Benjamin is an amazing music instructor and an equally impressive human being. He has been teaching my son ukulele for several months now, and I could not recommend him more. Benjamin has a love for music and sharing that with his students. My son has made tremendous progress with Benjamin as his teacher. Benjamin holds him accountable and pushes him to be his best for which I am extremely grateful. Benjamin is prompt and communicative, kind and generous of spirit. My son wants to learn the guitar after he makes more progress with the ukulele, so I foresee having Benjamin in our lives for years to come. read more

Ben is a wonderful human being with patients, and knowledge. He by far, surpasses others in the industry! He has been so gracious with our two boys in their music endeavors. Not only does he provide mobile services (which, let's be honest ~ music lessons wouldn't happen in our crazy schedules without this luxurious service) he has knowledge about nearly every instrument. He approaches every lesson in a precise manner insuring foundations, such as music theory and form are JUST as important as the music being made. We'd recommend him a thousand times over. We're so lucky to have such a wonderful, talented, caring individual teach out children the beautiful gift of music. * our kiddos are current receiving lessons for guitar & piano. read more

Benjamin is great!! Only took 3 guitar lessons due to my being too busy on my end. He's very nice and does his best to accommodate your schedule around his. He hustles all over town to go to different peoples lessons, and I admire his hard work and musical knowledge. Plus he's a really nice guy also. Highly recommended. read more

At the time of this review, my dad and I had taken 6 weeks of guitar lessons with Ben. He's an amazing instructor and really drills on making sure we have good form when playing to prevent overstraining our arms/hands causing unnecessary pain. Ben is extremely knowledgeable and able to communicate new concepts in multiple different ways to reinforce learning. I greatly appreciate his patience and friendliness towards my dad (these lessons are mostly for him to pick up guitar again). My dad looks forward to these lessons and that's all I could ask for! read more

I had been meaning to get piano lessons for my oldest for a while and when I found Ben's ad on Yelp I sent him a message. He responded quickly and was able to fit us in at a time which worked perfectly for the both of us. He is very patient with my daughter and she has shown so much improvement over such a short amount of time. I can't believe how quickly she is picking things up and enjoying playing. She constantly makes up new songs throughout the day, adding to them and seems genuinely interested in continuing. He even likes to help her create new music to keep her interested. A much better experience than I had when I was younger. I am so glad we found Ben. read more

We originally chose Ben because of the good reviews and also because he was willing to come to our house for lessons, which is a huge convenience factor for us. Since then, my daughter has been taking lessons with Ben for about a year. She is doing so great- and has learned so much. When our friends hear her play they cannot believe she's only been taking lessons for a year. He's always really positive and encouraging and adapts the lesson to her learning style and music interests. Very early on he also started teaching her to play Für Elise, though it was beyond a new player's skill level but it's such a recognizable song she was really encouraged she could play parts and it helped boost her confidence early on. I'd recommend Ben to someone looking to start to play; he's great. read more

Ben is hands down the best piano teacher my daughter has ever had. He faithfully comes to our home every week, on time and ready to teach. He is patient, extremely knowledgable and kind, and our daughter loves learning the piano because of who he is as a teacher. He got to know her and what motivates her and teaches to her strengths and preferences, as well as holding her accountable to learn the essentials. It is not a "one size fits all" teaching method with Ben. He even takes the time to teach her life lessons. Ben has an amazing musical gift, but more than that, he has a beautiful heart for people and that comes through his teaching. We are so grateful to have found him and cannot recommend him highly enough!! read more

Ben is an extraordinary music teacher! Our son has been taking lessons for 4 years now and when we moved here from Texas last year we had the daunting task of looking for a new teacher. Thanks to Groupon, we met Ben and things have never been better!! He goes above and beyond what I expected from him and my son has improved more in the last 6 months than in all of the years of lessons combined. Ben has a unique but very effective approach that really works for my son and I am so thankful we met him! I hope we don't have to ever change teachers again!!! read more

Ben is awesome! He has so much patience teaching my 13 year old daughter piano. She really looks forward to her lesson every week.

Ben has improved my ukulele playing way beyond my expectations in two months of lessons. He gives a lot of information and tips in his lessons and gives me plenty to practice and study (if I only would) for the next lesson. He's also corrected bad habits I developed 'self teaching' so I will be a better player. His lessons are very enjoyable and he's very encouraging! read more

Ben has been teaching guitar to my son for the past few months and I must say that, it has been great so far. Ben teaches various techniques which I see no other previous guitar instructor has stressed upon earlier and they are must for guitarist in order to develop good habits from the start. He makes sure in every class that my son is playing the guitar with correct form and technique. He's good with kids and makes sure they are comfortable and understanding the instructions. I always tell my son to learn as much as possible from Ben, he's a good teacher and willing to share his knowledge. Recently started piano classes as well for my daughter and so far going great. She's liking them. Definitely recommend if any one wants to learn music from Ben. At least give him a try. read more

Do you remember your favorite music teacher? The teacher that made music interesting and fun. Ben is that teacher. In one lesson he improved my mandolin playing 100%. Benjamin is a very knowledgeable musician and teacher who cares about his students. He employs a variety of teaching methods that best suits the needs of his students and while developing good habits. For example, how to read music and tab, how to properly hold a guitar, and how to play with a pick. He is very patient and recognizes that each student is unique and learns at their own pace. He is committed to his students and his love of music is infectious. I greatly appreciate the support and encouragement he has shown my Mother during her piano lessons at 90. Because of her Parkinson's, she has some physical and mental deficits that impede her progress, but for all that Benjamin joins in with a guitar accompaniment. In addition to studying music, he encourages my Mom's creativity in playing her own music. We greatly look forward to our read more

Ben is an amazing instructor! He has patience, knowledge, and the ability to cater to different learning styles. He has helped our children learn the piano by modifying his instruction method to what fits the child. The students enjoy it because they are able to be successful after 2-3 lessons and play music that is familiar to them. Extra practice is not a chore but enjoyment for them as they refine the skills Ben has taught. Ben is prompt and dependable. read more

I was looking for a new piano teacher for my boys, ages 7 and 11. I found Amazing Mobile Music on Groupon so decided to give it a try. Ben was great during our first lesson, so we hired him to continue instruction for the boys. He emphasizes good technique from the beginning, and incorporates elements of theory every step of the way so his students have a deeper understanding of what they're doing. Placing focus from the beginning on correct technique and breaking of bad habits was very important to me, so when I saw how well he managed this, I was very impressed. He comes to our house, which is an important convenience for us as well. He has at least 15 years of teaching experience so he has honed his own method of teaching to improve and expedite the process to promote both classical training and ability for future improvisation skills. He also teaches a variety of other instruments including guitar, mandolin, drum, bass, and ukulele, so we might add another instrument in the future once the piano skills are more advanced! read more
