The store is packed with any genre of sheet music and books (and TAB form) for every instrument you can imagine (banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, vocals, guitar, piano, brass instruments, woodwinds, etc all of them). They sell accessories such as guitar strings, tuners, straps, picks, music stands, and some acoustic guitars and banjos as well. Vinyl records and small musical gifts line the walls, it's so fun to explore and each time you visit you'll find something new, as there's so much selection. If there is something they don't have in stock, they will order it for you. The vibe is very relaxed and they are never pushy, you can look around for 30 min alone exploring if you want and just ask if you need anything. Love this place and can't recommend it enough, it's also a vintage store with history dating back to the 1950's so it has such cute charm and decor, it's an experience that online shopping can't give. We had three choices and price points, and I selected the "student" one which was the least expensive, and wow, this instrument sounds so much better and is in great shape! We were in and out of the shop in 20 minutes. The salesperson helping us was knowledgeable and friendly and we were able to find the accessories we needed as well (shoulder rest sponge and rosin). She's been playing it for 3 months with no issues and it doesn't go out of tune quickly like her cheap one. Billing is automatic and easy, with no mistakes. Such a great experience - we'll definitely be back when it's time to upgrade to the next one!

He then told another customer who was trying the drums as well not to play hard because he will break the cymbal. We left. I called customer service to express concern about not being able to try the drums out before purchasing and the customer service rep, Eduardo, told me it's common practice for people to simply look up reviews online and most people don't try drums out first. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. Even called me crazy when I got irritated with him for talking over me so many times. I'm blown away by the experience in the worst way possible. We live in Marana and go to that store often, and bought my sons first drum set there are are always treated so respectfully. We were excited to check out a new store while in Phoenix. Yikes. But she had a concert coming up later in the week, so Mike was able to get it fixed in time for that. It became clear she needed a marching band flute. Mike suggested a used one at a great price. Turns out also the Gemeinhardt was being borrowed from her cousin. So I asked Mike for his recommendation for a concert flute. While my granddaughter is a freshman, she is lead flutist for the high school. Mike said he sold Di Zhao. We did a lot of comparison shopping and testing, but ultimately it was up to my granddaughter, as Mike said, because she knows what she likes in playing and the sound. Most schools recommend Yamaha. My granddaughter decided on the Di Zhao. She got an 801 BEF for a great price. Most importantly I could tell Mike liked musical kids! I watched him interact as they brought their instruments in for repair. I cannot thank him enough for the time, knowledge and courtesy in taking care of three problems for my granddaughter. Plus his pricing is unbelievably fair.
