This is what you get if you use these people I have so much to say but I've gotta Collect my thoughts and put it out there Just beware don't don't use them unless you want to have a big freaking mess nightmare Hire somebody in you pay them to do all of the moving and packing. This is not what you should get and supposed to be going to your store at your storage unit that was the opposite that happened and they didn't get everything agreed and they want me to pay for another storage unit now they're holding my stuff now for a whole week in a Truck , I'm not gonna go meet him down there. If they won't fix this. I paid over $6000 for this move fro Camp Verde to Cave Creek. Two carloads and , two U-Haul later after they would not get the rest...and a crash on the I 17 near the cliff just immediately south of Sunset point. My son almost went off the cliff that was what happened to my son because we had to go to their job. I'm not faulting for the accident but we wouldn't been in the situation in the first place. This was a business business retail store move with overstock used equipment and fixtures only to go in the unit and some file boxes but not all of them -instead everything was put in there 25' x 12' in the height of an RV I didn't mention you holding about 100 of my items in their trucks because they want me to get the storage unit if you get a organization and instructions instead of doing the job correctly and fixing a mess right now gonna have to go to court. I really don't have time for this bs read more

I highly recommend using Phoenix A to Z Moving. They came by on a Monday afternoon, pulled all of my items out of the condo and loaded it expertly and efficiently and at a great rate. The team was professional and prompt. I wanted to help with the loading but there was no need to because these guys have it down to a science. If you are moving or need help with a load, I would consider a moving company because of the stress it takes away from you. And at that I would use this company again and again. There is a reason they are rated 5 stars on uhauls site and it showed on moving day. Justin and the team, thank you. Albert read more

They did an amazing job. Adapted to a changing schedule, finished loading much faster than I expected. We hired for 2 movers with a truck and we're pleasantly surprised with the cost and how hard these guys work in the heat. Will use them again! read more

Justin and his helper jeremiah were reliable and kind. They have moved me multiple times & I have had a wonderful experience each time. Justin stays professional and productive. His humor, friendliness, and passion should be a huge reassurance to anyone looking for someone to trust. I knew my belongings were safe with them & I LOVED the efficiency. They were able to move my LARGE couch, tables, bed, and smaller furniture in a short amount of time in only 2 quick trips. I definitely recommend to anyone looking to support small businesses who care about their customers. read more

Over the phone Justin was awesome. Helpful direct and straightforward His guys were also amazing. On time and they were professional and polite-but were on it. Knew what they were doing and worked really quickly. They totally deserved the nice tip but were humble even about that. Great prices service and good peeps. Can't say enough about them. read more

Justin and Team were the best movers I've had to date. They arrived early, finished ahead of schedule, and were very well equipped. Not a single item was bent/broken/damaged during our cross-country move. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Said they would get back to me and never did. Sent several follow ups and was completely ignored all the way up to the day of my move. Unimpressed and disappointed. read more

His workers unloaded our furniture at a Chandler Cube Smart. They worked hard but permanently scuffed a leather recliner. Justin stated several times he had a guy who would repair it....the repair man never showed and Justin does not return our calls. I suggest you do not pay them or partial pay if you have a problem because the owners promise is not reliable...its been since Sept 6th and NOTHING has been done. read more

This was the worst move I have experienced ever. I have move 10 times in the last 8 years and this was by far the worst. Not to mention that the management has no concern for their customers. If you are unsatisfied with their service they will force you to pay them regardless by threatening to call the police on you (seriously). After reaching out to the owner, he then threatened to sue me. So, I would find a moving company that isn't this one. Actual moving problems: 1/3 of the crew was training on the job, they were late, broke a 100 year old antique bed, took forever. read more

