James came out to tune my piano and fix a couple keys that were getting stuck. He was able to fit me in within a week, sent a reminder text a couple days before and arrived right on time. He was very nice, professional and did a great job. There was still an issue with one of the keys he fixed and when I called about it, he was very polite and was able to come out the next day to check on it for free which I really appreciated. I recently had my piano tuned by James. He was prompt in returning my call and making an appointment. He texted me a reminder a couple days before the appointment. He texted the morning of the appointment saying he was running early and if it was convenient for me he could arrive before scheduled the appointment time. James is super friendly. I contacted this group for an appointment to assist me with my grand piano. They responded promptly. My initial request was for a tuning, but then I realized that I needed "voicing". This - "voicing" - is an under-recognized improvement for your piano. Especially if you have purchased a used piano. Once on site, James was very patient with me and carefully voiced and re-voiced and even re-voiced again in order to obtain the proper tonal quality. He did a careful and high quality job and attended to my unique requirements on this grand piano. I wanted it to be bright and crisp for Bach and I wanted it to be full and mellow enough for Beethoven Sonatas (like the Moonlight) - And he was patient enough with me to allow me to test both venues. Not only do they have a combined experience of over 50+ years in tuning and repair, they are also friendly professionals who you know will get your piano sounding great. As a professional musician, it is critical to me to be playing, teaching, and performing on a well-tuned instrument.
