Music Together has become a daily routine in our family! We love the in person classes but we also love how they offer online courses during the pandemic. And we watch them everyday! My son is learning the songs, hand motions, and dances all the time. I love the extra videos the classes offer. It's been fun switching up our lullaby songs before bed. He even sings along with me. If you enjoy music and watching your child find the love of music, I highly recommend Music Together!

The store is packed with any genre of sheet music and books (and TAB form) for every instrument you can imagine (banjo, dulcimer, mandolin, vocals, guitar, piano, brass instruments, woodwinds, etc all of them). They sell accessories such as guitar strings, tuners, straps, picks, music stands, and some acoustic guitars and banjos as well. Vinyl records and small musical gifts line the walls, it's so fun to explore and each time you visit you'll find something new, as there's so much selection. If there is something they don't have in stock, they will order it for you. The vibe is very relaxed and they are never pushy, you can look around for 30 min alone exploring if you want and just ask if you need anything. Love this place and can't recommend it enough, it's also a vintage store with history dating back to the 1950's so it has such cute charm and decor, it's an experience that online shopping can't give. I now purchase all my sheet music and guitar accessories from Central Music, support local!

We had three choices and price points, and I selected the "student" one which was the least expensive, and wow, this instrument sounds so much better and is in great shape! We were in and out of the shop in 20 minutes. The salesperson helping us was knowledgeable and friendly and we were able to find the accessories we needed as well (shoulder rest sponge and rosin). She's been playing it for 3 months with no issues and it doesn't go out of tune quickly like her cheap one. Billing is automatic and easy, with no mistakes. Such a great experience - we'll definitely be back when it's time to upgrade to the next one!

One boys takes drum lessons, and the other takes Guitar. Both of my boys now conduct their weekly musics lessons online! I'm amazed at how the instructor can use Skype to give coaching with the same level of quality of being there in-person. Truth be told - I think we almost prefer the convenience of the in home lessons. Great job Arik and Kurt - we are happy to support your business. Thanks for all you do for the kids!

TODAY - I am contacted with an explanation that "I honestly thought you were probably a good person but I felt a dislike towards me right away. That energy was truly difficult for me to deal with." His "concerned" response concluded with this: "PS. I once had a doctor do surgery on my knee. I really disliked him (really this guy was a jerk) but I knew he was an expert..... My knee works great again. :)" Since 12/23/2014 (again five months after my initial review) - the Owner has contacted me several times via personal email 3-4 and 1x telephone (actually left a message) - surreptitiously attempting to convince me to edit/delete or otherwise alter my review. I find the Owner's contact inappropriate and borderline harassing. I rejected his offers of a refund as that is not the intent of my review - rather to advise others of my experience. The Owner provided a service- and was compensated for his service. My opinion is this Owner does not take kindly to those with opposing/differing views. Unprofessional and inappropriate boundaries.

Our instructors (usually Jordan and Ben) are both so talented and good with kids - our boys not only enjoy learning and improving their skills, but also have fun... which has been critical in keeping them engaged. Like a kid in a…read morecandy store he is dying for you to get a concept or new skill so that he can move on to teach you the 'good stuff'. When he demonstrates something his mastery of the piano is evident and it allows him to demonstrate why you are learning a technique. We have just started learning pentatonic scales (apparently the backbone of many a bass riff and melody). To show the importance of learning the pentatonic scales he swiftly played 6 or 7 songs I recognized and said 'see! It's everywhere'. Now I am practicing my scales with enthusiasm and building playlists on Spotify with pentatonic based songs so I can listen out for them. It takes great skill to be proficient at the piano. It takes great talent to translate that skill to a new student. Bill has both in great quantities so you should sign up for class

Well, my "someday" occurred a little over two years ago and I was referred to Bill Keis by a piano tuner who played magnificently. Bill was actually this guy's teacher. (I had previously tried another teacher at a local music store who absolutely frustrated me. That guy was more interested in me listening to how great he played than teaching me. It almost made me quit keyboards altogether.) Fast forward to today. I am now reading music, improvising, playing jazz, blues, a touch of classical, and understanding much more about rhythm, harmony and melody. Bill is an experienced musician who actively plays live gigs, as well as an accomplished and sought-after arranger, composer and recording artist. Chick Correa? Jay Leno Show? Chico? Wow. He is the real deal. I can't recommend him enough as a teacher. I have weekly lessons at his studio, assuming my busy work schedule allows for it. It has proven to be a wonderful outlet for me. In addition, his book, The Complete Guide To Learning Music, is great for beginners, intermediate and advanced musicians as well. He has also authored a bunch of e-books for learning. I was not asked to provide this review, but am doing so in an effort to share my enthusiasm for Bill as a teacher. He is patient and can even work with a stubborn attorney like me!
