I waited until my 3rd visit to give my opinion. Tysons area is pretty competitive for Middle Eastern food and to open successful restaurant is tough,but seem like Agora did it. Service is great, almost flawless. Ambiance is created around Istanbul street vibe and atmosphere is relaxing and designed to let you observe parts of open kitchen space,where you see how dough team makes your pide ( flatbread) . Food is tasty to outstanding,with one of the best taramasalata ( fish roe whipped with bread,lemon and olive oil). Adana kebab was cooked to perfection by my family liking. For me star of the night was grilled octopus. Wow,what a delicious joyous experience it was!! Succulent juicy parts,back eyed peas with some amazing sauce on the bottom. Generously sized and perfectly executed. We will definitely come back for more dishes like that
Things were already off to a strong start with the complimentary warm bread and sips of tea. My favorite items were the manti and the mixed mushrooms. I tried the sampler of all their dips, and I highly recommend the cacik. The other dips are good too, but this one was so light and bright; perfect way to start a meal. I wasn't a big fan of was the taramosalata as it was a little too fishy for me. I also wish there were less beans with the octopus dish and maybe more of a grain or something else. Service was attentive without being overbearing and the food came out promptly. Overall, a nice spot for mezze.
I came in for their weekend unlimited brunch. I highly recommend making a reservation and coming a little early to find parking. It is $48 per person for 2 hours of their brunch menu. They start you off with one of each of the Starters for the table. Then you can order whatever you'd like on the menu. The portions are pretty small as you can see in my photo. But you can order multiple of each dish per round. Their dishes do taste higher-end, which is why the price is higher. They also taste clean and not overly oily or anything like that. I came out satisfied. If you're trying to consume large quantities of protein, this wouldn't be the spot for you. But if you want great tasting, quality foods then you should come visit here.
The stuff that the restaurant did exceptionally well for weekend brunch: the dips - they bring all of them to the table which is an interesting concept, but I think it gets you to try everything and it's only a little bit of everything. The plates are small so you can taste them without feeling like you're being wasteful. The bread is quite good. I also liked the Pide. Entrées were generally good as well. The vegetable omelette was flavorful and my husband seemed to enjoy the lamb dish. He also liked the fries/potatoes. The sucuk was well executed. Things we didn't enjoy that much were the shrimp. It's two cold shrimp and some oil which OK, I guess if you have it with some of the pita, it would be OK, but really didn't have that much flavor. Also, I thought the falafel was cold and overcooked. Perhaps that was just that instance. The one random thing that was kind of surprising was the Turkish tea pot was $18. I've never paid that much for Turkish tea. Lol. Or any tea at that. The desserts were interesting. The fried dough balls were tasty, but personally, I'd prefer the chocolate sauce on the side. The yogurt parfait was well executed and tasty. Another positive point is details in the bathroom. They must have an agreement with a company for soap and lotion. I know it's a very small detail, but it's rare that a restaurant has lotion and good lotion at that- available in the restrooms. I'd go back but I'm not sure I'd spend $18 for the pot of tea.
Amazing shared plates Mediterranean experience for a wonderfully unique dinner of flavors! It's a tapas style with small plates, perfect for a family or group of friends to try many different dishes. We tried the spreads platter which was perfect with the endless, warm pita. The LAHMACUN flatbread was very well spiced and a good light appetizer. The ŞİŞ KEBAP was very tender and juicy - cooked to a perfect medium rare. The highlight was the rack of lamb shared experience, which came with ottoman rice, and veggies on the plate. The lamb was so tender and the fat caps were grilled perfectly. It was a generous portion and great for 3-4 people to split with 9 pieces. The restaurant is lit uniquely with beautiful lamps from the ceiling, and though the restaurant was crowded, we could only hear ourselves. Service was exceptional, continuous clearing of our plates and even complementary tea to start! Parking in the garage is free as well as on the street out front.