Don't waste your time, Justin and his company, A-Z Moving is the absolute worst moving company we have ever hired. We had planned a cross country move from AZ to CT and I hired Justin because he had so many good Yelp reviews. On Justin's request I purchased 5 dozen moving blankets because they were going to wrap my furniture with the blankets and tape. They would bring tape and shrink wrap. They showed up with NO tape and "borrowed" a half roll of shrink wrap that I had on hand. (By the way, they charged me an extra fee for tape and shrink wrap.) Most (90%) of my furniture was not blanket wrapped, they placed blankets on top of and around it (untaped) and most of it fell off and exposed the wood, destroying thousands of dollars worth of expensive Ethan Allen and Pennsylvania House pieces. Beautiful tables were literally laid on their sides, *directly on the floor*, destroying edges and wearing down corners. Wood furniture was placed against other wood pieces, boxes and metal pieces including a wheel barrow. *All* of my wood chairs were thrown on top of piles with no protection and were ruined. They will all need to be restored, refinished, including filling wood that was scraped off of corners. We had 5 cubes, and each time we opened a cube it got worse and worse. Imagine the furniture that you've worked so hard for many years to buy destroyed out of sheer negligence. We may as well have burned everything rather than paid thousands of dollars to move it all across the country and arrive as junk. I don't know why they treated our furnishings with such blatant disregard and disrespect. Maybe it was because we were moving cross country and they were only a part of our move and they could eventually blame the trucking company who shipped it. Anybody with half a brain could look at the way these cubes were packed and understand that whoever packed them should not be in business. I have moved several times and this was my second time moving cross country. This furniture has made it safely each time, no problem. Sadly, this is the end of the road for many of these beautiful pieces. I would NEVER hire them again under any circumstances. Unfortunately, technically and legally there is nothing we can do about this. All I can do is write a review, get this information out and hope that this doesn't happen to someone else. It would be a *very* costly mistake. read more

Justin and his crew did a great job moving our belongings over a two day period. They did there best to see that things were not damaged but a glass top from a coffee table was broken in two. They took pictures and acted like it would be replaced. My husband talked to Justin, the owner, and he said he would take care of it. Two weeks later we still hadn't heard from him. My husband called him and left a voicemail. A text was received that he would call in a few minutes. No call. Another week passed and no word from him. My husband text him again asking what was going on with the glass and Justin said "glass has been ordered". That was 2 weeks ago and we haven't heard from him. We finally went and got the glass ourselves and it took less than a day to get it! So, although they did a good job moving our stuff beware if something does get broken. May not get replaced or fixed!! read more

My husband and I just moved from Norfolk, Virginia to Phoenix using a 26 ft u-haul and we hired these guys to help with the unload. Carl and Kyle were amazing! Professional, smart, and efficient. They were done in just a little over an hour. My dad owns and operates a small moving company in Virginia (30 years experience) and he was here because he had driven our U-Haul. He was impressed with these guys and particularly the team lead, Carl. Would use again! read more

Do not work with Ron from A to Z. Awful customer service. The movers that delivered our things also stood on top of my hope chest that is about 200 years old and was passed down to me from my great grandmother. Awful service, never again. Run fast if you work with Ron. He is not easy to deal with, and he called me "problematic" because I had some financial questions for him. Disrespectful, rude, and completely unprofessional. read more

Jeff and his crew were absolutely incredible. When everything else with my move date went wrong, this company's willingness to go the extra mile saved my day. My ABF trailer did not show up on time for my scheduled unloading date, and instead of A to Z Allied taking the prepaid money and moving on, they made sure that I received a full refund (which they were not required to do) and worked to help me find another company. They were completely booked for the remainder of the week, which isn't surprising given their exceptional customer service, so Jeff made sure that I went to the right websites to get another company scheduled. Instead of being frustrated with me for cancelling on them the day of, Jeff called me back AGAIN four hours later, just to make sure that I got someone scheduled and that I was completely taken care of. In the future, these are the type of people I want to give my business to. For a stressful moving week, this was the one company who really gave me a positive experience. Even though they weren't able to actually unload my trailer, I can say with the utmost confidence, these guys will do right by their customers. Like I said before, I simply cannot say enough great things about them. It's a shame I cannot give them 10 stars. read more

I hired Phoenix A to Z Moving to help move me from my townhouse to my new home yesterday. The guys showed up on time & immediately got to work. They were friendly, professional & fast! After contacting them about moving and sending them information, I never heard back from them. I called repeatedly and finally got a text that the person was sick. I said I was still trying to get a quote for the move. Still never heard back from them even 4 days later after this second contact. I wasted 10 days trying to communicate with them. I guess they don't want any business. Very unprofessional. Don't waste your time with this company. Look at all of the bad reviews. read more

