As is the case with sales of this type, the pianos receive a quick tune on-site before the sale, but it is not uncommon at all to require additional servicing after they are delivered to your home. Such was the case with ours when one of the keys began sticking. Leta called me yesterday (Saturday) after receiving an email from the Rockley Foundation, whom I contacted after the key began sticking. Leta was very pleasant to work with. Her concern that we be taken care of was apparent. She dispatched Fred Smith ("Fred The Piano Tuner") that same day. My son-in-law met with Fred and was very impressed at his knowledge, 40+ years of experience and his kind and caring demeanor. He spent a remarkable amount of time with the piano and showed many things to my interested grandsons. We opted for the repair (covered by Rockley - thank you!!) and to have an extensive tuning done on it at our cost. By the end, several keys were "unstuck" and it was brought to "A440" (?). For guitars they carry Fender guitars and Gibson guitars plus Martin guitars and Taylor guitars. Since their HUGE music store is in Mesa and we live in Glendale the best part was we used their online rental service and they had an option to pick up the saxophone rental and violin rental at one of their 23 partner rental stores all over Maricopa County or one of their Educational Representatives could drop it off at the school for us. While I was in town visiting my son, he mentioned that there was a music store not far from us that he'd like to visit. I wasn't prepared for the size of this place-it's far more than just a "music store." He'll be ready to make a purchase soon, so he wants to know for sure which one is just right. If you don't quite know what you're looking for, or need some elevated service, you might find someone, you might not. It's a more laid-back approach to customer service-we had to seek someone out for help. But I suppose I prefer that over an in-your-face sales person trying to close a deal.
