This restroom lady let about 11 or 12 women in the Men's restroom. When I asked her why? She told the security to kick me out. We were waiting over half an hour for all of them to use it. I bounced to another spot on my own to use the restroom and enjoy my night. Please be careful coming here. If you complain about the smallest thing you will be kicked out. I came here to celebrate my cousin's college graduation. We came here on a Friday night around 8:30 pm and were seated at a table. At 10:00 they kicked us out because it turns into a nightclub and never told us! We were still eating and drinking and spent a lot of money. They did not let us stay nor did they ever warn us that we would have to leave by 10 even though the place is open until 2:00 am! The manager was unsympathetic and uncaring. They are advertised as an 18+ night but do not allow 18+ to go on the dance floor and are instead forced to stand by the bar for the entirety of the night. They will take your money. The service wasn't terrible. We were in a big group and when the bill came. The server split it 3 ways. But didn't ask us what we wanted on each bill. Our table had extra items on our bill from another table. Our table had an extra half craft of sangria on our bill that we never ordered or accepted... We tried to dispute the extra items and She said "Well, I brought out the extra wine for one of your tables." And we told her that we didnt have the 4th craft replaced she said "Well, I can't determine who drank it." My issue is that she had no issue splitting the bill three ways. But couldn't keep up with who ordered what and how to properly give the right items to the right table. And when it was brought to her attention, she deflected. The Brunch food was pretty good. Amazing experience from start to finish. Upon our arrival we were greeted by William the hostess. He was very polite and asked us where we wanted to sit. He advised that we could sit anywhere that we wanted. Once finding our table my boyfriend and I were provided with menus and Sunday brunch specials. We asked William what the most popular dishes were, any vegetarian plates and what do most people like to eat at Alegria. He was awesome by answering all of our questions and made our experience a very pleasant one. With a Yelp check in you are able to try one of the appetizers under $10. So make sure to check in and let your waiter know. I had the Ropa vieja con huevo. This is shredded beef with Plaintain's and an egg on top along with black beans and rice with a small side of cucumber salad. This traditional Cuban dish with a twist of the egg was delicious. Highly recommend! My boyfriend had the Spanish dish of the Paella championes. The portion on this dish is big. You could share this plate between two people. It is a vegetarian dish. For desert we tried the Flan con Fresas, which is flan with strawberries. I would definitely come back to Alegria due to the exceptional service we were provide by our hostess and waiter William. read more

Purchased the brunch with unlimited mimosas and sangria for two for $25 on Livingsocial which is a great deal and here's my feedback on my experience: Pro's - nice ambience inside and also has patio seating with heat lamps - our waiter was friendly, checked up on us every few minutes, made sure our sangrias were always filled, and also made some entree suggestions from the brunch menu - sangrias were good Con's - staff wasn't really clear to us on which table to sit at. When I asked to sit at a certain table I was told yes, then a few minutes later we were told to move to a different table due to a reservation. - they don't validate for garage parking, only valet parking Food: ordered the lomo Saltado, which is totally different from the lomo Saltado I usually have at Peruvian restaurants ...this one didn't have french fries and it was more saucy...but it was still good My overall experience was just ok ...The food wasn't as great as I hoped it would be. Gotta love Yelp! Lunch crew couldn't decide where to go but Yelp came to the rescue and brought us to Alegria. Parking wasn't a big issue as there was a pay lot directly across the street OR a short walk to available street parking or in the nearby structures. Service was pretty good. Drinks were refilled and empty plates cleared. Food: I ordered the Alegria Pasta and initially, it was a little bland which surprised me considering all the visible ingredients in the dish. Added a little salt and it brought the flavors out - to the point I basically licked the plate clean. Note for both food and service: Our server came out with a quesadilla for me on the house because the kitchen made a mistake with my pasta dish. They didn't really have to because my dish came out about five minutes later but it was all good - shared my extra dish with the table. When I first walked in I was pretty surprised at how small it is. As the night proceeded it got super duper crowded and hot in there. I'm not even sure if they had the AC on. They should definitely limit the amount of people that come in during the night. You cannot dance without bumping into someone. Also, the bathroom line is ridiculous. My friend was gone for about 40 min trying to make line for the bathroom. The bar itself also feels kind of dirty. As for the drinks, I liked my margarita but was shocked they did not have Jack Daniels. However, I did enjoy the music and the DJ. I just wish the televisions playing music videos actually matched the music the DJ was playing. Overall, this bar is a big no for me, at least for the nighttime. I will not be coming back here ever. After that, the dj kept talking trying to get women to go up on stage and dance.
