Best/easiest move ever, at a reasonable price! Our move was local. From a condo in Phoenix to a house in Sun Lakes. Within the last year we had moved to a new condo in Seattle and we were still wearing the battle scars from packing and unpacking ourselves. So we decided to hire PWB to do it all. (They were recommended by a friend). We contacted them in Sept and planned for an October move. They were very helpful and very patient fielding all our questions. On Tuesday Oct 22 they came in and packed everything. On Wednesday they moved it all. And on Thursday they unpacked. It was fantastic! We had the same 4 experienced movers each day. They worked hard, were organized, and knew what they were doing. They were also very courteous and fun to work with. They each took an area of the condo so they packed and unpacked the same boxes which reduced the number of 'where does this go' questions to a minimum. All we did for prep was to go through the condo and purge as much as we could. Each day they came in at 8 am and were done between noon and 2. By Thursday afternoon our house was all setup. We hung our pictures and artwork on Friday and had guests on Friday afternoon. I give my highest recommendation to PWB movers. read more

WOW! I've moved several times in the Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Moving is one of those most stressful experiences in one's life. I called PWB with some hesitation because I received a mail in flyer with a discount. I have to say that this move went seemingly. Not 1 hiccup. John and Steve arrived at the time expected, surveyed the entire home and started right away. They took very good care of every piece of my property, they were respectful, punctual, professional, kind and thorough. They disassembled and reassembled items with care. I got a good rate, movers were professional and kept great communication through the move. They were fast and efficient. I had to move from a third floor apartment to a two story townhouse with a winding staircase and in the Arizona heat they had their work cut out for them. I had a couple large furniture items and lots of stairs! They disassembled and reassembled my furniture for me as well and wrapped everything nicely. I'd say these guys worked really hard and did a great job. I don't think any move goes perfectly. Any small issues I had were communicated and there was accountability. PWB did a great job with our move across town. I couldn't be more pleased with how the whole move went. From the very beginning, my quote was comprehensive and accurate with regard to the size of trucks we would need. We were only moving 45 minutes away, but we were recommended to get two trucks to save us from the time of taking two trips. It turned out to be absolutely correct. We were scheduled to have 6 guys, but only 5 showed up. It was fine though because my rate was adjusted accordingly and the 5 gentlemen that were here completed the task efficiently. We were scheduled for an 8-hour day to load the trucks, travel to the new home, and unload the trucks. The guys did it in 5.5 hours and saved us quite a bit of money. The entire day went extremely smooth without any hiccups or issues. All the workers were polite, friendly, knowledgeable, efficient, and worked well together. They disassembled and reassembled all the beds and furniture and placed everything how we wanted it, so we didn't have to rearrange any furniture after they left. I only had to find my box of bedding that I marked special, make my bed, and crawl in for a good night's sleep after a long day. Moving, and everything it entails, is a stressful endeavor. I called PWB 7am on a Monday morning because I simply could not unload a truck that was packed the day before. I didn't expect Devon to come to the rescue but he did. His crew unloaded a 26' moving van that was stuffed to the roof and back door within a 2 hour notice. His rate was great! I was even planning on renting an additional storage unit but his crew said we can make it fit into 1 unit. That saves an additional $250/month. Awesome job! read more

We used one of Devin's 3 man crews to move our furniture into our new home. Wow, the damage done to our furniture and the front door jam at our brand new home, is upsetting to say the least. The men were all nice and courteous, however were not cautious when handling our furniture. I immediately texted Devin to let him know about the damage and how unhappy we were with the condition of not just one piece of furniture, but several along with damage to the front door jam. Its now 4 days later and Devin has not responded to my text. I strongly discourage anyone using PWB if you care about the condition of your furniture. read more

I called this company pretty much at the last minute, because you know how moving goes. Friends say that they will help and then back out at the last minute.Yes, I knew that, but it happened anyway. So here I am due to move sometime in the next few days because February is a short month with no movers! Yikes. I checked out several movers and found PWB Moving and at the same time had a coupon come in the mail. After reading good reviews, I gave them a call. I spoke with Devin, the owner. He had to call me back - and he did when he said he would. We discussed over the phone, and he gave an estimate but then suggested it would be better to come out and see for himself the next day. He called me and gave me about 15 minutes warning which was great, and showed up at my door wearing a face mask (Thank You). He said they follow all CDC precautions, and that was good enough for me. Unfortunately, after looking around, he said it would take more time than he thought. He wanted to start much earlier. I said I couldn't do that, due to a medical condition. He suggested that he could make some calls and see if he could find someone else. He actually did call me back, a little while later and told me that I would get a call from the owner of a different company, and that they had time in their schedule. The other company did call and got things set up, but the point is that Devin from PWB Moving was not only professional, but I feel went above and beyond what was needed. He didn't have to spend his time trying to find an alternative for me, but he did. He could have started yelling and screaming, that he came out for nothing. He didn't. He came when he said he would after already speaking to me on the phone, followed the procedures for Covid with no problem and tried to find other solutions as well that might work. If I had more time, I would have used them in a minute, and suggest that you not hesitate in giving them a call, even though I didn't get to actually use their services. They damaged my new laminate floor and they would not pay to have it repaired. Devin Ongman the owner was one of the two movers and he said his insurance would not cover the damage and now it has cost $900 to repair. Only use a bonded and insured company! They were very polite though. read more