They got slightly better in food quality but the service is still not good. 1. Reservation: absolutely necessary, you can't go in on any day. They are always packed. which is a surprise for me. 2. Food: 4 stars I ate here countless times and it used to great and became very bad and now it is reviving a bit again. - sis kebab was great! Small portion but great. - chicken was just chicken, make it at home. don't buy such stuff eating out, it was a mistake to order this 3. Drinks: mixed drinks are still not great. Choose wine or prepackaged items here 4. Service: not accommodating and it was so awkward. I could tell he hated serving us. We were still gracious and gave him 20% tip, but he deserved none! If you are in the area anyway, Chima, Fogo, Eddie's and many other better options exist.
AYCE Mediterranean brunch with small plates! Excellent service, beautiful and clean inside, the decor was modern yet cozy. They bring out all the starters automatically which I liked that concept. Small enough so if you don't like one, it's not wasted and if you really enjoyed it, you can request more! All the entrees are small portions so you can literally try everything! Some we enjoyed more than others and overall experience was great! Very similar to Ambar, which my hubby and sons prefer bc they have some "American" choices lol
We brunched on a Sunday and were one of the first tables in the restaurants since we had an 11AM reservation. Our server was nice but a bit slow on service (delivery of food and drinks). Overall, the staff was pleasant. Food on the other hand, was a different story. We had a larger table (6) yet we were only provided one set of starters. When we asked for another set, the server was a little impatient and said more was coming. Why not just drop off 2 sets to begin with? How do you drop off 2 deviled eggs for 6 people? The pide that came next was undercooked and therefore inedible. The sistavuk was dry, despite being thigh meat. The vegetable omelette was the tastiest egg dish. The sides - falafel was hard as rocks and dry, sujuk was the worst sujuk, and their "fries" are halved potatoes. When we asked for more of the marinated shrimp (which by the way is served cold), we were given 2. Just sad/unplanned portions for a large table. The meal ended with the tiniest lokmas ever, which were over fried and couldn't bite into. Disappointing brunch experience.
Excellent food and service. Turkish/Lebanese food that I normally don't enjoy with others, but this restaurant has blown my mind. So much flavor and good quality food. The server was rude, but my lemonade was amazing. Cozy and beautiful interior was also good. I would love to come back and check out more for sure.
I had Agora in Tysons on a rainy Tuesday evening, visiting my good friends. Mediterranean is one of my favorite foods, and it's hard to find something a cut above the rest. It was my first time trying it out and I have to say the ambiance did not disappoint. It reminded me a little like Fogo de Chão, in terms of quality and how busy it was. We had a table upstairs, which felt more like a private venue. The menu had great starters and mains, and we ended up getting the grape leaves, Grilled Chicken and Lamb. It was the perfect cook and exquisite plating. It felt simple yet healthy. The service was clean, quick and comfortable. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for an upscale dining experience.
Food and service is phenomenal. Great tasting traditional Mediterranean food, personally probably the best in this area! We tried the spread sampler, Brussel sprouts, grilled chicken and lamb chop, all cooked to perfection. Drinks were great as well, the mocktail I had was refreshing without being overly sweet. Great experience.
We needed a venue for four families and a group of 14. My son's girlfriend found Agora in Tysons. We made a reservation, which was essential to get a table for our group. The parking is conveniently located in the residential garage under the building. The restaurant seemed small at first, with a beautiful bar at the front, but we were seated at our reserved table upstairs. The Bronze prix-fixe menu was a fantastic choice for our large party, which made food selection simple and enjoyable for everyone. The five-course menu was served family-style and was incredibly delicious, including the dessert. The menu also included regular coffee and Turkish teas. The staff was amazing. We all enjoyed the lovely ambiance and the entire dining experience. We highly recommend this restaurant. 5 Stars for sure!
I am most definitely a new fan of Agora. The food here is flavored well and gives a unique experience. The service exceeded our expectations. Not only was our waitress attentive, she also provided excellent recommendations. Then the price is affordable. As it pertains to the venue itself, the decor was super cute giving a chic ambiance. Whenever I am craving delicious Mediterranean food, it is nice to know that I know exactly where to go.... Agora.
