I get up early in the morning to make sure we get a spot every time registration opens up. The curriculum is so rich. It is thoughtful, calming, and I can see my son's eyes light up with wonder with every new activity. We've been in class with Miss Jenny and Miss Monica and they are the BEST! Miss Jenny has taught me several parenting tricks like how to sing to my child through transitions, diaper changes, and more. The owners are also organized, responsive, and wonderful communicators. We did try the infant massage class and while my little guy didn't sit still in that class...we took those skills home and actually still use the same massage technique at bedtime. My son looks forward to it. If you have to choose one activity for your child, I'd highly recommend musicology. I wish all parents had access!

I really appreciate the individual customer service I get, like having my favorite picks available or checking into ukulele pick-ups and the offbeat jokel. As a music teacher, I really am impressed with my guitar teacher, Rich; he's amazingly well versed at playing (and teaching) many different genres and I am always inspired to practice more. The store is packed with any genre of sheet music and books (and TAB form) for every instrument you can imagine (banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, vocals, guitar, piano, brass instruments, woodwinds, etc all of them). They sell accessories such as guitar strings, tuners, straps, picks, music stands, and some acoustic guitars and banjos as well. Vinyl records and small musical gifts line the walls, it's so fun to explore and each time you visit you'll find something new, as there's so much selection. If there is something they don't have in stock, they will order it for you. The vibe is very relaxed and they are never pushy, you can look around for 30 min alone exploring if you want and just ask if you need anything. Love this place and can't recommend it enough, it's also a vintage store with history dating back to the 1950's so it has such cute charm and decor, it's an experience that online shopping can't give. I left the guitar with Guitar Gallery and the tech took my guitar off site to his own shop to troubleshoot and try to resolve the issue. After a couple weeks I called and was told he was still working on it but should have it finished soon. Finally I called and was told he was bringing it back over to the store and I could pick it up just before they closed. I picked it up and paid $65 for his time and efforts. He said the static was still present but was perhaps slightly less, and that the static could be coming from the plastic cover plates on the back of the guitar and he said he would make me new replacement covers of a different t material to see if that would alleviate the static. He said he would have them done in about a week. I brought the guitar home and discovered the vibrato trem arm was missing. I called the tech's cell the next day and he never answered or returned messages. I called the shop and they said they didn't know anything about the missing trem arm. After many many attempts I eventually gave up and just ordered a new trem arm from an online shop. I never heard from anyone again about the replacement back plate covers or my missing trem arm. I do not recommend taking a guitar to this shop for any repair. I'm out $65 for attempted repairs, and another $25 to replace the misplaced trem arm myself. Signed...Pissed in Peoria
