Active movers were great to work with, efficient and on time, and took care of my furniture well. Ralph did a great job. Thank you and recommend them read more

Ralph did a fantastic job moving my daughter and her roommate this past weekend. I was so grateful that he could considering it was a holiday weekend. He said 8am and he was there ready to go with another guy and they went to work. I felt bad since it was 107 degrees by the time they finished but they just kept at it. I will certainly recommend Active Movers! read more

Called Active Movers and talked with Ralph and told him the day I needed to move my daughter. Set the day and time and was in constant communication as the day got closer (which I really appreciated). Day of the moved I received a call from Dean confirming the address and time scheduled. Both Dean and Devon were fantastic. Very professional, great attitude positive energy during a stressful time, and very efficient. I whole heartedly endorse Active Movers and their moving crew!!!! I will definitely call on them again when needed and I strongly recommend them to others who need their service. If I could give them a Five-Star Plus rating... I would! Mark B. read more

They were not only on time, they were waiting for me when I arrived at the storage unit...love it! I used them to unload a storage unit and pack up a U Haul. They took care, wrapped things that needed wrapping, were friendly and courteous. They were prepared, had blankets, lifts, Hand trucks, plastic wrap...everything needed. I would certainly use then again. read more

I highly recommend this company to move. I needed a futon, weight bench, and Queen size bed moved from downtown Phoenix to Avondale. The owner Ralph gave me 2 choices; he could send 2 guys and a moving truck, or he and I could load his truck. I chose the cheaper option which was him and I move the items. He texted me the night before I moved to confirm and he showed up 15 minutes early the next day. He also brought another guy with him so I didn't have to help with the move like we originally planned. Furthermore I had a small entertainment center that I couldn't fit in my Honda civic and the actual bar for my weight bench couldn't fit in my car safely either. I asked Ralph if we can move those 2 additional items and he was cool with it. My 5 items made it safely to my new residence. And they placed the items where I needed them to be placed. I didn't lift much of a finger during the entire process. I highly recommend these guys read more

Ralph is the best!!! I called him with a last minute move we needed for lots of office furniture, he was quick to respond and accommodated our crazy time schedule!! My husband and I are so very thankful!! We highly recommend him to all who need moving services! Thanks again Ralph!! read more

OMG!!! These guys rocked & rolled and got-r-done with such positive attitudes, smiling & laughing w/ us for 6 hours. Treated my 83 yr old mom like a queen, as she watched her home of 22 yrs. disappear from a 3 bedrm, 2 bath, two-story condo into her new digs, which required an elevator. Remington led a crew of three w/ kindness, humor & patience. He would set out chairs for us sit & rest & say," let us do the heavy lifting, it's what you paid for". By the time the move was finished, we felt like we made new friends! It was a fantastic experience. Hire this company, prompt! A++++++ Best, Lisa & Dale read more

I needed a last minute move and the team was more than willing to help! They were VERY efficient, worked hard, and were extremely respectful with my belongings. They put together my bed, my desk, my couch and were asking input on where to put my belongings throughout the move. If a screw was loose, they were on top of tightening it. I would HIGHLY recommend this team of movers! They were amazing!! read more

Used Active Movers to move a piano I purchased. Ralph arrived early and waited as the original owners were late for the pickup. We're very careful in loading and securing the piano. Seamlessly moved it into the place in my home. Thought his price was very reasonable after checking out other movers. Would highly recommend. read more

We moved from California to Arizona and the guys we originally booked to help us unload the truck flaked on us. Called Ralph and he said he would be here in about one hour. He was a life saver. Great service and he was very friendly. Unloaded the truck super fast. Thank you so much!! read more

I had Active Movers do a move of 2 bedrooms, kitchen, living and dining rooms plus outdoor furniture all of which had to fit in a one car garage. They safely fit it all in like a jigsaw puzzle. I would highly recommend them for any move. Plus their rates are the best! read more

Great team was sent and they did a great job. It took longer than I thought since I underestimated the amount of items we had. Overall, best pricing in the Valley and you can count on a quick and efficient moving team. Will recommend to others. read more

