The worst moving experience I have ever had. Please, do not use these movers! Communication was terrible. I called to confirm the schedule, and (much later) received a text message as a reply, rather than a call. Sketchy, but okay. Movers showed up two hours late, without masks. When asked to wear a mask, they put them on for a bit, but two out of the three quickly took theirs off (and one was spitting all over my yard--horrifying in a pandemic). I really should have asked them to leave as soon as I saw them without masks! I had furniture to take apart, but the movers had absolutely no tools, which is very strange. I had to go out and buy my own tools, took apart my furniture, and showed up at my storage unit the next day to add the furniture. I was horrified at the contents. My belongings--including delicate, breakable items--were literally thrown inside, with no absolutely no care or organization. There were bags and bags of unopened moving blankets, paid for along with my moving box, that the movers had simply decided not to use. My breakable glass pictures were just thrown in there. And the damage! The slats from a bed frame had punched through a bookcase, absolutely ruining it. The unwrapped breakables (including furniture--none of my furniture was wrapped--and the lack of organization (a box almost fell out on the U-Haul representative who opened it) makes this box unshippable. Everything will have to be taken out, wrapped, and repacked before use. I called the moving company to see what they could do to make this right, but they absolutely refused to work with me. I understand that they were on another job at the time of my call, but considering the state of my storage unit, I asked if they would re-pack my box. However, the person I spoke to--Adam--was incredibly rude and condescending. When I mentioned that none of the moving blankets had been used, he suggested that of course not all of them would be used.... even though there were bags and bags of unopened bags of blankets, and my breakables--including framed wedding photos--were thrown inside with no care. He also denied responsibility and said he didn't know anything about the box, even though he was leading the move. As a customer, I have never been treated so poorly. Beware of using this company. When they get paid, they are done with you, and don't care about your experience. I have submitted a dispute through my credit card company, and with all the photos I have of the sorry state of my moving box , I am hopeful of a positive result. read more

Oh moving day, how you suck! But thank God for American Professional Moving. After having a mishap with another moving company who threw in hidden fees, travel fee, gas fee, this fee, that fee... We told them to go kick rocks and looked for someone else -- and I'm so glad we did!!! American Professional Moving are honest, professional, informative, courteous, upfront, and reasonable with their prices (no hidden fees!) Andrew and Mike showed up and were absolutely awesome! They were careful with our heavy furniture (and I mean HEAVY bedroom furniture made of oak and mahogany, not that cheap Ikea kinda crap). I swear they brought their Superman superhuman strength and hauled all the furniture down two flights of stairs, packing them nicely in the truck as to not scratch or damage anything (they're insured so if they damage anything, they pay for it), then carefully drove the truck to the new location, unpacked everything and hauled it up another two flights of stairs. I'm telling you, these two men were phenomenal!!! Andrew even managed to use his "magic" and shimmy a refrigerator thru the smallest doorway possible without removing doors or anything! (I know his secret, but will NEVER tell. Ha!) Both Andrew and Mike were awesome -- really sweet and personable guys, too, which is nice to know down-to-earth kind people are moving you. (At least it is for me...) After busting their backs for 5 hours nonstop, they finally finished (which, considering how heavy everything was, and going up and down stairs, that was supersonic speed!) Then, because they were so cool and awesome, I ran out and got them some ice cold "refreshments" to enjoy while we chilled for a minute and handled the invoice. Funny thing, I found out they actually were the same movers I had hired a few years ago to help move, however they had changed the name. Had a great experience with American Professional Moving. They called to inform me they were on their way and their estimated arrival time and got here a few minutes earlier than the appt time. i was pleasantly surprised at how much they were able to pack in the truck. I had a lot to move and they fit everything in so only one trip was needed. Very affordable!! Also very helpful and accommodating. I would definitely recommend them... And If I need to make another move I would not hesitate to call them. read more

I had a huge job of moving coming up and it was just to big for me to handle! That's where these guys come into play. When I first talked to Chris I was a little unsure about hiring movers to come and take care of my belongings, but Chris made me feel very comfortable every time I talked to him over the phone from the beginning and all the way to the end! He was very reassuring, easy to talk to, oh and very reasonably priced! The day of my move the guys showed up a 15min after 9am but that's OK I understand traffic at that time. Andrew the gentleman in charge of the moving part was very nice and understanding to my needs which made me feel better with this whole process. They took there time in wrapping my furniture and handled all of my stuff with care like it was there own. It says on there website to "trust the pro's".... Well that's exactly what I did, and that's indeed what I got! A fantastic job done by a great group of professionals! Would recommend these gentleman to anyone looking for a professional moving job done! I used American Professional Moving for the first time for my most recent move. They were prompt and on time and did an amazing job moving my heavy furniture. The owner Chris was very personable over the phone and helped me to find the right amount of movers. The best part of my experience was having Kyle and his team work their magic and provided a world class experience. Among other things they were punctual, timely in moving items to their moving truck, courteous, showed the upmost care about not damaging furniture, and it was 100% clear that I could put my full trust into their services. They dissembled what needed dissembling and put everything back together properly upon arrival. Avoid dealing with those guys! The worst experience ever! Remember these names Chris Meyer (the boss) and Andrew (a driver). They stopped unloading the things in the middle and made me pay cash in advance.Money for seven hours - the deal was four hours! After that they damaged the walls in brand new house, broke the new desk and scratched a leather computer chair and ..... ran away!!! Speaking with Chris (owner) he explained everything clearly. The guys (Andrew and Ian) were late arriving because of traffic. They called and let us know which was very nice. These two guys worked so hard in 116 degree weather, never complained just kept going until they finished the job. I would recommend this moving company without hesitation. This company is the worst. I was calling movers to get quotes and got a "find movers" site that I put my phone number into and they email it out. Chris was my first call. Boy did he sound professional and knowledgeable. What a mistake I made. The young man that called me was a bit late but not too much. He had a bad attitude when he found out where I was moving, which was only 38 miles from here and a straight shot. This is not unusual for a move. He also complained that he had to make 2 stops to get my stuff. He said and I quote, "They never tell me anything. They never tell me what is going on!" That was a bit of a surprise for me as I did not expect anyone to say something like that when they just got there to start my move about the company they work for. The whole thing took 7 hours and I had little furniture but a lot of boxes. These 2 guys screwed around and around. Did not do what I told them, kept putting boxes in the way and not where I said and had to keep moving things around. They kept moving items and moving them again. I believe they did this to rack up time on this move because it would be the only move for them that day. Chris also charged me a "trip charge" of $50 that he NEVER mentioned when we talked. NEVER!! I am 66 years old and these guys left my place packed with boxes, did not set up my Queen size bed, left me with no room to move anything around and I have to get my bed up today as I have to be out of my old place. Broke items that I found trying to unpack some and get space. I checked Yelp on them right away and the few reviews were good. NOT SO they are lousy and Chris could have cared less about the time it took. I am filing a complaint with the Arizona Attorney General on these guys. Something went terribly wrong with this whole experience. I hope this does not happen to anyone else that hires them... read more
