I would like to clarify something: My retired mother was willing to help me out because I was at work. She was honest and said she signed the paperwork at the end of the move without checking the tv. She does not know much about electronics (I help her out with her electronic needs) and did not know how to set up a 4K tv. She spent the day generously straightening up my new place. When I got to my new residence from work I plugged in the tv and noticed it had been broken. Also I have not made contact with the company because I was informed they would not be reimbursing me for the tv and I did not want to be accused of harassing them. read more

We hired Frontier to unload our truck after a long distance move. The experience was good overall, but with a few kinks. On the good, the guys were super friendly and hard working. They really did a stellar job unloading and up the stairs to the third floor in the unforgiving heat. They did get items where they were supposed to be, always asking where things went. We had a lot of stuff, and the truck was loaded pretty tight on the front end. I felt that at the end things got a little rushed, and there were a few things that got overlooked. Initially, I had been told that they would put together the bed and frame, but after they left, I discovered everything was left unassembled with the mattress still wrapped in plastic. I am not sure what happened, but I would have liked better communication.In that vein, I had given my phone number and a backup number to the company, and they had both numbers wrong and couldn't reach me. (The email was correct--I double checked.) The price was fair, although almost twice what we paid for the load, but that was in another city and by a different company. All in all, I would not hesitate to use the company again, even though the process wasn't entirely smooth. After all, what is when it comes to moving? read more

The guys were great - very friendly and helpful. I moved from a shipping unit/pod facility to Scottsdale. They arrived to the location on time and worked efficiently. They took care with my things. Pricing was very straightforward and there were no strange flat-screen or stair fees. If only I had been able to hire them for my move in Chicago....needless to say I'd hire them again in AZ. Also, I had no trouble with customer service. I called to make my appointment and the woman who took it was very nice professional. She called the day before the move to confirm and check my contact information and I also received a confirmation email after booking. read more

Beware using technology like websites and email with this company!!! I would say you should call, or maybe send a carrier pigeon or something that they can handle better than today's advanced technology. Unfortunately I never got to find out how they were in an actual move because there were 2 different times when they supposedly didn't get what I submitted (both via the website and through email.) I ended up moving my furniture in near record breaking Phoenix heat with the help of my parents who are in their 60's because they couldn't manage to set up a move for me. My recommendation would be to make sure you either do things by phone to confirm that they have in fact received the information you have attempted to send, or to ask for a return email to verify receipt of your message. If you haven't heard back in a few hours, send another one and another until they respond. The first issue was with the website. I filled out the "Inventory Form" and hit "Submit". It then kicked me back to the company's home page, so I figured that was what it does when the form is submitted. I waited and waited. Several days later I emailed Lynette asking what the status was. She said she never received it. Awesome. Evidently the website didn't work properly, but there was no indication of that to me. So...if you hit submit, just know that you should get some kind of notification. I did it again and it worked. Gave me sort of a summary of what I sent so I could keep a record. That's nice, but when it doesn't work, there's no way to know that it didn't work. The second issue was through email. I was back and forth a couple times with Lynette after the first issue, so I knew she normally responded promptly. I emailed to confirm that I wanted to schedule the move as quoted and asked at the end what my next step would be. Didn't hear back for a couple days. So I emailed again to ask about the status and again...she says she never got it. Well...it was sent via "Reply" on my side to an email that she sent me. It's in my stream of emails and shows that it went through so I don't know what happened to it on her end. What I DO know is that by the time I emailed to inquire, they had booked up the time that had been quoted to me and she said she didn't have any dates available until a week after I have to be out of my place. She did add that she could do July 4th weekend but it would be at a higher holiday rate. I have to be out by June 30th, so even at a higher rate, I couldn't even consider that. You would think that maybe if you gave out a quote and hadn't heard back from the customer, before you book up the time slot you quoted for, you might call them and ask if they still needed it? That might be a great time to find out that you aren't getting emails that customers are sending for whatever reason. But I guess that would take 2 minutes so I guess that's an absurd idea on my part. Yeah...just book the time to someone else. The person who filled out the entire inventory sheet and did all the steps up to the part where you confirm and request a credit card number...that 34 year old chick who lives alone probably doesn't really neeeeed a mover. Maybe she was just throwing the idea around and changed her mind...decided to move her own furniture by herself in 115 degree temperatures. That's probably it. All those good reviews are nice. I wish I would've gotten to find out what a great job the movers could do, but due to more than one clerical error I didn't get to the actual moving phase with them. read more