Overall the service was great (according to my parents) I wasn't there because I was working during the move. But according to my parents the two workers were nice, friendly & very attentive. The only hick up I had was towards the end when it came time to pay. I was charge for 3hr even thou they they took 2 & 20 minutes. According to Ralph they don't pro-rate the hour...which if I would have been told from the start I wouldn't have had an issue. BUT....overall I would recommend this moving company. read more

Sorry I'm so late on this but I had these guys help me move back in July and they were awesome!! No hidden fees or sketchy vibes. Just honest, hard working men. I definitely saved their number in case I need to move again and I have let family and friends know about them as well. Call them! You won't regret it. read more

Really could not have asked for a better move experience, from start to finish! Moving while one of our family members is having some health challenges left me with quite a few worries. Ralph's professional and reassuring demeanor in handling my quote definitely built confidence. Appreciated his availability for answering a few questions up until move day. I'm a detail person that likes everything in writing (including quotes!), and took a leap of faith based on Yelp reviews, and my gut feeling in working with him by phone. This is one of those times that the trust factor really paid off. We had a four man team that showed up on time as promised, and they absolutely worked their tails off. These guys were well organized, strong, mindful of the time and respectful of both us and our belongings. Sincerely appreciate Remington, Brandis, Simon and our mover #4 (apologies, I can't remember everyone's names, but #4 was a rock star too!). You guys were incredible and really made this the best move we have had. Not a single item was broken, and we made the move in record time - loading/unloading two trucks in 5 hours. Amazing. No hidden fees, all charges were reasonable and as expected (including the gas fee per truck, and credit card fee). Thank you so much for all of your hard work and easing all of my moving day worries! read more

The guys who helped us move were very nice. But they decided to stop for gas when they were going to my new house. And decided to count stopping for gas within our move part of the hour we were charged. In the price we paid for gas ahead of time and should have been full before the trip. Customers beware and discuss anything gas related and when it can be done. Putting in gas shouldn't be done during move at all. read more

We chose to go with this company for our short distance move a couple of weeks ago & so so glad that we did! First off Ralph was definitely old school yet strictly professional, he returned my calls promptly & gave me an honest, reasonable quote without trying to rob me like some of these other companies!! I wanted guys that were going to bust ass moving us & not taking their sweet time cuz they're afraid to break a sweat cuz it might mess up their hairstyle!! This company sent us Remington & his "Olympian" partner for our move which they kicked butt with our move & we were more then pleased that we tipped them nicely afterwards. Thanks Ralph, you definitely got a diamond in the rough & I'll recommend your company any time or day!! read more

We contacted Ralph via Yelp to get pricing on a local (10 mile) move. They came in with the best price of the five we contacted. Two movers showed up early and immediately began work. We did most of the packing and had moved most of the boxes do all that remained was furniture and appliances. The guys were quick but slowed a little as fatigue must have set in toward the end if the move. The final price was under what we budgeted so that was a blessing. We'd suggest laying down carpet protection before they start as there was little regard or care taken to keep from tracking dirt on freshly cleaned carpet. Two broken legs, one on an older faux grandfather clock and a wheel off a BBQ grill. Neither was brought to our attention but were insignificant because they were old. Our dresser was wrapped tightly to prevent the drawers from opening but the mover then loaded it on to the dolly upside down! Fortunately there wasn't more in it. We had them drop most of the furniture in the living room because we weren't sure how to arrange it. They did place other rooms where we asked. Our 3 bedroom house took about 5 hours which is what we expected. read more

I called Monday to get help with a office move out. They scheduled for Thursday 8AM. They told me 2 men 2 hours $195. they were a NO-show by around 11 AM I called to ask where they were? The guy that answered the phone said he would find out what happened and get back to me, He never did. To say the least I would not recommend them. Super frustrating when you're preparing for your move and it doesn't happen. Do yourself a favor call another company!!! read more