Came here for dinner on Saturday night and sat at the bar with my husband. Upon walking in, Agora had a warm, welcoming presence with beautiful lighting and decor. We ordered the Baba Ghanouj and the grilled octopus to start, which was accompanied by fresh pita bread. All three items were delicious. The Baba Ghanouj was very flavorful and fresh, while the grilled octopus was grilled to perfection and meaty! For entree, we split the lamb chops, the ottoman rice, and the brussels spouts. Again, all dishes were packed with flavor, cooked well and seasoned perfectly. All in all, very happy with out experience at Agora! We will definitely return. read more
Every time I come to agora for brunch I leave a very satisfied customer. This place is good for groups or a more intimate meal like a date. The restaurant decor is great. Service is also great, with servers coming to check in on you every so often and cleaning up the dishes in between the courses. read more
Everything tasted so exquisite here! GET THE LEG OF LAMB!!! You won't regret it. It's enough to serve 2+ people. The desserts are delectable too! We had a sea bass appetizer dish. Tasted like ceviche but a thousand times better. Gorgeous ambiance and reminds me of being in Turkey. read more
It's tradition to go to agora every time I'm in the area. And it never disappoints. At this point I've been there 3 years in a row. Plus once to the DC location. The food is what's bottomless* The food omg the food. Delicious! I love the labneh and the bread! All the spreads are savory and delicious. Not pictured are the pistachio French toast and egg dishes. The vegetable frittata was good! The potato's were savory. Drinks are expensive but well made. Service is attentive and quick. This last time we felt the service was the best. The decor and vibe is impeccable. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and the bubble booths are beautiful. Overall a great restaurant worth the money! read more
My friend and I were grateful to be accommodated via walk-in on a busy Friday evening before a show were were attending nearby. The actual restaurant is so beautiful and the ceiling is covered in these lovely Turkish lamps. The service is great and the food is so good! We shared the labneh, kibbeh, and the mixed cheese and spicy beef flatbreads. For our mains, my friend had the grilled chicken and I had the beef tenderloin cubes. Both were excellent and we had leftovers! Agora is great, will be back, and highly recommend. read more

Over the years, I have been to Agora a handful of times and I must say I definitely prefer this location over the one in DC. Even though, the DC offers outdoor seating while Tyson's does not. I have only been to Agora for dinner on weekends and it has always been busy, so I definitely recommend making a reservation. The Tyson's location has two floors and the seating always felt a bit crammed for my taste. Also considering that it's tapas, keep in mind they can only bring out a few dishes at a time since the tables (for two) are too small to hold all the plates comfortably. I have tried multiple drinks and food items from their menu (see pictures). I won't go into detail, but the food has always tasted good overall. My current favorite drinks are Purple Kelebek and Kafenio - both balanced well. Food-wise, the complimentary pita bread is always yummy. Also, highly recommend getting the spread sampler and Keșkek - both delicious. However, borek has been somewhat disappointing (I used to have it home cooked by a Turkish grandma so I know what I'm talking about). From desserts, Chocolate Bavaroise is good but super rich in chocolate (definitely shareable). Out of all my visits, three times have been for birthdays which was always noted in the reservation. However, there was not a single acknowledgment from the restaurant - not the hostess stand, nor the servers. In general, the service has always been a letdown. You have the table for 2 hours only, yet our servers would always disappear on us and take forever to come by. But they would magically appear with a smile on their face when it's time to tip them. Definitely left a bad taste in my mouth every single time. For the price point, Agora should do a lot better with training their staff on basic service in restaurants. read more

First time to Agora and will not be my last. We had a lovely evening and our server Natalia was superb. We tried the sampler for the appetizer and it came with different dips. Delicious! We also tried the chicken, beef and lamb kabobs- quality and taste was amazing. Keep in mind, the plates are small in portions and you have to pay additional for sides but I did not mind one bit. Atmosphere and location was ideal. Garage parking is also available which is extremely convenient. read more
