Very good customer service, easy to reach per phone with professional workers. I received a message after I ordered a guitar telling me that it was to be inspected, soon to be shipped, and I was even asked what brand and gauge of brand new strings I desired. I have absolutely no complaints and am very happy with my experience. read more

I went there after I read that Charles was a certified Taylor tech and that he had everything necessary to service my GS mini. My min had 11s on it and when I put the proper 13s on it, the action was way too high. I took it to Charles and he did a wonderful job setting it up. The 13s make the mini sing like it's supposed to. Thanks Charles for a great job. read more

I called to see if they would replace one broken string on my old acoustic guitar and they told me to bring it in. You wouldn't know this is one of the cheapest repair services possible, hardly worth the effort for them, because the guy that attended me treated me with such courtesy and respect, you'd think I was in for an expensive service. Really made me feel like a respected and valued customer, despite this being about a $5 fix. Given what they make on average for more significant repairs, they probably lost money on helping me, but he was fast, friendly, and kind. I will *definitely* be returning with any future repairs on my other instruments. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more

These guys are incredible. If you own any acoustic guitars that you truly care about, you HAVE to take them here. Daryk took care of me and my D18, HD28, & J45! Doing really great complementary stuff like drilling the strap button on all of em, adjusting neck pitch, to installing the anthem pick up! (Which is an incredibly scary process of drilling holes through the saddle, etc.) and on each guitar they talked me through some of the issues they saw and how they remedied them without adding to the price. Truly can't recommend these guys enough! read more

Cool acoustic QUALITY guitars! Excellent help! I can always find something to add to my collection!

Fantastic work by skilled craftsmen. I love it when people respect the fact that my guitar is 80+ years old and needs to be fixed in old school ways. read more

So here's the deal; is you're looking at getting your eleven year old a guitar for Christmas to learn on this is not the place for you. Might I suggest Walmart or Guitar Center for a nice affordable starter guitar you won't mind eventually ending up in the back of a closet unplayed. If you are a serious musician looking for a GREAT guitar, one that you will cherish more than your bratty eleven year old, than this is definitely the place for you! I've been playing for twenty years and it takes a lot to impress me in a music shop but when I walked in here it literally took my breath away. You won't find a better selection of quality high end guitars in the Valley. With friendly knowledgeable employees that will be happy to help without hovering, this is the place to go for a guitar you will treasure forever. read more

Cannot speak highly enough about Acoustic Vibes, and in particular Bob Card, Sales Manager and Phil, their luthier. Both these individuals know their business, offered invaluable advice and allowed me to compare, compare and compare more guitars. Thank you gentlemen: that Atkin plays beautifully! read more

Finding a good guitar shop in Phoenix is a bit of a chore but if you're in the market for a nice acoustic, look no further. First the selection was outstanding. From Taylor's to Martin's for sure, but it's the exotic flavors that you can't find elsewhere that set this place apart. I played a few Larrivee's and somehow settled on a sweet Breedlove! It was very comfortable and quiet so easy to sit down and get a great feel for a bunch of instruments. They even have Deering Banjos amongst other surprises! It's a guitar players shop but a great place for beginners to stop also. The gentleman helping me was informative and friendly and made me feel at home. I play mostly electrics but left home with something cool today and will be coming back regularly. read more

Excellent customer service. Large selection of guitars. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. Quality products. Highly recommend.

One of a kind! These people sell extremely high-quality instruments. They know what they have, and how it's made, and how it differs from other makes of the same type instruments. And in some instances, they personally know who made it. These are exactly the type of people that we all need to talk with if we're going to invest in an instrument that we will likely have for the rest of our lives. I understand they also do repairs, but I have not personally had the need for such a thing, so I can't comment on the quality of their repair work although I would bet that it is top-notch. I wish there were more retail establishments like this one. I wish I knew a car dealer where the people knew as much about what they were selling and cared as much about you getting the right one for your specific needs. read more

I came in to get my guitar chords fixed, and the gentlemen were so great and helpful, despite not making a huge big sale. They took their time, educated me, and were so so kind. Acoustic Vibes? More like Good Vibes read more