What a horrible experience with A to Z Allied Moving! In fact, I am sitting in my broken chair at my broken desk to write this review! I have loaded pictures of the furniture that A to Z Allied Moving broke. They refuse to even address the issue. It has now been over a month since they broke our furniture and they won't take our calls now and won't return messages. Below is a copy of the complaint that we filed with the BBB against A to Z Allied Moving and as of today they haven't even responded to the BBB. I just looked on the BBB and read the other complaints that are on there. I REALLY wish I would have done that before we hired these guys. Please read through the complaints prior to making your decision to hire them. I see a trend here that their response and way of handling things is to either ignore the matter altogether or blame the customer. Are they even licensed and insured? I can't find anywhere that they are and would love for some help in how to do that so that we can reach out to those agencies too. I just want our furniture fixed or replaced and I don't think that is asking too much. Here is the complaint that is on file with BBB. We hired A to Z Allied Movers to load our personal belongings into a u-haul truck on 8/14/13. They broke two very expensive pieces of furniture. Our desk is broken in two places and our desk chair has the arm broken in half. We have pictures of the damage and we are happy to provide them to you upon request. We contacted Justin at A to Z on 8/16. Justin requested that we call back on the following Monday because he was too busy and was going out of town. We emailed Justin with pictures of the damage and as a follow up to our phone call on 8/16. We then contacted Justin again on 8/19 per his request. At that time Justin told us that he was going to have a furniture repair company contact us. We never heard from a repair company so we called again on 8/23. At this point Justin became rude and told us that he was working on it and it is really hard to find someone in Flagstaff that repairs furniture. We still did not hear from a repair company so we called Justin again on 8/28. Again, he was unfriendly and said that he still hadn't found anyone in Flagstaff. We asked him to give us a date that he anticipated finding someone and he said Friday (8/30). We did not hear from anyone so we tried to follow up with him again today (9/4). We left a voicemail for Justin. We also called Justin's partner, Rex. Rex was extremely rude and told us that he had no idea what we were talking about and that he could not help us that he was in the middle of something and we would have to deal with Justin. We explained that we have been trying to deal with Justin but nothing has been resolved. He again told us he can't help . We told him we were sorry for inconveniencing him and he told us, the customer, not to be rude. read more

We've used A to Z Movers twice now and let me tell you - they hit customer service out of the ball park. Quick and efficent, they make sure your belonging are well cared for. These guys were great! I had to reschedule with them at the last minute and they made time to fit me. Tim and Ron showed up on time and were very professional and fast! Want your stuff trashed? These are your guys! Justin will give you major attitude instead of repairing the furniture they damage. That's when you realize (again) that a cheap deal can be expensive, and you should have known better. True experience: They will gouge, scrape, and dent most everything, repair some, and leave you with the rest. They will show up with a U-haul that will smear a black oxidized aluminum smudge on every furniture leg and box. Not worth it at all, but Justin's attitude pushes the negativity over the top. Fair warning and good luck! read more

Unprofessional, damaged turn of the century furniture, scraped new furniture and charged me 8 hours for a 1 bedroom apartment - asking for their tax ID to put on my tax return and not getting an answer. The "owner" promised to come back and fix the incorrect assembly of the bed and never showed up. read more

I saw the ratings for this company in yelp and in U-Haul and figured that it would be a good company to hire to move my furniture from a pod into our new house. The guys that moved my furniture where in time and very nice, but while moving my refrigerator they damaged my door. By the way my door is brand new. When the workers damaged the door, they stopped and told me what had happened and reassured me that their boss will have the door fixed, that they would be fully responsible for any damages that they caused. I believe them and let them continue with their job. The following day I called the company owner, whom did not answer but I left I voicemail and asked when he would have my door fixed as promised by his employee. Multiple calls later made by me, and I still have not heard from the owner, he doesn't answer his calls or his text. All of a sudden he has disappeared and stopped answering. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU VALUE YOUR PROPERTY. read more

I don't know if I've ever dealt with a less professional company. The owner actually yelled at me on the phone when I told him of the problems with the move and was incredibly defensive. Their website is also inaccurate: They did not wrap our furniture as their Website states and, as a result, furniture was damaged, as were walls. Beyond this, it took three men and eight hours to do a job two men could have done in about five hours. The owner said he'd send a repairman to fix the furniture and walls--I said that remedy was unacceptable given what I'd seen of the quality of the work and that it would be more fair to charge me for two movers rather than three (a remedial discount of about three hundred dollars in a move that cost over nine hundred). He screamed at me, literally. I would not call this company. I would not have them move you. read more

We hired this company after reading the Yelp reviews. Although they appeared friendly and professional on the phone, they job they did was very poorly managed and executed. There was a lot of damage done to the wood pieces of furniture. The damage was primarily due to not properly wrapping pieces. They moved very slow for an hourly rate - at least to my taste and from my prior experiences with movers. I offered to give them the opportunity to remedy the situation prior to writing any reviews. They offered to repair the damage, but I preferred a refund to hire my own repair person. I don't trust the workmanship. The owner was very defensive, never apologized, and refused to refund for damages. I would highly encourage not hiring this company. They were also very expensive at the end of the job compared to other quotes. read more

