super cute place on the corner (duh) for breakfast and coffee. We got chorizo breakfast burritos, bagel, and coffees. All really good. The bagels definitely weren't fresh but the burritos were super good, highly recommend. My friend wanted something on the lunch menu but couldn't get it because lunch didn't start for another 10 minutes lol. Pretty trendy and modern restaurant situated very close to campus on the hell. Very affordably prices salads and sandwiches. Highly recommend the chicken pesto with the house sweet potato fries!! Great place for lunch! They have bowls, sandwiches and salads, all a bit pricey but portions are pretty decent. I ordered the curry bowl with veggies, quinoa and tofu, which came with an awesome coconut sauce on the side. It's super close to campus but I wish they had a student discount or something. The options on the hill for healthy food were limited and I was determined to eat healthy. So we stumbled across The Corner. It was busy so we figured that had to be a good sign. Checked out the menu and there were salads and healthy looking bowls that you can customize a variety of ways - choose your protein - white or brown rice or quinoa - sauces- paleo or vegetarian. So we gave it a go without checking the Yelp reviews - which I admit we rarely do when trying out new places or when out of town (both of which apply). After I ordered - while waiting for our food, I looked on Yelp and was fairly disheartened at some of the reviews.... I thought, well you get what you deserve, you know better than to go somewhere without checking in w my fellow yelpster foodies. Great service. Great coconut curry. So I started reading the reviews and was sad to see 1 and 2 star ratings w comments such as great food but too expensive, or took too long. This time Yelpsters you were wrong. Come on folks, you say you want healthy, it takes time to cook fresh - although ours was out in 10 min or less. Don't ruin a good healthy option because you are disgruntled about the cost. Oh my goodness!! I ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS PLACE!!! The only sad thing is that we are there just before driving to the airport to come home. The Corner is my new favorite restaurant in Boulder for when we come to visit our college boy... Our meals were amazing! I had the Paleo Bowl... Fresh greens, quinoa, avocado, steak and chicken breast, grilled onions and peppers with a chimichurri dressing. Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful and well put together. The chicken and steak was perfect... My son had the salmon sandwich with salad and my husband had a nice big bowl of steak soup with fresh bread... YUMMM! Everyone was very helpful and informative with a great attitude! Since I have never eaten there I had questions about the things on their menu and did not feel like I was putting them out. Their descriptions were very helpful and made me want to order one of everything! We will be back to try the other wonderful dishes on their menu. My friend had a chicken pesto sandwich with sweet potato fries and raved about those fries. So The Corner has a great atmosphere, It seems to have both that late night urban coffee shop vibe and a sunny day breakfast or brunch appeal. However, I was not very impressed with the quality of their breakfast sandwich. It looked like it was slopped together quickly. The combination of avocado, egg, cheese on a sesame seed bagel sounded delicious on the menu but for some reason it had just a plain, kind of boring flavor to it. Besides the so-so sandwich the customer service was great, I really felt appreciated by their friendly staff. Also, the outdoor seating on the corner is a great place to kick it with friends and soak up some morning rays. I would try it again for lunch, they had some options that looked appetizing. I went back in January and they were very clean, very beautiful food, but my ship was overdone and as chewy as rubber, the quinoa had no flavor, and the veggies had not touched a pan, only cut up raw and plated. There were a variety of different meal options and protein choices as well as different choices of rice and quinoa in your meals. The veggies had definitely been frozen before and the rice was essentially old mush. The prices for the garbage you get are way too high and so are the wait times to receive your food. I've been going to The Corner pretty much since they've opened. Needless to say I may stop going altogether as service has started to be questionable at best... sometimes good, but more often than not bad. Let me just say the quality of the food, when it is right, is pretty darned good for the price. I usually call to order breakfast before I go to my office. A couple weeks ago I was on hold for 18 minutes and no one ever answered. I called back twice and no one answered. I can only assume they were SO busy to forget and then never answer the phone. Prior to that, I had to tell someone how to make a hot chai (no, it's not always iced) as they wanted to give me a tea bag because the other chai was "always iced." But I didn't mind that so much. Lately my orders have been wrong. The veggie breakfast bagel is supposed to have avocado and tomato, not avocado or tomato. For instance, today is very dry with some avocado. Lately, it's usually one or the other. I'd like to get what I pay for and that just has not been happening. How disappointing to watch The Corner go "down hill." read more

There dishes are inconsistent. never heard of a egg sandwich with one egg, cheap fu$ckers. it is $2.50 for a cup of coffee which taste like hot water, when asking to get a fresh pot, the answer was a quick NO. Look in the kitchen, there are 4 to 6 people working in a small kitchen, each employees job is subsidized, allowing the employers to pay there employees lowest wage for watching potatoes fry. This place has a the best location of them all, but like most food establishments in this town it is half fast, and personally does not do it for me.
