Next Gen Pianos

What an amazing Yamaha dealership. Once I decided what I wanted to purchase (Yamaha CLP845), I…read morecontacted NextGen Pianos to 'check them out'. Wow! Everyone I spoke with at the store was knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Josh offered a couple of options for purchasing, with one being interest-free financing. And then they told about their free shipping, no state sales tax (for my state) .... and, oh, by the way, how about a FREE set of Yamaha Professional headphones? I live 2 states away from Next Gen Pianos, but delivery was fast and professional. Within 5 calendars after purchase, I was playing my new piano. Considering the great price Josh offered, free shipping, free headphones, and no sales tax, I saved about $800 purchasing from Next Gen Pianos, and both the piano and headphones arrived in perfect condition. And let me add a couple of 'notes' about Yamaha and the CLP845. the quality of the piano (including the packaging) is impeccable. As a 78-year-old piano student, I could tell within a week after purchase that I was learning faster than on my acoustic piano. The CLP845 has scores of features, but two that are helping me immensely are (1) the ability to adjust the tempo on the sample songs, as well as the songs that I upload; and (2) the ability to have the piano play only the left or right-hand music. I can have the piano play the left hand, for example, while I work on difficult passages for the right hand. Alternatively, I can play "on top of" the piano. In other words, let it play the right hand of Pachelbel's Canon (for example), with me trying to play exactly the same thing. I can set the speed at whatever I want; and, if I hear two pianos playing at the same time, then I know I'm not playing correctly. When I cannot hear a 2nd piano playing, I know I'm playing exactly as the piano is playing. What an amazing tool for learners! (p.s., The entire set of "Hanon in All Keys" is already stored on the piano. For those, I play "on top of" the piano, again, trying to play correctly so that I only hear one piano.)

As a long time piano teacher in the Gilbert/Chandler area, I have always highly recommended purchasing pianos from Josh to my new piano students, as Josh is a 5th generation, very knowledgible, dedicated, and trustworthy business person who values in starting students off to a good start with excellent pianos offered in his beautifull piano store. Stilwell Pianos - My Beautiful piano from Stilwell

Stilwell Pianos

I purchased a piano from Stilwell, based solely on the online description and video, and honestly,…read morejust PRAYED it wasn't a scam! It's not! They allowed me to make an offer; worked with me on my price range; and the delivery was pretty good too (they contract deliveries with other companies.) I don't dream of owning "things," typically, but it has been my long-time dream to own a grand piano, and Stilwell made that happen for us!

One word - exquisite…read more I've been playing my whole life and I'm an actively gigging musician. I grew up with a baby grand in my home and planned to purchase my own instrument when I grew up. That day finally came a few years ago at Stilwell Pianos. Acoustic pianos are incredibly complex analog instruments that are sensitive to changes in temperature, moisture, and numerous other factors. Because of this, it's impossible to pick a piano just by brand and model if you're specific about the action (touch) and intonation (sound). For experienced players, you have to play it to know if it's the one. I went to several stores in town. Most were staffed with pushy sales guys trying to land a Steinway sale using every trick in the book to create urgency and assume the sale. This bullshit doesn't fly with me and ruins the journey. I first visited Stilwell at their old location. Michael introduced himself, inquired what I was looking for, and let me explore on my own. No tactics, no pressure selling, etc. It took probably 4 trips over 6ish months before he had the right inventory for what I wanted. The buying process was straightforward from there and they used Max Piano Moving (best guys in town) for transport. Whether you're a seasoned professional or looking for your child's first piano, can't recommend these guys enough.

It felt like a true one-on-one consultative experience in which Jason spent plenty of time demoing different options for us to hear while also providing informative feedback on differences between the models. Further, as a beginner player, Jason also recommended a few good resources to help aid in acceleration of the learning curve via books and local teachers. We ultimately opted for the Kawai KDP120 and are very happy with the purchase in terms of the level of service we received and the sound quality of the piano. AZ Piano prices were also better than any advertised sales online so electing to purchase from AZ Piano felt like a win-win experience. Jason loaded the boxed piano right into the truck for us and setup was a simple process once we got it home. I will be back in the future for any upgrades and would recommend AZ Piano for anyone interested in upgrading their current piano or purchasing their first.

We knew they had the best instrument rental plan in Arizona because they had so many 5 reviews. They carry all the major brass and woodwind brands like Yamaha, Bach, Selmer, Eastman, and Backun. For guitars they carry Fender guitars and Gibson guitars plus Martin guitars and Taylor guitars. Since their HUGE music store is in Mesa and we live in Glendale the best part was we used their online rental service and they had an option to pick up the saxophone rental and violin rental at one of their 23 partner rental stores all over Maricopa County or one of their Educational Representatives could drop it off at the school for us. SUPER CONVENIENT! I highly recommend Milano Music Center !

While I was in town visiting my son, he mentioned that there was a music store not far from us that he'd like to visit. I wasn't prepared for the size of this place-it's far more than just a "music store." He had a gleeful look of awe as he admired the selection of brass instruments and was able to play a few of them too. He'll be ready to make a purchase soon, so he wants to know for sure which one is just right. If you don't quite know what you're looking for, or need some elevated service, you might find someone, you might not. It's a more laid-back approach to customer service-we had to seek someone out for help. But I suppose I prefer that over an in-your-face sales person trying to close a deal.