This spot is a gem. I came here thinking that I would need a repair on my saddle, but the technician (Derrick) took one look at my guitar and decided to change the strings and then diagnose the problem. Not sure exactly what he did, but he adjusted the neck of my guitar and in no time, my guitar was working again. He only charged me for putting the strings on! I really appreciated the honesty and the willingness to help me immediately. They also have an absolutely beautiful collection of high-end guitars. read more

This is really a zero stars rating but not seeing that I can do that in Yelp (maybe I'm wrong). These guys can't fix my broken Taylor even though Taylor said they were an official tech. So, why would anyone buy a guitar from a store with an anemic repair shop? Here's what they texted me (they didn't answer the phone) - "We open at 11. We are no longer taking major repairs like that . I suggest Milanos music in Mesa or Boogie Music in Phoenix Thanks" F 'em read more

I had an issue regarding my bass tuning gears on my Cordoba C12 guitar and within 1 week of my initial phone call, Acoustic Vibes was back in touch saying they had the replacement in stock and asked me how soon could I bring my guitar in. Four days later I had a new bass tuning gear installed. Cordoba and Acoustic Vibes are great folks to have your back! Thanks to Bob, who took my request about the tuning gear and Charles, who installed the new working-correctly gear! read more

These guys were fantastic super knowledgeable friendly welcoming. They did a tuneup on my Les Paul electric and restrung my acoustic and couldn't have been a better group of guys very thankful to have discovered this wonderful business. Took my new Washburn guitar in to have the action lowered. Dylan helped me. Not only was he friendly and helpful, it was obvious that he knew his stuff. In just 10 minutes he was able to see how the adjustment could be made, took care of it, and didn't even charge me for his time. Not that he can do that this often but he did it for me and I am very grateful. I recommend Acoustic Vibes highly. I'll be doing business with them again. read more

I brought two guitars in to be repaired on a Wednesday morning (Dec 27)after speaking with Dylan on Tuesday. When I arrived, the lobby was empty with only one or two other people in the shop. I waited for about 5 minutes to be noticed, and was informed that the tech was out sick. Ok. Stuff happens, no problem. I told the gentleman what I needed done, was told the tech would be back "tomorrow ", so I left my guitars and drove the 30 miles back home. After almost a week and a half, I hadn't heard anything back so I called to get an update. I was told that the tech was still out sick and there were a backlog of work orders and no time line as to when they would be completed. How do you run a business this way? No phone call to let customers know whats going on? No back up guitar tech? And then major attitude when I drove ANOTHER 60 miles round trip to pick them up. The guy in the lobby said the tech was still out, shrugged his shoulders, shuffled back to retrieve my guitars with no urgency or care..in fact, he acted put out. I got my gear and just left, with no word of apology or understanding. Really? I wanted to like this shop, but I'll never set foot in there again and will actively discourage anyone I know to find somewhere else to go. read more

A great shop with some really kind and knowledgable staff on board. Great inventory, too!

Went in here with my Dad. Never been to the store before and had no idea what to expect. Was planning on looking at some Gibson J45's and immediately was greeted and let into the space. The guys that work at this store are so nice, and helpful. No pressure at all to buy anything. They have a fantastic selection of acoustics from many different brands. My dad and I jammed on a bunch of Gibsons and Martins, testing them all out before I settled on a J45. Great experience at the store and had a great time playing with my dad, will be a fond memory of mine for sure! read more