Great Mediterranean restaurant. Food was wonderful. This was my second time here. This time we were a party of 6 and got seated on the 2nd floor. Didn't get the chance to seat at the egg shape tables on the first floor. We orders several dishes since this is a tapas style restaurant. Loved the spread sampler because we got to try many other tasty spreads than just the traditional hummus. Liked the octopus, kalamari and lamb kebab. Service was great. Be aware that like most European restaurants there is a 2 hour limit seating. read more
I forgot to take pictures because I was hungry and everything tasted SO GOOD. We had the spread sampler platter to start which was a great way to try everything and the warm pitas were a perfect vessel. We also ordered the beet salad which was surprisingly tasty (I don't normally love beets). We also ordered a flatbread and some lamb. They were much bigger portions than I expected and it felt like a great value for the money! The ambiance inside is super nice and all of the people working there were extremely friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be back with a slightly larger group so i can try more things! read more

I finally tried Agora during restaurant week, and I get the hype now. We went during brunch and the brunch was incredible. They started us off with a spread of dips, deviled eggs, salmon, cheeses, and flatbreads. This spread was amazing and we got to try items we might not have tried ourselves. They also have egg dishes and some sweet dishes that you can order. I really liked the Greek yogurt parfait and the salmon Benedict. You can also add a mimosa to brunch, so we each ordered one. The brunch is definitely pricey, but I would say it was worth the price. The inside of this restaurant is decorated very well, you will feel like you are transported to the Mediterranean not like you are in Tysons. The service was really good, our waters were being constantly refilled and our food came out quickly. Parking was a little confusing, but you can park in the garage right behind the restaurant. It is shared with the apartment complex and it is free. read more
This is the second time I am here and this place does not disappoint! This time we ordered the ottoman rice and sampler in addition to the best kunefa. The kunefa was even better than the one I ordered in Alanya, Istanbul, Bodrum and Side combined. So that is a must if you come here. Parking is in the garage on the ba k side for free, which is tremendously convenient. A lot of people during lunch hours so I will disregard the attentiveness from the staff. But if I ought to be picky, the portion should be a little bigger ( after all we are in US not Europe) and next time do not send out burnt pita bread. The ambiance and the great flavor saved it again, so I will still recommend checking this place out. It also serves halal which is great since there aren't many or any location in McLean with an ambiance like this. read more

We came for restaurant week but the menu they offered had a lot less options than the menu advertised online. We ended up just deciding to order off the menu and I'm glad we did because we got more things we wanted! Our waiter was nice and gave recommendations on what's good when we asked and the restaurant itself is clean and pretty. Thyme to bloom - 3/5 standard not too strong refreshing cocktail! Kavurmali - 4/5 the bread was perfect crisp outside and soft and fluffy inside. The cheesy is so gooey and light and paired perfectly with the bread, meat and seasoning! Meat was juicy and seasoned well too we loved this Ottoman rice - 4/5 rice is on the dryer side but I think it's made that way on purpose! Super flavorful with savory and sweet. Great to order to eat with the entrees but we even ate it alone Grilled octopus - 4.5/5 this is my first time having such a tender delicious grilled octopus! My bf who went to nyc recently said the tenderness of the octopus is on the same level as restaurants in nyc which is a high compliment. The seasoning was super unique and delicious too I will definitely order this again Branzino - 3/5 good grilled fish but a little boring when everything else has so much delicious spices and this is seasoned well but with like lemon and salt. Adana kebab - 2/5 disappointing because it is quite expensive for one lump of meat and the seasoning was definitely there but the meat was way too dry to enjoy read more

Disappointing. Arrived at 4 in a Frilooking for a table but turned away because I was told they didn't open until 5. Doors were open, website has opening hour at 4. Smelled great and menu looked good but would never come back, assuming they didn't want to accommodate just one person. read more

My wife and I are regulars here. The food and service is always excellent and the ambiance is clean, modern and welcoming. On this particular visit we bought our children with us to celebrate their 17th and 29th birthdays. Cagri who was our waiter went above and beyond to make their birthday special. Beyond the birthday celebration his attitude, attentiveness, and enthusiasm was such a delight and it truly made our dining experience special. The entire staff here at Agora are excellent, we have never had a negative experience. I cannot recommend this place enough. If you want some amazing food and excellent service this is the place to visit. read more

