i've been a fan of the corner for years - the food is incredible & the ambiance is nice. unfortunately, my past 2 visits (both within the same week) have been so ridiculously bad I don't think I'll ever be back. both times i have waited more than 30 minutes for my orders then asked about my order status. in both instances the cashiers truly could not have been ruder. "yeah i don't see it. you can wait." i'm happy to be patient, but i've worked in restaurants & this is unacceptable. if everyone else in my party has received their orders within 15 minutes & it's been 30 minutes of me waiting i should receive at least an apology for the wait. the food is good but you're better off ordering from doordash. read more

This place gives class to CU Campus. Their owner is a true gentelman, their staff are fun and friendly, their food is amazing and their me u has lots of healthy choices with large portions. The Corner is consistently 5 stars every single time I visit. To me, there's nothing in Boulder that compares to the fast but somewhat healthy options. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and they have plenty of vegetarian options which I love! Definitely try the breakfast sandwiches and potatoes, it's hard to resist not getting one multiple times a week! For lunch, the caprese sandwich, veggie burger, and teriyaki tofu bowl are all fantastic. Additionally, their fries are hand cut and better than anywhere around here, and don't miss the pesto mayo and chipotle mayo to dip them in! Employees are always very friendly and I'll be sad to say goodbye to this place when I move. read more

As a visitor, we had a pretty good meal at The Corner. We didn't have much time before our flight so we had a quick bite of sandwiches and fries and washed it all down with cold beer. The Corner is in a small but hip area and it's super close to UC Boulder. Even during the summer, there were quite a few young adults in the place and it's pretty fun being back on a college campus drinking beer and eating sandwiches and fries. read more

I remembered when The Corner first opened back when I was in college, and I think it was about 5-6 years ago, and honestly I'm happy they're still in business. The hill is notorious for high business turnovers so it's always sad seeing businesses leave. I think during my time at CU I've seen maybe a dozen businesses close. With that being said The Corner seems to be doing consistently well. I had their shrimp tacos with sweet potato fries and wow it was delicious. The shrimps were plump, and the chipotle sauce complimented the shrimp taste. They use corn tortilla, top the taco off with shredded cabbage. Very good restaurant overall and will definitely come back and have some more shrimp tacos! read more

I love this place!!! I just went there around 5:30 today and yelp told me to check in for a $3 main entree. I checked in. The young girl working there had said she had never seen that before. She totaled me up and it seemed high. She said it was $3 off a main entree!!??? But no where in the check in said $3 OFF! It said a $3 main entree. So can someone tell me which was right?!! I don't mind cause I like the food but want to make sure I didn't miss out on a huge deal!!! And maybe the wording was wrong and meant to be OFF! Also, totally separate time, I went in for fish tacos and asked for the white Baja sauce on my tacos, which were to-go. Got all the way home and opened up the tacos and they have the Chile sauce on them. I am sensitive to spicy things and am pretty bummed out about this!!!!!! Really darling cafe across from CU campus. Feels like it's on campus but technically it's just across the street. Came here on parents weekend, stopped in for Break of Bloody Mary and mimosas. But what a delight. Places packed and it's very healthy food!! Like gorgeous vegetable/protein bowls that made my mouth water and I don't even like veggies. Ask for Taylor from Mt. The Corner on the Hill in Boulder is a fantastic spot to grab a bite. As a student in my third year at Boulder, the corner has been one of my local favorites. After a few years of living near the hill, it is safe to say this is the best place the hill has to offer. Whether I am grabbing a quick bite on my way home from class, or showing my parents a great place when they visit the Corner always delivers. I have yet to try a menu item that has left me disappointed. All of the workers are always friendly and the food comes out in a timely manner. Everytime I go to the corner for a meal I am completely and utterly satisfied. Whether its breakfast, lunch, dinner or just a snack they always deliver. Their sandwiches are top notch, their bowls are flavorful and fresh, but my absolute favorite are the soups made fresh each day. Not only do the soups change from day to day, but there is always a meat option and a vegetarian option, and as someone who stays away from red meat and pork this is amazing. The butternut squash soup is absolutely delicious, as is the chicken tortilla soup, both are perfect for a cold winter day. I think it takes me 10 minutes to decide what I want. The rotation of soups weekly is very smart and always has me checking the website, their tortilla soup is my fav. The breakfast burrito was like home-made in the best sense of the word, with delicious chewy bits of fried potato mixed into perfectly burrito-style-scrambled eggs with enough cheese to please, but not so much as to overwhelm. I was quite excited when The Corner finally opened its doors for business. They have a small self-serve frozen yogurt selection and few toppings to choose from for a reasonable price. The menu is still in the making with fewer items but the advantage to their having a smaller menu is that everything they prepare is executed well. Another bonus about their menu is the quality of the ingredients and how healthy they are! I chose to have the steak chipotle sandwich that came on a fresh ciabatta roll with caramelized onions and sweet potato fries on the side. It was so fantastic that through the entire meal I couldn't stop myself from groaning with delight! I also didn't feel like I had a brick in my stomach afterward! We stopped in here late on a Friday night, hungry and cold and needing adult beverages. Josh, the GM was so welcoming and accommodating. Recommended sandwiches and poured us red wine. Such a chill, warm, relaxed vibe. The sandwiches were SO good!!!! We were made to feel totally at home, and comfortable to just hang out for awhile... and enjoy our food and drinks. And when our Uber ditched us, we were welcomed to wait inside and be warm, while we got another ride. Josh was great. Busting his butt cleaning and closing down (it was late!) without making us feel rushed in the least. We'll be back next time we find ourselves in Boulder! read more
