedict one with a hash brown Benedict, which looked very good and I would like to try in the future and my other friend got the crabcakes Benedict. Had a gap in my schedule and wanted breakfast. This was handy. Easy parking across the street on a weekday; it gets nuts at busy times. Sat at the bar, which is actually a bar, not just a counter- you can get sloshed at 9am, and a few menu items have alcohol in them so watch out. Super service, though they were pretty busy. Lots on the menu looked interesting. Maybe a Benedict next time, and it was hard to bypass the seasonal al pastor Benedict. But they have sausage gravy and biscuits and I love them. Theirs are great: good biscuit, two tasty sausage patties, your choice of eggs, and home fries or grits. I went gritty, and eggs over medium. In my old age I discovered you can ask for that, a bit less runny than over easy. You can ask, but you'll almost never get them. Too many cooks don't know how to do it or don't bother, I guess. They have many options for a boozy brunch (or early breakfast). After coffee, we chose the Champagne Mule pitcher with copper mule cups. Morning cocktails include Bloodies & Bubbles by the glass or pitcher. I did not see a mimosa flight on the menu and Kelsey confirmed they do not offer. It would be great with the different flavors of mimosas on the menu. I downloaded their app ahead of time and received an email offering a free half order of biscuit beignets. They are 4 minis with honey marmalade. They taste great and are filling. They have lots of unique dishes surrounding eggs, pancakes, omelettes, French toast, waffles, etc. I had their Street Corn Scrambler and subbed chorizo for chicken. You can get either grits or potatoes as a side and I got the potatoes. Yum. They started filling up before we left. There is plenty of seating. The ladies' room was clean. We will definitely return. Every time I pass by Another Broken Egg Café, the lines are out the door, so I decided to wait for a weekday and give it a try. On a weekday we were seated right away and we had the nicest server name Ray who made some amazing suggestions and tempted my taste buds with the cinnamon roll French toast. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the right option for you but the fresh berries, sausages, and eggs, balanced it out nicely. Everyone in my party ordered something different, and each plate including the kids plates looked even more appetizing as the next. The restaurant and restrooms were very clean, the servers were great and there's plenty of parking close by. I will definitely return to try more of the amazing choices on this delightful menu. Very busy place! We had added our name to the waitlist on their website, but we technically still had to wait when we go to the restaurant. Bummer! It felt like it didn't make a difference. We must've waited 20-30 min? Maybe even 40min. It's very much like First Watch except there's more on the menu and it's supposed to be influenced by Creole/Cajun cooking. We both got coffee. They had two different blends. It tasted fine. Nothing special but we only got to keep us warm since it was a very cold day. They were slammed! Our server did her best but they were extremely busy. She did give us good suggestions on the menu. I ordered the Mardi Gras omelette, which had crawfish, sausage, and shrimp in it. Very filling and packed with protein! My sister got the Southwest omelette. The food was a generous amount. I struggled to finish. The food is nothing special flavor wise but the extensive menu is a selling point. They also had beignets.