The service was really good with our friendly waiter and the inside is decorated really nice! Parking was a bit difficult to find but there is street parking or garage parking if you circle around. The food itself was nothing special. Everything was decent tasting but I have definitely had better Mediterranean food in the area. The waiter also pressured us to order everything off the appetizer section which was strange. read more
Fantastic food, fantastic service. We ordered a wide variety of things that brought our total to about $60/person without drinks. Probably could have cut that to $40-50 with everyone still being full. Rack of lamb was the star of dinner with table side presentation and carving. read more

Everything was so good/tasty. Each course just kept getting and better. You can tell how carefully prepared all the items were. I really enjoyed this tapas place. We dropped in as a central location for where the Ruiz sibs could get together. Though buried, it was easy to find and plenty of street parking after the 5pm time. Without the DC sun, the place is dimly lit by votive lamps setting a more intimate dining area. Music is modern, but subtlely so. I sat down in a wonderfully covered booth and my sister had already ordered a few appetizers in the way of bread and hummus. It was all good. The drinks on the menu varied depending on your taste of liquors. Most of these drinks had flavor infused booze, such as fig infused vodka in the thyme to bloom or the hibiscus syrup and bourbon in the hummingbird. Unique flavors, great drinks. Since I already ate, I pecked off my sibs plates for the wonderful lamb kebabs. Those were great. Our server Devonte was on the spot the entire time. The Ruiz sibs kept their own entertainment, but our server was there in case we needed anything? Recommend. read more
Best bottomless brunch! I have been there several times now. The service is good, the ambiance is nice, the decor is cozy but the food keeps on brining me back! All you can eat brunch for $42/per person is a good deal for their amazing brunch. read more
I made a dinner reservation at Agora to celebrate my dad's 70th birthday and it was the perfect dinner. We ordered various dishes including the dip sampler, cauliflower, scallops, octopus and squid - everything was delicious. Agora allows you to bring in your own cake, with a cutting fee per person. I called ahead to let them know I'd be bringing in a cake and the day of, I handed them a bag with the cake and candles and they knew exactly what to do. Highly recommend! read more

On one of the best days in my life! Celebrating one of the most important dates in my life 12/08/2023 I went to lunch at Agora to celebrate, and they didn't fail and made my day! They won't fail you too! Very nice ambiance! Unique! A bit of modern mixed with Turkish and elegant! They use the parking garage for the building so you can park there. It's a bit $$$, but honestly, it was totally worth it! The menu consists of small plates, and I took advantage of that and ordered many items! The spread sampler Ottoman Rice Grilled Octopus Imam Bayildi Shish kebap Adana kebap Lamb chops All the items were amazing, but the one that didn't impress was the lamb chops ! The item I'm dying to go for again is the Adana!! Unbelievably tasty! Best Adana I've ever eaten in the US! Service was wonderful , fast , friendly and very nice! They offer unlimited brunch on the weekend, but honestly, the menu didn't impress me! Agora! Thanks for helping me celebrate one of the best days of my life! The fried octopus was life changing, the savory mix. with the sweetness of the pomegranate on it was paired so elegantly with a beautiful presentation...it wasn't too chewy sometimes octopus can be chewy but this was fried to my preference, I like it a little burned for the charred taste. read more

Agora Tysons is amazing! I live in DC and accidentally ordered delivery from the Tysons location instead of the DuPont shop. Regardless, the delivery was quick and the food was delicious. Fresh, unique and well presented, even with the distance! We got their manti, kazandibi, lahmacun, adana kebab, and toum, harissa dips. Honestly, you can't go wrong! All the choices were amazing. Further, the delivery came with some fresh bread for the sauces... that was nice! I wish this was explicit on the delivery app since I got the lahmacun, anticipating no bread for the dips. Still, the lahmacun was worth getting even with the extra bread! Thank you for the delicious food. read more
