This truly is a best kept secret for brunching heaven off the beaten path in Boulder. It's a beautiful melting pot of cuisine as well as guests. While it has its own parking lot there is also loads of street parking nearby - making it easy to drop folks off near then swoop a spot for your stay. Seating is offered both inside and out. They are also happy to accommodate folks with mobility concerns and/or crutches. Staff are friendly, attentive and more than likely the hardest working waitstaff in town! This is the best food we had on our trip to Denver/Boulder. We ordered the chilaquiles and the special Quesobirria Tacos and eggs. We also got a side of green chili and the house potatoes. This food was unreal good. Extremely large portions, the food itself was perfectly (not overly) spicy, seasoned well, and just straight up tasty. This is a diner at the end of the day , and everything you can expect from a local diner will be here. 5/5! The food and service was great here. We got the breakfast burrito and Denver omelette. The omelette is a deal because it comes with two sides (I got the hash browns and mini waffles). If you can get any side, the mini waffles are a must. The serving size is great for the price. They have lots of indoor and outdoor seating. We were worried that there would be a wait on a Sunday morning and limited parking, but we were seated immediately. Overall, great experience. read more

The Parkway Cafe is an excellent spot for a big breakfast. Four of us went, and no one left hungry. We had egg dishes or breakfast burritos. I liked that we were given the choice of red or green sauce, or could have both. The service is fast and efficient. They get you in, get you fed, and get you out. When you forget to take photos of your food, that's how you know the food is amazing. I've forgotten to take many photos of our orders since our first visit last week, which doesn't occur very often. I guess it's safe to say we're addicted to the parkway cafe lol. I'm normally a creature of habit when it comes to my orders, but I've made it a point to try different items on the menu. The first visit I had eggs benedict and split it with a family member since we weren't that hungry. I thought we were going to get an extra plate to split it ourselves, so when it came already split into 2 portions, we were amazed. This was the first restaurant that's ever done that for us, and we truly appreciated the gesture. The following visits, I tried their Mexican hash browns, biscuits and gravy, and hobo omelette. Everything has been amazing so far and all the dishes are reasonably priced. I like how they give you a discount if you pay with cash vs a credit card--it's not much, but I'll take a discount any day! Highly recommend this cafe to anyone who's visiting or a resident. read more

I came in wanting a simple breakfast but was tempted by the fact that they also offer Mexican dishes--it really stood out to me. I ended up going with classic eggs, bacon, toast, and their Parkway potatoes, which were fire. The food hit the spot, the vibe was great, and the service was on point--our waiter was friendly and attentive. The only downside is the parking, but that's more of a location issue and definitely not enough to take away from the restaurant itself, so I didn't let it affect my rating. Overall, solid spot for breakfast or a casual meal. (Bonus is they have outside seating) read more

Amazing hole-the-wall!!!! Stumbled upon Parkway Cafe when we arrived too early to Corwin Toyota and needed to kill time. OH-EM-GEE!!! The corned beef hash is authentic and full of flavor! Occasionally you come across a restaurant that is so good it's difficult to imagine your life before you found it. The Parkway Cafe is such a place. The Mexican Hash Browns are amazing. I added Chorizo and I hammered the whole thing. I felt like licking the plate when I finished so I wouldn't waste any of the delicious green chili. Alas, my wife wouldn't let me do it. She redeemed herself when she jokingly suggested that I use my French toast to sop it up. It was a solid recommendation among a sea of questionable life choices she's made throughout the years. The service is great and the atmosphere is too. Try this place for breakfast if you want to scratch your culinary itch. Love this place. We have been here at least once a week for 4 weeks and look forward to going back this week. Their benedict is good and their breakfast specials are a good deal and their link sausage is excellent. The staff is usually welcoming and efficient and you can save a little off your tab by paying in cash like the old days. You can use that money towards the tip. I've been coming here for years and it just keeps getting better. The chef has specials that are creative and worthy of high-end dining. Yesterday was Chilean Sea Bass on potato terine with a cheese sauce made with a stock reduction with amazing umami flavor. The crust on the fish and potatoes was spot on, and the fish was perfectly cooked. The dessert special yesterday was a crepe with a cheesecake filling topped with strawberry compote. The regular menu items have a Mexican flair to them and are also super good (breakfast enchiladas are my go to). All this in an unassuming restaurant with friendly staff.
