The pumpkin crunch waffle was delicious!! Looks nothing like the photo but the taste was a 10/10. The eggs and bacon were also cooked perfectly. We came in on a Saturday, it was very busy so be sure to call or book in advance. Our server was very nice too. The Vanilla cold brew is delicious, but it comes in a smaller mug. The family had not been to a brunch in a while and we thought we would try a familiar spot. I have been here many times before but I think we caught them on a bad day. The service wasn't the problem, it was the food. Our server did everything she could to make it appetizing but it just didn't do it for me. My free beignets weren't even appealing. I also asked for a lightly scrambled egg with cheese and it came back well done each time. I think the problem was they microwaved the cheese on top of the egg instead of just mixing it in. Did I say the service was great?! It definitely was. We will try again in the future because it's usually good but it missed the mark this time. What disappointed me was that they gave Smuckers syrup packs for the waffle. We wanted to try out a new weekend spot in Easton, and we're aware it would be busy. We reviewed check and there is a $1.19 "service fee"which must be a 2.5% charge.We have been here 2 other times and had a Goid experience. Very good brunch spot! Deep South Biscuit was soo good! I was a bit worried about the bacon jam but it gave the savory a good balance with the sweetness without being too much. The BLT tasted like a regular BLT. Only thing is this is a popular spot so a Saturday brunch might have you waiting for a while. Last time I attempted to go I was told it would be a 70 minute wait for 5 people & that was after my friend waited 10 minutes in line to check on the wait. Came on Friday for brunch with friends and there was a short wait, but we got sat quicker than they estimated. I got a Bloody Mary and my 2 friends shared a carafe of mimosas which was more than they needed. I got the gluten free pancakes- so excited to see this option. I got the gluten free goat cheese lemon pancakes and the were so good! I love that they came with eggs cause I always have a hard time choosing between sweet and savory for breakfast. And since I'm vegetarian, I was able to get a fruit cup though I could've chosen potatoes or grits. It was a tough decision because the grits looked great! Had a gap in my schedule and wanted breakfast. This was handy. Easy parking across the street on a weekday; it gets nuts at busy times. Sat at the bar, which is actually a bar, not just a counter- you can get sloshed at 9am, and a few menu items have alcohol in them so watch out. Super service, though they were pretty busy. Lots on the menu looked interesting. Maybe a Benedict next time, and it was hard to bypass the seasonal al pastor Benedict. But they have sausage gravy and biscuits and I love them. Theirs are great: good biscuit, two tasty sausage patties, your choice of eggs, and home fries or grits. I went gritty, and eggs over medium. In my old age I discovered you can ask for that, a bit less runny than over easy. You can ask, but you'll almost never get them. Too many cooks don't know how to do it or don't bother, I guess. They have many options for a boozy brunch (or early breakfast). After coffee, we chose the Champagne Mule pitcher with copper mule cups. Morning cocktails include Bloodies & Bubbles by the glass or pitcher. I did not see a mimosa flight on the menu and Kelsey confirmed they do not offer. It would be great with the different flavors of mimosas on the menu. I downloaded their app ahead of time and received an email offering a free half order of biscuit beignets. They are 4 minis with honey marmalade. They taste great and are filling. They have lots of unique dishes surrounding eggs, pancakes, omelettes, French toast, waffles, etc. I had their Street Corn Scrambler and subbed chorizo for chicken. You can get either grits or potatoes as a side and I got the potatoes. Yum. They started filling up before we left. There is plenty of seating. The ladies' room was clean. We will definitely return. Every time I pass by Another Broken Egg Café, the lines are out the door, so I decided to wait for a weekday and give it a try. On a weekday we were seated right away and we had the nicest server name Ray who made some amazing suggestions and tempted my taste buds with the cinnamon roll French toast. If you have a sweet tooth, this is definitely the right option for you but the fresh berries, sausages, and eggs, balanced it out nicely. Everyone in my party ordered something different, and each plate including the kids plates looked even more appetizing as the next. We must've waited 20-30 min? Maybe even 40min. It's very much like First Watch except there's more on the menu and it's supposed to be influenced by Creole/Cajun cooking. We both got coffee. They had two different blends. It tasted fine. Nothing special but we only got to keep us warm since it was a very cold day. They were slammed! Our server did her best but they were extremely busy. She did give us good suggestions on the menu. I ordered the Mardi Gras omelette, which had crawfish, sausage, and shrimp in it. Very filling and packed with protein! My sister got the Southwest omelette. The food was a generous amount. I struggled to finish. The food is nothing special flavor wise but the extensive menu is a selling point. They also had beignets. This was one of the best restaurants I have tried in Columbus. I'm not sure why so many people have left negative reviews. The food heavily draws from Southern cuisine, and it is absolutely incredible. The server we had recommended the Bourbon Street Pancakes but with french toast instead of pancakes, and it was amazing.
