O...M...G... I just randomly picked this moving company off of Google and MAN, I struck GOLD. Not only are they located 5 minutes from my new home (which saved me money from their transport,) but they were 100% familiar with my new complex. Plus, they promised three movers, but produced four so they could get it done in time for their next big move. Each and every one of the four gentlemen were EXCELLENT, professional, funny and most of all FAST & EFFIECENT. They took inventory of my belongings online and estimated between 2-3 hours max. This would save me a bunch of money as the last movers I hired took 5 hours for the same amount of stuff and cost me 2x as much. They got it ALL done in 2 hours and 45 minutes'ish. And that included a LONG trek once they reached my final destination. I moved from a Floor 1 apartment in Glendale, AZ that they could drive almost right up to, to a 3rd floor apartment in Tempe, AZ and the service elevator was WAY far from my new apartment. I was blown away on how speedy and well-equipped they were. I simply CANNOT recommend this company enough. They were so friendly, have high standards, great drive, personable, trustworthy and never judged me, a male, for not being able to move myself - which I have encountered in the past when I had roadside assistance change my tire. (I have a very bad back and get enormously winded & sweat profusely after 5 minutes of activity, which is why I have to hire movers/roadside assistance.) They were so caring with someone like me who couldn't do this myself. PLEASE, I implore you, hire these guys. Steve and his team were very friendly and extremely efficient. They helped us move large/heavy items along with a lot of other miscellaneous items and some other storage items. They saved my brother and I so much time and it was definitely worth it. They were also cheaper than any other moving company that we called. We needed a 300 pound item moved up a flight of stairs and the team at ARMS gave us a very reasonable quote that was cheaper than many other movers in the Valley area. Hidden charges!!... It isn't my first rodeo moving... I am very disappointed with this moving company and will avoid using or referring to this company. I moved from a storage unit into a one-bedroom apartment and paid just as much on a small move, as I would a larger move. The lady I scheduled the move over the phone with stated that the travel charge is included in the total. The lead mover obviously does what they want or plays dumb. The lady that scheduled the move stated that the movers could put my bed together. If the movers had not wasted time 30 minutes waiting up front at storage instead of calling me that we were at storage. Then the movers went to the wrong apartment complex and started unloading, the lead mover did not call me, I ended up calling him. How could they get lost when they were following us driving in a caravan of three different cars? I found out they were at the complex before mine. The movers had unloaded my items and had to pack them back onto the truck. After moving my few items in my one-bedroom apartment and starting to put my bed rails and headboard together, decided it was too complex; not to mention the 2 hours or less it should only take for a small move, the time was going to go over 2 hours. So, the movers left me hanging and backed out putting my bed together, charged me a trip from and back to their company. I mentioned there is no trip charge; the lead mover says take it up with the office, so I paid the bill. I called the next day, and the lady I scheduled my move wasn't there, so I talked to this guy or manager who told me something different from the lady and did not care that I paid them a trip charge, and more than that move was worth. read more

Arms movers on paper was fantastic. Here on yelp I got a timely response and the booking was a breeze. Unfortunately during the move of my one bedroom apartment one of our tv screens was cracked. It was obvious something had happened to the tv because we had used it the night before and it had worked just fine. So naturally I reached out to the owner and let him know what happened. I was told that there was no way it was the movers fault but he would work to help me. I had to kindly disagree. I was told give it 7-10 business days to hear back and the absolute max they would do was half for the tv. It was at maximum a $200 tv and I paid at least $300 for them to move my stuff from Mesa to Tempe. I never heard back from the owner Steve. The customer service I received after the move was disappointing. I'm not looking to get my tv reimbursed. I just think it's unprofessional to leave something like that unattended. These guys were so professional and friendly. They made moving from an apartment to a house super easy. They asked where everything went and put boxes where they belonged. They also took apart and build our beds! All of my items arrived with out damage. They were very careful with any item that was fragile! They wrapped the TVs and any glass so it would not be damaged. I have moved six times in my life. Twice across an ocean, twice across the country, and twice within a city. Steve and Zach are the best movers we have ever had. They helped us unload a truck, get all of the furniture and boxes into the house, and helped assemble some furniture for us. They work extremely fast, and their prices are extremely reasonable. They helped me move my things from storage into my new home which is tri-level in April 2018 I was satisfied with this move, however I didn't get the same treatment the second time around. I got absolutely no response from Steve. Then I had to come online to their page to try to reach someone they responded like 6 days later. I am going with Student Helping Hands because they responded within minutes with a quote and the fee is cheaper $55 an hour. Steve was trying to charge me $75 ridiculous! I found ARMS through Yelp and was able to connect with Steve on my first call. He remained extremely responsive throughout and scheduled a move with me quickly. I had a super heavy and bulky treadmill and a grill to move & they graciously disassembled the treadmill when we realized it wouldn't fit through my doorway. Both gentlemen were very careful to keep track of all the screws, bolts, etc. and didn't even charge extra for the surprise disassembly. They were mindful of my home and personal belongings and were great with my dogs being there and as personable as can be. As a solo woman during the move, I felt completely safe and in good hands during the whole process and the price was extremely affordable and fair. 10/10 recommend!
