It was about a 40 min drive from Denver, and when we arrived, we found plenty of parking in their free lot. The space itself is so beautiful. There are gorgeous views of the mountains, the gardens, the farm, etc everywhere you look. The food was fantastic!! They sat us in a private little greenhouse, which had a fan and windows to control the temperature a little. Every single course they brought out was so well thought-out and executed. Eric, the owner and head chef, personally came by to explain each course and how it was made. He was so friendly and knowledgeable and clearly passionate!!! (I should note that the table was only set for a party of two and we were a party of four. So, it wasn't until our first dish arrived did they notice that we were missing tableware and plates for the rest of our party.) We mentioned that we'll be sharing a bunch of things, so this is what we ordered: The food came quickly and we did have to make room immediately. It was spiced at what I'd call a medium level, and quite yummy. My friend then ordered their vegan chocolate pudding, which we shared. Yummy and light. My one big criticism is that they charge $4 for iced tea. I questioned it and the cashier was kind of snippy about it, but the customer behind me approached after I dispensed my tea and said she agreed it's too expensive. The meal was appropriately priced and there is plenty of food, but the drinks? C'mon. It's worth maybe $2.50. They really should reevaluate that. It's the main reason that I gave the place 4 stars instead of 5. The other people who work there were nice and helpful. I didn't grab a fork but the server who brought my bowl cheerfully went and got me a fork and napkin. Very nice.
