Just-In Time Moving & Storage

For the past decades I've lived in the Valley we've always used Two Men and A Truck when we move…read moreand they do a perfectly fine job. This month we needed someone to do a crosstown move for our son. Two Men's quote was extremely high so I researched a bit and found the stellar reviews of Just-In Time Moving. Since their quote was almost half the price (!) we decided to give them a try. You wonder if paying less means inferior service or other problems. That wasn't the case at all. Communication was great. Eric and Miguel showed up right on time (one of those dreadful 110° Phoenix heat advisory days) and worked quickly and carefully. We were very happy to have found this company and are pleased to say they'll be our local movers going forward.

I hired movers from this company who originally had a 2.0/5.0 rating. I had the worst experience. I…read morewas quoted $415 for a 2 bedroom with one bed, no dressers, the other room was used as an office. I was quoted a minimum of $415 which included 3 hours and a $40 surcharge. First, the owner never sent me a written quote. They were fast; however, one of the movers whose name was Miles, scared me by yelling to the top of his lungs out of frustration because he couldn't get the bed together because he had all of the screws tightened and anyone who puts together anything would know bit to tighten the screws all the way until those screws are in the correct holes and then you screw them in. I went in the room to give him that tip but was scared the entire time he was in my house due to his behavior. Then when they got done, the paperwork showed that I was being charged an extra hour of travel time when my move was less than 15 minutes apart and I was told that they needed to stop at Walmart to get T-shirts. I made the payment in full along with an additional $60 because I just believe in tipping and always have, besides the other guy was excellent. Great customer service and he was friendly the entire time. Any way, I went through the contract after they had left and noticed that there was nothing in the contract that stated that I would owe a 1 hour transportation fee now was I ever told this verbally. So, a day after the move, I sent the owner a message and he proceeded to go back and forth with me. However the most disturbing message was the one below verbatim: "I'm so sorry you're so broke that you can't pay the movers for a move that they did well for you. Send me your address. I'll bring you cash next week. I would love to meet you." This company is way to green and they need to learn some customer service skills before doing business with the public. I wouldn't recommend them at all.

Wow!! Amazing experience from start to finish!! Jeff communicated well about pricing up front and I…read moreasked him to have his guys be early when he gave me a 2 hr window and they arrived 10 minutes early which helped us with our timeline for the move. 3 gentleman arrived worked fast and hard and were very professional and respectful of our belongings. The quote was understood upfront and the pricing was fair! After a previous bad experience with a moving company I would hire Budget Movers again. They were truly 5 stars from start to finish including quote and scheduling!! Thank you!

Sadly, I have to update my previous review, as I had a bad experience with this business, when I…read morerecently tried to utilize their services as a repeat customer. I scheduled a moving appointment with their receptionist (whom must have been new, as I never spoke to her in the past). I explained I only had a few items I needed moved, that I used their services in the past, and she verified the time, day, and price, before our call ended. Well, only two days later, when it was the scheduled move day, I raced around getting prepared to have them arrive, only to then continue waiting for 6 hours. In- between, I kept attempting to call their business, as well as email them, but no answer/ no show. I suppose I should have paid more attention to the other reviews mentioning the same happening to them. I then got a return email a day later from the lady I had spoken to, saying that I didn't "sign" the estimate. What? Nothing was said about "signing an estimate", it was already agreed to over the phone. It makes me sad to leave anything negative in a review for this company, but this was unfair that I had a whole day wasted simply because the receptionist wanted an email confirmation. Seems really strange to me, and was never anything they had me do the past two times I had used their services. I hope they will reconsider how things are being scheduled.

This is the second time I used them! They moved me from Goodyear to Yuma and back again! If you…read moreever use them ( Which I strongly recommend) ask for movers Brandon O. And Justin! This is a family owned business and Mel is the mother and takes all the reservations! Now for the actually work... they don't mess around. They had all my stuff in the truck in about an hour and had it all unloaded in the same time! They were very professional and respectful and even when I was making statements like "I don't care if you break it to move it, just move it".... they would politely say "Well, I care if it's broken so we won't be doing any of that"!! Pure class act!! I am a tuff customer and they are the BEST OF THE BEST..., THANK YOU MEL, Brandon and Justin..... you are the very best in the game!!! Look forward to working with you guys soon!!!!

DO NOT HIRE - Completely Unprofessional, Untrustworthy, and Disrespectful…read more Our experience with Arizona Moving and More, owned by Melissa Ramirez and operated alongside her son Brando, was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This company is the textbook example of how NOT to run a business. We hired them to move us from one two-bedroom apartment to another on December 31. It was a straightforward job that should have taken 4-5 hours max. Instead, due to their poor planning, lack of professionalism, and inefficiency, it dragged on for 12 hours. That's triple the expected time -- and triple the cost and stress. The crew was clearly untrained and careless, resulting in significant damage to our property. They broke our glass bar table and completely ruined a brand-new Anthropologie entertainment center worth over $3,000. These weren't minor scuffs -- these pieces were damaged beyond repair. When I tried to discuss the issue with Melissa, she constantly talked over me, refused to listen, and offered zero solutions. She repeatedly referenced her supposed "corporate experience," yet demonstrated no professionalism, empathy, or accountability. Her tone was rude, dismissive, and completely inappropriate for someone running a service-based business. She filed an insurance claim and told us we'd be compensated $0.20 per pound -- a ridiculous and insulting amount that came out to $33 total. That's their idea of fixing over $3,000 in damage? That's not just bad customer service -- it's predatory business behavior. Brando, her son and co-owner, initially sounded more reasonable. He acknowledged they had dropped the ball and promised to "make things right." He then proceeded to ignore all follow-up communication, never returned a single call, and completely disappeared from the conversation. To add insult to injury, we then started receiving calls from their own employees, who told us they hadn't been paid and were asking us for money. That's right -- the movers claimed they weren't compensated and reached out to us directly, putting us in the middle of what is clearly a mismanaged and unprofessional operation. Then came the double charge. They charged us twice for the same move. When we raised the issue, we got nowhere. And now Melissa is recording our phone calls without any resolution being provided -- just more avoidance and attitude. To summarize: Took 12 hours to complete a 4-hour move Damaged expensive furniture beyond repair Offered an insulting $33 in compensation Failed to follow up or make it right Had unpaid employees call us for money Double charged for the same service Owner is rude, unprofessional, and completely dismissive This company is not reputable, not responsive, and not to be trusted. Do yourself a favor -- hire anyone else. Arizona Moving and More will take your money, damage your property, and leave you with nothing but frustration and regret. They are running a scam with a smile. Avoid at all costs.