I give this company a zero. I hired A-Z back in January. When the movers arrived at my new home they found that the legs to my coffee table were broken off. All of them. I contacted Justin who said he would take the table to a furniture repair place and have it repaired. He wanted to have it fixed rather than run it through his insurance company because he said the insurance company would only give a few hundred dollars. Next Justin called to tell me they could not fix the table. I paid almost $1800 for the table. He then said that he would see about having some iron legs made for the table. I have been told repeatedly that the table is almost finished. It is now 9 months later and I have yet to get my table. When I last spoke to Justin he said he didn't know where my table was but he was going to find out. The last message I received from Justin was that they were putting the finishing touches on my table. That was 9/6/13. In addition to my table being destroyed, they also took my moving dolly and have yet to return it. If you have anything valuable to move do not use this company. I doubt they are insured. read more

We hired this company to help us move our belongings from our house into a freight truck in front of our house. The two guys wanted to show up almost 4 hours early, but got upset when we told them the truck hadn't arrived yet. When they arrived after the specified time and the truck was there, they were just grabbing bags that we had explained were going into our vehicles for the move that had clothes, medications, etc. and putting them into the freight truck. When we found out about it, they refused to move boxes they'd put in front of them to get the bags out. We found out that several of our things were damaged, scratched, and before they left, one of the movers was caught trying to steal one of my glass items when he was caught putting it into his truck. The other mover, Bobby, said that he himself was on parole and wasn't about to steal anything. However, when we unloaded at our new house, we found over $600 worth of tools stolen that had last been loaded onto the truck by those two movers and unloaded by me. During the last hour we paid them for, they were just hanging around outside and not doing anything to help us move the beds or anything else. They finally decided to leave without moving a queen mattress, a crib, a recliner, coffee tables, etc. I ended up calling Justin, the owner, about everything they hadn't done before they'd left. Justin told me that the movers complained of having to step all over things (those things being my children), and boxes being in the way, things all over the place, and how disorganized we were. WE WERE MOVING! I explained that there were many things that weren't even moved and closets that were still full of big things that needed to be loaded. On top of calling me a liar, he claimed that he was a military man and knew how to pack things up quickly. He's telling this to a retired Army soldier who's moved 5 times while in the military and 3 times as a civilian, always having a moving company's help. Justin requested pictures sent to his phone and promised to get back to us. I sent them. When I never heard back, I tried calling him again, I only got voicemail. To this day, I'm still waiting for that phone call.. Justin and his company are a joke and it is just another way to rip off unsuspecting people who need help in a time when their lives are chaotic. Way to go Justin! Your thug employees robbed us and left us to do what we paid you for. Well played. read more

Where do I begin? I was needing moving assistance to just load a 16ft rental truck. The two movers that showed up never said hello or shook my hand. Nothing. Once the movers commenced I smelled a very strong odor of marijuana. Now I can't slander but I know what I smelled. They showed up without their supplies that the owner said they would have with them. The owner came to my apt and dropped off the supplies. He never introduced himself or anything. I explicitly asked one of the movers to wrap two mirrors and a painting on the wall with the wrapping. I walked down to the truck and nothing was wrapped. I asked them to wrap the T.V. Nope. By this time I couldn't stop the process as the truck was too full. I then tipped them 40 dollars and never got a thanks or nothing. After they left I went back and inspected the apartment and they left two very heavy boxes sitting right on the counter. I have a bed that's not meant to be taken apart. It's just a low profile slat frame. It was taken apartment and the screws were lost so when I was going to reassemble my bed I can't. At this point I called the owner and he said he'd ask the movers. They just said they were in the top drawer of the night stand. I looked through every drawer and nothing. I brought up the marijuana issue with the owner and he said that he knows that they "smoke" but there is nothing he can do about it because they have a "card". If he were to only look at the state of Arizona statutes, he would see that an employer can ban the smoking of marijuana from the workplace. It is not a protected status that an employer has to follow. He said he tells them to just make sure they don't smell like smoke when they show up for the job. When I had the movers unpack at my destination, I was missing a 200 dollar picture. I have since contacted the owner of the company several times via text and he will not answer. An owner of a company will not make things right. SMH. I asked him to either ship me the picture of pay me for it. I sent him a screen shot of the exact picture that should be picked up and sent. All I get is silence. I would swear on my dad's grave that this is 100% true. I do not want this to happen to anybody else. I am going to be contacting the state where the license to operate is held and do a formal complaint when all he has to do is send the pic or reimburse me for it. What a nightmare read more
