Within the last year we had moved to a new condo in Seattle and we were still wearing the battle scars from packing and unpacking ourselves. So we decided to hire PWB to do it all. (They were recommended by a friend). We contacted them in Sept and planned for an October move. They were very helpful and very patient fielding all our questions. On Tuesday Oct 22 they came in and packed everything. On Wednesday they moved it all. And on Thursday they unpacked. It was fantastic! We had the same 4 experienced movers each day. They worked hard, were organized, and knew what they were doing. They were also very courteous and fun to work with. They each took an area of the condo so they packed and unpacked the same boxes which reduced the number of 'where does this go' questions to a minimum. All we did for prep was to go through the condo and purge as much as we could. Each day they came in at 8 am and were done between noon and 2. By Thursday afternoon our house was all setup. We hung our pictures and artwork on Friday and had guests on Friday afternoon. I give my highest recommendation to PWB movers.

Unfortunately his business practices left me with no choice. I decided to hire Priority One to help with my move after learning more about Brandon's inspirational story. He started his own local company after his daughter was born a few years ago. Brandon was professional to work with along with the two kind gentleman he sent to my apartment to help with the actual move, hence the 2 stars. The two guys were hard working as they moved all of my belongings from my apartment, to/from the moving truck, and into my new house. They even removed my three TVs from the wall including the mounts which was very convenient. However, I regret not turning on the TVs immediately after they were moved to my new house! This was a very expensive and hard lesson to learn because I splurged on my 65" Sony Smart TV last year for ~$2500. I turned on the TV expecting to watch a movie a few days after the move, only to see the entire screen RUINED! I immediately called Best Buy because the TV was less than a year old, and there was faint hope that they could help. I updated Brandon via text message and he responded with concern and seemed willing to work with me towards a fair resolution. Best Buy's technicians arrived a few days later who informed me that the TV is a total loss, because the screen was ruined due to impact with an object while in the moving truck. Brandon screens his calls and refused to answer any of my multiple phone calls since. The Best Buy technician even tried calling and left a message explaining how and why the TV is a total loss. I tried calling Brandon every day for a few days with no luck, which is quite unfortunate because his business has so much potential! I want to support Priority One, but I simply can't because now I have a large paper weight with no recourse for a fair resolution. Thanks for moving my stuff, I guess.

After we requested that our furniture be pad-wrapped for storage, we were charged $1,200 for 60 furniture pads at $20 each. Before work began, we were not given a written estimate stating the expected quantity or warning that wrapping could add approximately $1,200 to our bill. Our concern is not the wrapping itself, but the lack of transparency about the quantity and total material cost. A $20-per-pad price does not clearly communicate that approximately 60 pads may be used. A charge of this size should have been disclosed and approved in advance, rather than presented afterward as an unexpected surcharge. We asked Moving Team Six to review the charge and consider an adjustment, but did not receive the adjustment requested. Before hiring a moving company, get the expected material quantities, per-unit prices, total estimated costs, and approval process for additional charges in writing. This review reflects our experience and opinion. The lack of transparency and unexpected $1,200 surcharge made this experience particularly disappointing. I do not recommend hiring this company.