Today I had Active Movers move my possessions from a Storage shed in Glendale across town. What a great company to deal with. The owner Ralph Rivera is a professional guy with a Great personality. He was friendly and courteous and right on time for our appointment. Ralph and his partner made short order loading everything carefully including my big screen tv. Everything made it and nothing broke! These guys asked where they could put everything that came in saving me lots of time sorting boxes. They're easy to talk with and when I saw the bill I thought what a great deal! Very fair price. It was a pleasure to meet Ralph and his partner, hard working local business guys that really deliver for everything they had to move. I would recommend this company to anyone the needs local moving a a fair price. Thanks Guys you really made my day! read more

My husband and I had an EXCELLENT experience with this moving company. We had scheduled another company who ended up not showing up and never returning our phone call. Ralph to the rescue! Not only did we receive the upmost professional and courteous service but Ralph himself showed up. Both he and Miguel were incredibly friendly and were able to move our items quickly and affordably. We will be using him and his company in the future and will continue to refer him to friends and family! Thanks Ralph!!! read more

I was moving from TN to AZ. I did a yelp search and found Active Movers. I called and spoke to Ralph. From the very first conversation, he was wonderful to work with. Moving from out of state is stressful, and Ralph helped ease that stress. He put up with all of my phone calls and texts, and never made me feel like I was bothering him. Ralphs price is right and his work is fantastic. Once we got all of my stuff in to the house, we realized that I had the wrong connection for my dryer. His assistant Carlos offered to go to Home Depot and get the correct parts and install it for me. His price was excellent for this as well. They were wonderful and I would highly recommend them for all of your moving needs! read more

I did call you Ralph and let you know i thought the movers got lost. You sent me a text with a number for a guy that was not on the job that day.. Also we both left at the same time to go to the new place.. The guys did do a good job but i think as a owner you should of been calling when i told you that i thought they got lost. You also should of known who was working for you that day. read more

Ralph and his team were awesome. Showed up a few minutes early and got the move done fast. We will definitely be using them again in the future. If you need movers...hire them, you won't regret it! read more

I needed to move on a Sunday and Ralph and his team were able to accomodate me. Showed up on time (actually were early) and ready to go. Started right away and kept going until finished. No breaks and no down time. Super friendly and hard working. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone needing movers. Great job and thank you!!! read more

I wish I could give zero stars. They called at the last minute (as in 28 minutes before they were supposed to show up) to tell me they would be late and may be sending someone else; I should get a call from another company shortly. An hour goes by, nothing. I call back. Still nothing from this other company until we called the owner an hour later. So now I've been pawned off on a different company I know nothing about, who couldn't even be bothered to call me, and Active Movers is ignoring our calls. No offer of a discount. Nothing to make this right. Just "sorry but we sent the job to someone else so it's out of our hands now". Extremely poor service. I will never, ever use or recommend this company again. Edit: come to find out, the company they "use all the time" (to farm out jobs it appears they just didn't want) has TERRIBLE reviews and an F rating with BBB. Why? Well it may have a lot to do with their shady business practices. They finished, told us the amount due, and we paid. 30 minutes later their owner is calling us to hassle us for more money. Two hours after we squared that away he's calling, yet again, because he wants his payment in a different format. This has been the absolute worst experience I've ever had moving, and the person responsible for this entire mess? Ralph of Active Movers. What a sh*tty thing to do - to accept a job, cancel at the minute, and then pawn your customer off on what is clearly a very questionable moving service. Way to go on the old bait and switch Active Movers. Clearly your 4.8 stars are google are NOT well deserved since you appear to be in the practice of pawning customers off on a company with 1.8 stars that harass people for more money after they've already left and been paid. read more

Had them to move my baby grand piano and they did a good job with fairly price. I will strong recommend for anyone that want to moving cause these people are the greatest. read more

Moved to AZ a little over a month ago and the movers I had originally hired to help unpack everything flaked out on me at the last minute. I called Active Movers and they were able to save the day!! Owner called a few of his guys to see if they could help me out of a jam and fortunately said yes! They showed up on time and had a 26' truck unloaded in less than 2 hours! Will definitely spread the good word and refer them anywhere I can. You won't be sorry going with them, they are fast and efficient! read more