Acoustic Vibes is by far the best guitar store I've ever been in. I used to live in NY and NJ and there were many fine guitar stores within a reasonable distance. I moved to northern Arizona 5 years ago and the only guitar store I go to is Acoustic Vibes which is a 2-hour drive away. They have an amazing selection of high-end as well as medium-level guitars and the customer service is so far beyond any place I've dealt with. I've so far purchased 3 high-end guitars from them and will buy more as the need (or desire) warrants. Earlier this year I had a guitar that needed to be serviced and I tried 2 guitar techs closer to where I live. Neither could fix the problem - one suggested that I needed to put new tuners on the guitar for a problem that Phil (the luthier) was able to resolve just by tightening the existing tuners. Phil is currently fixing another guitar I purchased there and he has kept me informed of the status throughout the process. The quality of the guitars they have in the shop, the customer service, and their attention to detail are so far beyond any store I've been in. Whenever I'm in the Phoenix area I make a point to stop in to play some of their very fine guitars. They are always happy to let me play as many and as long as I want. I highly recommend Acoustic Vibes. I just wish they were closer :-) read more

Outstanding selection of high quality acoustic instruments. Great service, too. Recently came in to get a O or OO size parlor guitar. They had a great selection of popular brands but also lesser known makers. Ended up going with a OO made by a local luthier. The staff was friendly and answered my questions. They never hovered or were pushy. read more

I have no idea how to explain how much I love this guitar store. Phil and Dylan are absolutely phenomenal. They are extremely knowledgeable on every instrument in the store. They are fun guys to be around. There is no better place to spend time than Acoustic Vibes Music. If you need work done on a guitar, these guys are absolutely the best! My son bought a guitar today from Phil and Dylan. He left the store on cloud nine because these guys made him feel fantastic about his purchase. I've traveled all over the country and been in numerous guitar stores. This is ABSOLUTELY the best! This community is BLESSED to have this beautiful store.. read more

If you are looking for a fantastic acoustic shop in the Phoenix area, stop looking. This is it! This shop is fantastic and worth a visit if you are looking for a high quality acoustic or just need service/set-up on an existing guitar you have. Great staff.. friendly knowledgeable, easy to talk to... really can't go wrong with this place, some awesome guitars in stock.

They do a great job!! Very reliable, work is completed on time. Guitar sounds great!!

This place is amazing. Much larger and better stocked than I would ever expect. Stuff you won't find anywhere else. Very friendly, eager to talk about the guitars and the business. Employees are active players (one that I spoke to was a luthier). I ended up buying a Tonewood Amp from them after they took the time to really demo it for me. A couple of days later, I even got a phone call from the owner asking if I had any issues and letting me know that they had lined up a ToneWood clinic that I might be interested in since I had just bought one. That was more outreach than I would expect from a relatively small purchase. read more

I just visited Acoustic Vibes this past weekend looking for a Kamaka ukulele. The store has an incredible amount of selection especially for guitar, and the prices are very fair. The owner Jeff showed me around himself and was extremely helpful with no pressure at all. This is a top notch store and a place I will be returning to again and again for big purchases and small. Just a great experience! read more

What a great acoustic guitar shop! They have a huge selection of great instruments from all the high quality guitar makers. I purchased my Custom Shop Martin there, after many visits and "tryouts" in the store. They prefer that you call for an appointment and you will see why, they take great care of their instruments so whoever purchases them will have a perfect one. I have since needed a small nick repaired on the neck edge of my Martin, and Phil did a perfect job on it. He is a skilled luthier. Acoustic Vibes is the best acoustic instrument shop in the greater Phoenix area, in my opinion. They offer not only acoustic guitars, but also mandolins and banjos. Call Phil for an appointment, you will be amazed with the selection and his knowledge of their inventory. read more

I have never been inside the store. Was referred to Acoustic Vibes Music from a company in California while looking for a 650 Estudio (new world) guitar for my son as a graduation/ birthday gift. Jeff and his team knew exactly what I was shopping for, very flexible and easy to deal with. Will update this once the unit is in my hand. Guitar showed up, as expected well packaged and in excellent condition. Jeff and his crew are the third place I have mail ordered an instrument from and by far and above the best service so far. Aces in my book. Keep up the good work and I will be calling on them again in the future! read more

This is the classiest, and best guitar shop I've ever been to. I came in looking for a ukulele, and they had such an amazing collection to choose from! Everyone was very knowledgeable on all the instruments, and even helped me pick out a quality tuner. I won't even consider going to another shop after coming here. Thanks for all your help!! read more
