I wish I could give this place more stars. Insanely reasonable pricing, insanely fast turn around for an extremely complicated project, and the quality is astronomical. I have never had a better set up on a guitar and the care they took with the modifications of my beloved ESP is amazing. It's not everyday you find a shop with the experience to handle modifications on a several thousand dollar guitar, let alone fit and finish to make it feel like it came from the factory. They made excellent recommendations for some mods I wouldn't have considered and made everything right. Can't wait to drop my other guitars off here. You have a customer for life.

My 2011 Fender Jeff Beck Stratocaster. Nice job guys!

These guys are definitely the BEST in town. I've been looking for a great repair shop for my half a dozen or so guitars and stumbled across this place with my Yelp app. Totally AWESOME! Brought in my brand new American Fender Telecaster for a custom setup and some extra TLC. Dan was working the front and ask me exactly how I wanted it to play and what styles of music I enjoyed. He provided excellent help and really knew his stuff. Picked it up two weeks later and could not believe the difference. I was so excited that I played it for over two hours that night once I got home. Next brought in my American Fender Jeff Beck Artist Stratocaster. This one was setup by yours truly with a very heavy float on the tremolo. John Bronson (the owner) was there at the time and was very excited to see my guitar. We talked quite a bit about the guitar and Jeff Beck's playing style and how crazy it can be to play and keep in tune. He made a few suggestions about the custom setup and said you will be happy. Trust me. Two weeks later I came in to pick it up and again was amazed at the quality of their work and the excitement they got from seeing a happy customer. The tremolo was set perfectly and the neck and action felt fantastic. John was there again and we talked about the large list of celebrities that come in there to get their stuff repaired or worked on. He says this is just one of his hobbies and plays professionally at well. Even gets to be the guitar tech for several popular players when they are in town. These guys go out of their way to treat you just like the big superstars on stage. The large franchise chain stores can sell you stuff but they just have no idea what to do with it. Highly recommend bringing your guitars here for some of the best quality service in town. You will be very pleased as well. SCORE! 5 STARS

Here's the Strat that had blemishes on the 14th fret and a complete tune up!! Great Job boys!

When expertise, professionalism, results, timeliness and knowledge matters...take your equipment here for the absolute very best in maintenance and repair. Dan & John are the consummate road warriors and great to bounce ideas off on new equipment or whatever ails ya!

Thanks to John's setup this guitar plays as good as it looks.

Just sending a shout out to John for the world class set up and repair he did on my Luke III. I've been playing guitars for many years now, but I never realized what a professionally set up guitar can feel like and play like. It's a gift, and John delivered it. Cudos.

I walked off stage 25 years ago and put my 80's ESP Enola gay (number 1 of production) and my #12 of production ESP kamikaze in their case for a long time. Like a dumb ass...I decided to hang them in my living room and basically screwed up the action and balance of the neck. Its been so long since I played out that my guitar repair guy was no where to be found. I tried 3 different repair shops in town that was referred to me by guys still in the scene playing and NONE of them could get it right. John batted it out of the park!!! The guy handed me my guitar and it was perfect in every way. I am very particular about my setup and these guitars are as good as anyone on stage could want. Great work, great guys and john... you have four more to go!!!

A few years ago, BGW replaced the nut on a Pbass that had cracked . It was warranty work, and they did a good just with the setup.

Most solid instrument techs in the state. I've been going to John since it was the Guitar Shoppe. He & his team are the best in town.

Everyone I spoke to was really nice, and I was able to get my flute serviced quickly. The instrument repair person is there on Wednesdays and Saturdays. They did a pretty good job, but definitely didn't polish my flute, which I was kind of disappointed about, especially since I asked it to be thoroughly cleaned (this was also indicated on my service ticket they typed up). I was able to polish it myself after I got it back with a silver polishing cloth that I had to purchase. They have a huge variety of instruments, accessories, and books! It does seem to be more catered to guitars/percussion, but they still had a decent selection for woodwinds and brass. They also have tons of teachers that do private lessons. I will definitely be returning if I need anymore repairs done, as they did a nice job with those!

While I was in town visiting my son, he mentioned that there was a music store not far from us that he'd like to visit. I wasn't prepared for the size of this place-it's far more than just a "music store." He had a gleeful look of awe as he admired the selection of brass instruments and was able to play a few of them too. He'll be ready to make a purchase soon, so he wants to know for sure which one is just right. If you don't quite know what you're looking for, or need some elevated service, you might find someone, you might not. It's a more laid-back approach to customer service-we had to seek someone out for help. But I suppose I prefer that over an in-your-face sales person trying to close a deal.

After placing my online order, the website had an technical issue and failed to create my order at the physical store level. Not only that, but the order disappeared from my account so the only way for an update on the status was to call customer support. I placed the order on a Wednesday, for the next 2 days after placing the order, customer support told me that the order was looking good and not too worry. After waiting all weekend for some update, I still hadn't received an update on Monday. Luckily one customer support agent caught something weird in my order and noticed my order did not get put through to the store. Shane from this location called me and explained the situation, which surprised me since the customer support agent was supposed to call me back with an update. Within minutes I got an update regarding the label being created. Fast forward to Wednesday (1 week after placing the order) no update regarding the shipment. Shane helped verify that the guitar did indeed get picked up by UPS and was on its way. Later in the day I received a message that the guitar was in my area preparing for transfer. Never did I think that an online order would be so complicated, especially in 2026. I called customer support and spoke with a supervisor to express my frustration throughout my experience, and the supervisor repeatedly tried pinning the blame on the store instead of the faulty outdated website. The employees at this location were very respectful and understanding whenever I called, and helped me at every step of the way. Although I had the negative experience with the online side of Guitar Center, this store was a huge pleasure to work with and I really hope they are being compensated properly for their hard work.
