Tried a new place for Sunday brunch. SO DELICIOUS!!!! No line at all--definitely check it out. I ordered the Eggs Benedict: the poached eggs came on polenta cakes with basil pesto sauce. My fiance ordered the Crab Cake Benedict. We shared and had one of each. YUMMMM! Others in our party ordered the Super Green Omelette which had at least 6 veggies in it. Companions and I came during Spring break. It was dead quiet and there was only one employee, who presumably wasn't expecting any business on a Monday night at 6:30 pm. In his defense, the Hill was like a ghost town. He proved to be our server and our chef, and I must say, he did a great job. All of our meals turned out great. I think the only qualm I may have with Span-ish is that the food is neither very Spanish, nor Mediterranean, nor Asian, which is what is advertised on the door. Don't get me wrong - it was plenty tasty - I just don't feel the need to pay premium dollars for a pretty basic (pasta) dish. I work in Boulder and often try different restaurants during the lunch hour. I have yet to be disappointed. Boulder has great food and Span-ish is another excellent gem that we are lucky we have found. My wife and I shared the crab cakes benedict and the veggie papusa, and the girls got the kids' pancakes and eggs. We finished every ounce of food on our plates, even though we weren't hungry. This was a great find on our visit to Boulder. Although listed as "Italian" the menu was quite eclectic with some Asian options and Salvadoran also. The pupusas were great. My wife and I went with Italian dishes and my son had the Mongolian dish...All were wonderful! The chef came out to talk prior to us ordering and the waiter was helpful and knowledgeable. The only down was the decor, with vinyl benches and booths seemed more appropriate for a diner then a nice restaurant. But ignore that and enjoy the food. read more

In another review someone mentioned all the food tasted homemade--this is why we went!!! I had Strip Steak over parm risotto with caramelized onions mushrooms tomatoes in a sweet savory bourbon "gravy". It was heavenly. Even through the intense flavors of everything else I was still able to enjoy the grilled flavor of the steak. I was sad that I may never get to eat it again as we don't live here. The other two plates at our table were Italian sausage stuffed chicken and fettuccine and meatballs which were also devoured with satisfied mumblings after each bite. Casey took great care of us and I promised that I would yelp the hekk out of our visit. This place needs to stay in business until we can hopefully make it back someday! So, go for me!!!! Read the reviews and decided to try it for dinner. Had the Chicken Picata and the Cobb Salad. They present everything uniquely positioned aka "fancy". The Cobb Salad lettuce was pushed together like a Jello mold of a mountain. The chicken and bacon strips laying against the mountain with the eggs at the base. They forgot the dressing. The Cobb Salad was underwhelming. The Chicken Picata was presented with the chicken perched on top of some mashed potatoes and the sauce was about as thick as chicken broth. No capers?
