When we went into the store in September 0f 2019, very helpful great help.. then after we leased aCLP 565, they promised us excellent continued servive approximately 2 years later a pencil rolled trhough the crack and now whenwe press it it doesnt sound as it should we called and initially they told us you don't service the piano/ clavinova here; I just tried called again today frustrated no one answered as usual, however the manager did call back and said he has two technicians that "might" be able to look at it. Luckily they were able to pull up our account still. I'm hoping they can come look at the clavinova. This review is long overdue. I rented a piano through My First Piano in January of 2019. The selection process was easy, they answered questions, explained the piano, let me try it out in the showroom, were clear in the rental agreement, etc. I'd planned to do a rent-to-buy arrangement but unexpected financial constraints prevented me from doing so. When I called to have them pick up the piano in June, they weren't judgmental and they completely respected my explanation. I decided to learn piano after playing guitar for 40 years but didn't know If I should start with a digital piano or acoustic. I found My First Piano and stopped by. Nice people with a nice assortment of mostly used pianos. I found out I could rent one for 6 months (acousting or digital) to see how I like it and my rent would apply toward purchase price if I chose to keep it. I felt this was a perfect option for me...who else rents pianos in the valley?? So I brought home a Casio Celviano AP620 digital piano and had it for 6 months. I practiced on it probably 1-2 hours every day. It was a great piano for the price but I decided to return it after the 6 months because a friend had sold me his upright acoustic about the time the 6 months was up. They came by and picked it up...no hassle. I stop by there now and then to check out their inventory because I know I will be upgrading the old piano I bought from my friend soon, and I will most likely get my piano here. read more

Moved from New York and didn't want to move our piano across the country so we decided to try this place for a new one. We were able to rent for six months and the money we paid was used towards purchase. Delivery and set up went smooth. The piano is for our 11year old and he plays it all of the time. They are all good when you are wanting to purchase a piano, however when they delivered ours no books were included as to how to adjust and take care of it. I told them we wanted the books that came with it and they said they would mail them. Never happened. When I paid off the balance they managed to find a couple of books, probably taken from another piano. In the packet was a registration card. Not much use for registration as the numbers do not seem to match. The price was right but the management seemed very inept. The lady who was called the manager kept having to ask the bookkeeper if she was doing things right. read more

The piano I received was substandard and the pedal system was broken the whole two months I had it. When I asked them to come get the piano, they attempted to hard sell me into selecting another, but I did not want another from them. They made me keep the piano for another month's rental until I kept emailing them to come pick the piano up that was in very bad shape. All I have to say is if you rent a piano, be prepared to buy that same piano because they avoid trading or accepting them back. read more
