Best Asada Burrito in town. I thought all asada burritos were basically the same. They proved me wrong.

Have you ever been to a place you can't wait to return to? This will be one of those places! Their attention to their client's needs is top notch, the food is delicious, the environment is pleasant, and the location is clean. If you like spicy salsa ask them for their special spicy salsa. This will be saved on my new favorites and I'll definitely take any friends who visit Paso Robles. Great job! This place was the best! We walked by two days in a row and noticed they were closed, but today we saw staff inside getting ready for dinner. When they saw us, they actually came out and offered to open early so they could serve us, which was such a kind surprise. Then when two of us asked if we could swap in a different type of meat for our quesadilla and bowl, they were totally willing to accommodate it without hesitation. The service was wonderful and the food was top-notch. We were so impressed by how kind and accommodating the staff was. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to! read more

This is a very friendly establishment. The staff was super helpful and kind. Food is reasonably priced and the portions are pretty good too. The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. We got there 5 minutes before closing and they stayed open for us. They also kept letting other customers in too. Why not? People wanting to spend their money at your establishment, you bet! Place is clean, people are so nice, and the tacos are delicious! I tried 3 tacos: al pastor, asada, and chicken. They are all so flavorful, had perfectly cooked meat, and tortillas with the best texture. The red/orange salsa is hot/spicy, but... delicious spicy! Green is less hot/more tangy but still killer. We stopped by today to check out this newer restaurant and we were pleasantly surprised to experience such authentic flavors of Mexico! I ordered the burrito bowl and it was unlike anything I've ever had. It was bursting with flavor and everything was fresh. My bowl was not smothered in lettuce and sour cream like other places.....this was unique! My wife and I paid our first visit to Al Chile last night and we are very glad we did. The service was great, although I have to admit we were the only people there when we arrived (we were pretty early for dinner). None the less, that gave us the opportunity to have a good conversation with the waiter about menu choices and how things were prepared. I went with chiles rellenos and my wife had al pastor enchiladas, both were excellent. Our meals were two of the more expensive dishes on the menu and were each under $20 (there is no single meal over $20). The decor is pretty basic and functional, while still being inviting and friendly. There are several things on the menu that I look forward to having on future visits, since we will definitely return. When the weather warms up, I especially look forward to eating out on the front patio, with its view of the downtown park. read more

Hermenillo is amazing. We came in late on our way through town for a quick bite to eat. They had a limited menu at the time, pastor and asada, but wow was it amazing. He recommended it in a quesadilla and an asada taco and also made some chicken for an extra taco even though it was late. The food was amazing, the service, amazing, the price, amazing. Highly recommend this place for a great quick bite or even a chill date night. Has a relaxed, laid back vibe and great people running it. Thank you for an amazing experience on a last minute dine in. Good to see real authentic Mexican food back in Paso Robles! We had a great experience coming in for lunch. The menu is simple and all the options are very affordable and there's something for everyone. My youngest son ordered a hamburger and it was really good, came with friends and drinks and it was a regular size burger for only $10, not bad at all! My oldest got the asada burrito and the meat, beans and rice were very fresh and packed with flavor! It did not disappoint. The restaurant is small but spacious and very clean. Lastly the chef personally came and talked to us and also made my husband a special salsa on the spot when he asked for something spicier, we had top of the line service. We can't wait to return for their Friday night taco nights! read more
