Definitely a hole in the wall kind of place. Hard to find as it shares a building with an auto repair and auto body shop. But once you find it, it's a gem. I was one person and got tucked into this corner of the restaurant that was bordered by a wall, so I felt like I was "out of sight, out of mind" a little bit. Took them longer than I felt it should have to get my order, and bring me my check. Aside from that, though....food was excellent. It has a large menu with American food and Mexican food. Seemed like there were lots of spanish speakers in there, so I figured their mexican food had to be pretty good. And it was. I had the chilaquiles with sunny side up eggs. A large platter with homemade tortilla chips that were perfectly crispy and just the right amount of salt. Eggs were great. But the star was the green chili. It's really, REALLY good. Great flavor and the right consistency. Also came with refried beans topped with queso fresco, and pico de gallo in a little cup which I thought was too vinegary. But ask for some Cholula instead and that's a great alternative to put on your chilaquiles. I walked away full and happy. read more

Shhhh, this is our secret! Happened upon Parkway when we were just visiting Boulder before we moved. We all immediately fell in love with the incredible food & made it one of our first stops when moving her permanently. My husband's favorite is the Migas. Big burst of flavor in every bite. We're all trying to sneak our forks onto his plate for a quick nibble. My favorite is the Parkway Omelette...with a side of pancakes. Can't ask for anything better. This little gem was delicious! I had not been able to find a spot where they have chilaquiles and this place did! I had read great reviews so decided to try it myself. I was not disappointed! The red sauce has a spicy kick which I loved. The waitress informed me it would compared to the green. I added some chorizo on the side along with some toast! The French toast were just perfect not too sweet but super fluffy. The mocha was incredible. This is definitely a spot to check out for breakfast when y97 are ready to grub! Down-home café with a little Colorado flair. We came here on the way to the airport and we weren't disappointed. My sister and I both had omelettes. Mine was stuffed with cheese, mushrooms and spinach that was fresh. You get to choose two sides and one that we both chose was chili. When the plate came the chili was a sauce that was absolutely out of this world. It came in a little bowl and was reminiscent of the juice from beans cooked down with a lot of chilies. It was delicious. My only qualm was I felt they should've thrown in a couple of biscuits or toast as an option especially for the price of $12. But overall the breakfast was quite tasty and fresh. The coffee was outstanding in the ambience was friendly and cozy. The big bonus, especially because the weather is so nice in the summer is they have a beautiful little outdoor patio. We have been going to the Parkway for years and loved it. Recently, however, it has gone downhill. They can't seem to deliver everyone's meals at the same time and/or everything that should come with the meal. I recently ordered a hamburger and fries, the hamburger was delivered and about 10 minutes later the fries finally showed up. Breakfast toast was delivered cold with the butter on the side. Quality of service has gone downhill also. Hate to see this. read more

There is a small parking lot behind the building which is where the front door is. At first we thought we were lost since this is off a Main Street and looks like you are going to a car dealership lot. When you walk in, you see a big sign to seat yourself. It was pretty busy on a Sunday morning (best day to go out for breakfast) but good sign that the food was good. We luckily found a table for two quickly. We were waited on within a couple minutes which is great. I got a coffee to start. We had time to review the menu. So many choices and can build your own breakfast in different ways. They had Mexican style breakfasts so had to really figure out what I wanted. I ordered the Migas Cuatro Quesos. Cheese? Yes, please! This dish basically is scrambled eggs over tortilla chips and smothered in cheese and green Chile sauce. Food was out pretty quickly and it was a lot! My BF got the Huevos Rancheros. He ate his whole plate and helped me finished mine. It was delicious! The crunch of the chips was a perfect added texture to the soft cheese and egg. So many good tastes. I also had gotten hash browns as my side option and they were perfectly crisp (they way they should be). I would definitely come back again if I'm in town. So many more options to try! read more

Great local restaurant for breakfast at a reasonable price with good, friendly, fast service. COVID policies in place with social distancing, mask wearing and disinfecting. Location is a little off the beaten path in an industrial area but there's free parking. I really prefer going to local places versus where the tourists go and the Yelp reviews about Parkway Cafe were right. Had Breakfast last week and It was as good as everybody has said. Asked to switch to corn tortillas for the Huevos Ranchero didn't even bat an eyelash. As good s I have had in a long time! I came in on a Sunday morning and the parking lot was packed, so was worried there would be a long wait, but I was seated right away. I ordered the migas cuatro quesos and it was very affordable at $12. The food was good and the service was overall pretty quick. When I ordered, I said that I do need a lot of water when things are spicy, but I didn't get a refill until I was pretty much done. The chili has no heat for us but hey, we eat Asian food like nothing so...but it had some darn good flavor. I had the 3 bfast sides with eggs, grits and mini waffles. I loved it all. We also ordered the spicy chicharones (sp?). They weren't spicy at all but they were really really salty. So we asked for another batch naked. While I am happy to see a tried and true local spot doing so well, it still sorta bums me out when I decide to stop-in and it's absolutely swamped. Parkway is and always has been solid. Let's just hope that the overrunning of Boulder and all that goes with it doesn't ruin this place too. Loved it when you had to "know" to know where some low-key and superb spots were. Neat spot situated in a place you would least expect but a great location. It was close to our hotel so we decided to give a try. The staff was super friendly, they were wearing masks and sat all guests socially distant. The food was amazing and the portions were HUGE!! Walked over to get a good hearty meal in the belly before a day of brewery hopping. Was seated quickly. Staff was very friendly, even though we had our Sun Devils gear on.