Delicious food at Agora. We've had several dishes and they were all excellent. See Photos. Staffs are friendly and well attentive. Ambience and decor is modern and beautifully designed. We did have a reservation and seated immediately for party of6 dinner. It does get busy so hope you get to enjoy fine Mediterranean dining. We did have 2 bottles of wine - great wine selections. I'm pleased to announce, Agora Tysons Corner is a 5! My good friend treated me to Agora for my birthday and she claims I like to take control but this year she was picking the restaurant. In my defense, most of my friends defer to me when it comes to restaurants so I welcomed the pleasant change.. Lol! She did an amazing job with selecting Agora for this year's celebration, so much so, this is my new favorite restaurant!! She's been once before and proceeded to order for us.. Now she may be going just a bit too far!!! She ordered a basket of bread.. Hell to the NO! I'm not swelling my belly off no damn bread, so she was stuck with that!!! Give me the menu and let's get busy!! I ordered the lamb chops, giant prawns, Branzino, short ribs, and grilled octopus! She ordered the flatbread and brussel sprouts.. Man I'm glad I didn't let her order for me.. Lolol!! The meals are tapas style so it sounds like a lot but it was just right, especially since I shared :) When I mean EVERYTHING was a hit, OMG!! I would recommend every dish I listed to anyone who reads this review! Now, giving my dear friend credit, she did take pleasure in ordering my drink that she was CONFIDENT I would like, and she was right! The smoked Aroma is Agora's twist on the Old Fashioned and it was delicious!! My next stop will be the Agora DC to see if they can match up with Tyson's.. gonna be hard but we shall SEE!! read more
Bar none one of the best experiences I have had in the DMV for quite some time. I find myself rarely satisfied, much less impressed, with a new restaurant; and even rarer is one I find cause to return to. Agora checks all boxes. Good quality of ingredients as well as execution. The only critique I have upon the food is that perhaps more spice can be utilized. I suspect the lessening thereof is to cater to Western audiences whose palettes are not acclimated nor accustomed to such. Likewise, some dishes such as the lamb may benefit from a glaze or sauce. I will say, of the dishes I had, the anchor score goes to the falafel; whose texture and filling were not to the par of the other dishes. Likewise, I am impressed at the speed with which my meal was prepared. As my partner's cappucino order was projected to take some time, we were proactively offered the beverage on the house. Such standard of service is something I have not encountered in some time, and some thing I would be remiss to not note with distinction. The unique and upscale decor coupled with upbeat dance music makes for a good scene. With how decent the prices are, I would note that this establishment is highly accessible to a wide array of audiences and the every man; as well as be choice for recurring visits. Accordingly, I am inspired to create compilation subsets which detail my comparative analysis of local offerings. While I will mull over the finer details of these categories, I presume Agora as being within the top 10 of the DMV for upscale value dining; and within the top 50 restaurants in the area, regardless of category. read more
My friend turned 27 this past Thursday so a few of us went to Agora to celebrate. I'd highly recommend making a reservation in advance since it was pretty busy. The service was pretty fast and our server had good recommendations. Overall, nice ambiance and the interior was well decorated. SPREAD SAMPLER - 22 The sampler gives you a small scoop of the six different spreads they have on their menu. My personal favorite was the TARAMOSALATA, which is a creamy cod roe mousse. I also enjoyed the HUMMUS (a classic) along with the LABNEH (another classic) for its strong garlic flavors. If I had to only choose one spread in the future, it would definitely be the taramosalata. LENTIL SOUP - 8 This wasn't sharable so I got it for myself. It was the perfect texture of gritty and creamy with full of aromatics. It was warm and homey, extremely soothing. KIBBEH - 13 Each order comes with two fried dumpling almonds, full of pine nuts and beef on a bed of yogurt. I personally didn't remember this one too much, so it was probably just OK. MIXED MUSHROOMS - 12 I loved the mixed mushrooms! It was full of truffle oil flavor and the goat cheese (more like a spread/sauce) on the side was good. Definitely would recommend this as a tasty vegetarian option. KESKEK - 18 I really liked this one and thought the smoked short ribs were so tender and full of flavor. The meat sat on top of traditional Turkish wheat (reminded me of the consistency of mashed potatoes) that's been seasoned and mixed with brown butter and shallots. It was so good, and probably one of my favorites. LAMB CHOPS - 22 Each order only comes with two lamb chops along with several broccolini stalks. The lamb chops were simply seasoned but delicious. I really liked the broccolini, which was drizzled with a bit of oil and also seasoned very simply with salt and pepper. If they had just broccolini as a