We used Active Movers for our move from Phoenix to Palm Springs. They did an exceptional job. Their movers were fast, careful, courteous and completely professional. We have a lot of artwork and fragile items, large and small, and all was delivered without a scratch. The same team loaded our belongings, drove the items, and unloaded at our new home and office. We were struck by how they truly took ownership of doing everything carefully and correctly from start to finish. I've worked with a number of national moving companies over the years, and Active Movers provided the best moving experience we've had. They truly exceeded expectations. read more

Very happy with Active Movers. If you are looking for a moving company, stop and just contact Ralph with Active Movers. Highly recommended. Ralph was great with the communication. Answered all my questions quickly. Came to the house and did an estimate that sounded fair. He confirmed the night before with a phone call. The guys (3) showed up when they said they would and got right to work. Quickly packing up my 4 bedroom home, taking care of all our furniture. Covered and wrapped when it hit the truck. Transported and unloaded under two hours of the estimate. If I ever move again, I"m calling them right away. read more

The movers were awesome. Unfortunately I'm bad with names so I don't remember the two gentlemen that helped me but they were great! I moved from a third level apartment and they got everything done fast and professional. One of the best rates in town and the charges were straight forward with no extra crap. I would definitely recommend! read more

We HIGHLY recommend Ralph and Active movers! We sent a yelp request on Saturday afternoon to move next day a 1 bedroom furniture Made of solid wood super heavy. Not only did he fit us in his schedule he had by far the most reasonable price. Arrived shortly after the set time, but Ralph called earlier and made sure we were aware of the delay. Ralph and his mate did a fantastic job. If I ever need movers won't be calling anyone else. read more

They were quick in their response. Gave me an upfront rundown of the costs. I didn't have to spend any time talking to them on the phone as we just set everything up over Yelp messaging! They called the day before to confirm. The day of they came ready to work and were very efficient and quick. The guys were friendly and overall the job was great. I would hire them again. read more

Hmm find it a little odd that there are two different web sites for this same mover. A Active Movers with a 3 star and then Activemovers. If you google on chrome www.azactivemovers.com you get this message The site ahead contains malware Attackers currently on www.azactivemovers.com . Anyway, I hired them 4-20-17 to move one small truck to my new address 5 minutes away...They took 5 hours yes 5 to move one truck . I was charged $415.00. I even gave them an old persons scooter worth at least $1200 that just needed a new battery. (Bet you didn't know this Ralph) The cause was one old man who did nothing just hung around and caused problems. Jose was polite, apologetic and did everything. He was awesome and told me to contact the boss Ralph. Even though this was a bad experience Ralph came through. He was so helpful and apologetic and refunded me money. I know ii's late in my review but I have a life. Would I use them again? Yes because of Ralph. He truly loves his business and will undo any problems you have. He has a good heart and business ethnics. So in conclusion the boss is the boss, he will make it right. Ralph God Bless You read more

The move I had today with Danny, Carlos and Ernie went smooth as silk. These guys never let up and work non-stop. They were friendly and asked questions to make sure they were taking care of my furniture exactly the way I wanted it. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. They will make sure your furniture is well taken care of and protected. I handled the entire set up on email and the crew arrived on time, worked hard and no surprises with regards to pricing. They are A+ read more

Love this moving company. Ralph responded very quickly on the quote and was spot on for the amount of time it would take to move us. Active Movers was also the lowest quote that we received. They made it a very easy process, and took the pain out of our move. Ralph, the owner, was super friendly and accomodating to all of our questions. We also learned a lot about moving by the special care that they provided us. read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! If you can call it that. Had my move schedule for today 9-17-2014, sent conformation email last week and spoke to the clown over the phone. Spoke with another moving company and they said they had to clean up Active Movers mess multiple times Clown that owns the companies name is Ralph and is super unprofessional. read more
