The Corner was one of the first restaurants I tried in Boulder and it was the last stop I made after moving out of my college house. Everything on their menu is healthy and absolutely delicious. The staff is incredible, they are so helpful and kind and it is clear how much they value and care about their customers. The restaurant is such a central part of the hill and the campus experience. The Corner is an 100/10 and by far my favorite place in Boulder!! I could not recommend it more! After four years of eating at The Corner I was familiar with the staff as were they with me. My go to orders were a bacon egg and cheese on everything with cheddar and a side of chipotle mayo, coconut curry salmon bowl with white rice, chicken pesto with fries, shrimp tacos with chipotle sauce and Cesar salad, or the coconut chicken lemongrass soup. This is one of the times when we had to make an impromptu decision when plan A failed when we got to a booth in the food court and the place we had pranced no longer existed. So we went to plan B our favorite Banh Mi shop down the Blicker a bit and it was so mobbed with a group of female student all getting boba and various matcha and milk teas we. Old not even get in the door to order our favorite Banh Mi in town. We looked across the street and I thought, why not try a place we had never been with little hope of getting anything like we had planned. It turned out to be better than we expected, not a wow but quite satisfactory. They are stalky quite busy in late afternoons or evenings when I have walked by. Patios full of students eating and drink large portions. Good music and having fun. The staff was very helpful and friendly and though we had no plan as I usually do, gave us good advice on the menu and we found a shareable plate that made a good lunch for 2. We got the grilled fish taco plate with a side salad, though I suspect most would choose the fries that I cannot usually have as I have seen walking by. The tacos were very large, a little lighter in fish than I would have lined as it was fresh and tasty mahi with a nice slaw, sauce and lots of jack cheese. Nice warm double layer of white corn tortillas . The side salad was fresh, typical spring mix and petite tomato halves and nicely cut pieces of cu umber and shredded carrots with a light, slight sweet neutral vinaigrette dressing as some are often too acid for for me. My iced chai turns out to be our favorite local brand, Sherpa , which was founded in Boulder and has become a nationally recognized brand. But not what we started out planning for lunch when we started out on foot on a nice spring day but it was quite satisfying. read more

Still a go-to for us when we want healthy-ish (we always get fries no matter how healthy the main course) meal. Everyone is always friendly and accommodating which is an added bonus. We met friends here for Happy Hour and ended up eating dinner. My husband and I ordered the blackened mahi-mahi sandwich and another one but substituted shrimp for the fish. Great location right near CU Boulder's campus to grab a quick bite and lovely outdoor tables to sit at on a warm day. I'm not one to normally complain but the few times I've been in and order a plain bagel with cream cheese it has taken 15-20 for a simple order. As I'm the first one to order then as others pile in, the bagel happens to be the last thing brought out for such a simple breakfast option. Another really nice lunch here- I had the paleo bowl, my friend had a veggie teriyaki bowl, both delicious! Comfortable indoor seating and helpful counter service. Good patio seating when the weather cooperates. The core of the menu are bowls, which come with a choice of a base of white rice, brown rice, or quinoa. There's a good variety of proteins for the bowls, including veggie choices. The Corner also has some sandwiches and tacos on the menu, which look good but I've never tried because I always get the delicious paleo bowl, which includes beef, chicken, salad and a chimichurri sauce (all of course on the rice or quinoa base). Close to the CU campus, a good meal choice if you're on campus for an event. Parking can be tough on University Hill, my hack is to go up 13th to the block between Euclid and Aurora (along Beach Park), where street spots are often available, its only a couple of blocks to walk back to the Hill. read more