dish, I'd definitely get it. BRANZINO - 16 Great seafood option, the sea bass was grilled nicely and lightly salted. I personally enjoyed this a lot and the skin was nicely crisp and it's where most of the flavor is. ALI NAZIK KEBAP - 20 This was our last plate of food and by this point, I was pretty full. The garlic, butter, and yogurt combo made it really heavy, but delicious. The onions were well caramelized. Overall, good food and experience. A couple were just OK, but most options we got were pretty tasty. I have to thank my hairstylist the next time I see her. She was the one who told me about Agora. It was a great recommendation and we're glad we gave it a try. Before going, we made a reservation as it was a Saturday evening. The earliest reservations were for 5 p.m. with nothing available until 8 p.m. We took the 5 p.m. one. We got there early and since they don't open for dinner until 5 p.m., we sat outside on a bench as the weather was decent. When we went into the restaurant on time, we noticed something puzzling...most of the tables stayed empty. Even when we left after 6 p.m., there were still many empty tables. Don't know what was up with that... Service was on point. Our server came along and told us about their concept. Basically, it's Turkish Tapas. We started out getting mocktails. Both of us had one called "kekik". It consists of: "fresh clementine juice, lemon, honey and thyme syrup, club soda". It was an interesting drink and the ingredients gave it a unique (in a good way) taste. We were also given glasses of water. Plus, freshly made, still warm pita bread was brought to the table. That pita was great---soft and puffy, we used it for sopping up sauces. There was a seasoned olive oil based dipping sauce for the pita. We tried it and thought it was on the bitter side. Before leaving, there was one pita left and we took it home with us. Here is what we ordered: "Ottoman Rice" which consists of: "black currants, apricots, almonds, pine nuts and fried shallots". It's a pilaf style rice and we both really enjoyed it. The rice was moist and the sweetness of the currents and apricots came through clearly. "Cauliflower (which was fried) " that also had in it, "Turkish fig, tahini sauce, sorrel". This was well prepared and the items worked great together. "Grilled Octopus" which had "cold press olive oil, dry oregano, maras peppers". This sauce was both tangy and sweet. Plus the octopus was cooked to perfection as it was tender. "Lamb chops" which had "salt and pepper marinade, broccolini". My husband had this. He asked for it to be cooked medium but one chop was well done. Still, he said both chops held their flavoring and he was glad he ordered it. He said next time he would order it medium rare. The broccolini was fried but the stems were tough while the florets were done well. "Sis Kebap" which consisted of: "grilled beef tenderloin cubes, grilled tomato, onions, pepper" and a side of harissa sauce. This dish I ate. The meat was medium rare (which is how I ordered it) for the most part. The cubes at the end of where the skewer was came out well done. The onions could have been grilled a bit longer as they were still pungent. I didn't use the harissa as it was too spicy for me. We had room for dessert and ordered one portion of "Turkish Baklava" which is described this way "filo layers, pistachios, honey syrup with vanilla ice cream". It was freshly made and well soaked with honey. The ice cream was a tiny portion but it packed a punch when it came to the vanilla flavor plus it was creamy. To accompany dessert, I ordered "Turkish Tea" while my husband ordered "Turkish Coffee (served black). We were given some packets of sugar which I used in my tea. The tea had strong flavor, which I appreciated. My husband liked his coffee but he said he's had better elsewhere. As for ambience --- It certainly gave off the vibe of a Turkish eatery. Lots of colorful light fixtures and artwork. One thing to take note of --- It isn't immediately obvious as to where to park. The parking garage is in back of the building. You can enter at the end of the apartment building that is on top of the restaurant. There is an alleyway. First, you will see "resident parking". Keep going around the corner and you will see an entryway that says "residential and retail". Go in there and you will see some spots reserved for Agora and Solidcore ( I think that's what it's called). There is an exit that leads out to the sidewalk next to the restaurant. Also, you can go in this way (we think it's easier). When you come to Jones Branch Road if you're going up Westpark, make a right at the light and the parking garage entry will be on your left. It's well worth having a meal here! read more

Not sure I understand your question correctly, but they are open for dinner and brunch on weekends. There's is a garage behind the restaurant that offers free parking. Enjoy!

As of tonight, their tents are still not heated and they don't know when it will happen.