Great work! We chose the hourly rate and put these fellas to work, orchestrating 5 different stops with two patio sets, two dining room sets, a bed, and two china hutches was no small feat. They worked quickly, were strong, and packed everything very efficiently, nothing was broken and they took care of details like glass tops, shelving, drawers, and doors, very thoughtful. Great flat rate price that beat another moving company by about $600! Price was based on an inventory sheet we filled out. It might have helped that they are located out of Peoria, as are we, but even with that helping the price, I still feel they would have beat the other company's price. I also was pleasantly surprised when I was able to schedule them on about a 5-7 day notice for a Sunday move! Let me tell you, Don and Tom were amazing movers! Show up time was scheduled between 8:00 and 10:00am. They called around 7:30 saying they were on their way. We found out when they arrived, they got a screw in one of their tires, but still managed to work around it, so they wouldn't be late for our move. They were POLITE, FRIENDLY, and so PROFESSIONAL. Always addressing us as Ma'am and Sir, cracking jokes, singing while they worked, and communicating effectively about any and all challenges with the moving process. They were extremely careful with our furniture, and we had some very heavy furniture to move out of a 2 story home. They also moved very, very fast...no lounging around. They take credit cards, but not American Express. Hire this company! You won't regret your decision! read more

Frontier Apartment Movers moved me out of my one bedroom apartment on the third floor yesterday and into a different two bedroom apartment down the street. Our entire experience was nothing but excellent. Both of the guys worked really hard from start to finish, even with having to go up and down three flights of stairs with each trip. They were very courteous and went out of their way to even help us reassemble some of my furniture. Nothing was damaged, and I was really surprised at how quickly they got everything done. The price really is unbeatable, the cheapest hourly rate I had found by almost $40/hour. I would highly recommend these guys. read more

What can I say that hasn't already been said about these guys? I've never hired movers before and due to my work schedule and moving to a 3 floor apartment in July, there was no way I was going to be able to move myself and I couldn't in good conscience ask my friends. Making the reservation was easy. The whole process was explained and I was confident in what to expect. The hourly rate sounded like the best option. Thomas and the other guy (can't remember his name, sorry, I think it was Don) were on time, courteous and professional. You would think that with the hourly rate they would take their time, nope, they work FAST!!! They were very efficient and exceptionally careful. I appreciated when they would point out scratches or dings in my furniture. I know some people may not see this as a plus, but I appreciated that they care about the potential to damage things during the move and I recognize that this is a liability for them. It keeps them honest, but it also protects them. There were some things that I didn't want to pack or have moved by a stranger so I spent the morning loading and unloading my vehicle. Throughout the morning, they both reminded me to drink water (it was hot!) and at one point, gave me some of the ice cold water from their cooler when mine ran out. I never had to ask, they just did it. They were so friendly and nice that it actually felt like I had friends moving me, not strangers. I will use this company again!! read more

I requested 2 Men and a Truck. The guys showed up on time minutes before billing time. Which allowed me to show them what needed to be moved before they made their game plan for an efficient move. The driver even suggested certain moves that would be cost efficient. They moved our 2 bedroom apartment in 3 hours. The carpet covered tall dollies are impressive. The ability to move HEAVY furniture without damage one mover at a time was impressive with no padding needed was impressive. They wasted no time, told stories to each other while moving our stuff. You would have never known they were struggling at any time. While I and the driver were settling the bill, I said, "I am way out of shape, you guys have been humping our stuff non stop, and I am dying here." He laughed and said," I have been doing this for 20 yrs." I would definitely suggest ANYONE to HIRE these guys! After you sign the receipt you get a free pen too! Frontier movers executed a perfect move for my family. We were moving from a two-story 5,200 sq ft home to a 5,800 single-story. Lynette was able to get me a crew of 8 men who showed up and flat out went to work. Don was our foreman and has great soft skills as well as the ability to manage his crew. These folks packed and moved for 19 hours straight. They knew how important it was to me to have a 1-day move and I didn't hear a single complaint as we worked until the wee hours, relocating my family.
