I like supporting small businesses and Goodfellas seemed like a good start today. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Diner atmosphere which I like.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. They even have take-home pies and oversized cinnamon rolls. [[HIGHLIGHT]]MeTV was playing 1950s sitcoms and the music was from the 50s - 70s.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Witty dad jokes are displayed on the dividers separating the booths.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Service was much better than the food. Didn't have to wait but the place was definitely hoping!! Also Had the German pancake as a starter & because it seemed to be very popular to order.

Since we were…read moretraveling from out of state we made a reservation ahead of time - although on a Wednesday evening at 5pm, it wasn't super critical, as the restaurant never got completely full. There are multiple seating options - inside, patio, or rooftop. We opted for the rooftop and the vibes were excellent. The weather was gorgeous and the rooftop patio is nicely decorated with live plants and a big bar running the length of the patio. Our server was excellent. I think his name was Danny. One of our party has an alcohol intolerance, so needs to avoid foods cooked with alcohol. Danny was super helpful in guiding our menu options with this information. He confirmed multiple dishes with the chef before we ordered. For food, we started with the Truffle Parm Fries, Fried Brussels Sprouts, and the Bangin' Cauliflower. All were delicious. The cauliflower was extremely good, I can see why so many reviews mention it. For entrees, our group ordered the Short Rib Tacos, Jumbo Crab Cakes, Chilean Salmon, and the Avocado Salad with Seared Ahi. No complaints around the table. The meat in the Short Rib tacos is super tasty. Portions were good sized, however the Crab Cake dish is definitely smaller than the others. Good option if you aren't super hungry. The Chilean Salmon was cooked perfectly. We didn't really have any complaints at all. Solid dining experience. Would definitely return if I'm ever back in the Longmont area.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the staff is super friendly and attentive, and they have a massive food and drink menu with options for pretty much everyone. Here's a quick breakdown of what we tried: Seared Ahi: Absolutely fresh, light, and full of flavor. A standout starter. Fried Brussels Sprouts: Crispy and really good--definitely worth getting if you're a fan of Brussels sprouts (though, as with any sprouts, it depends on your palate!). Grilled Chicken Sandwich: Huge, super juicy, and packed with flavor. Crispy Chicken Sandwich: Very good, though it's a generous portion that almost feels like too much meat, but no complaints on taste! Between the extensive drink selection, creative menu, and great outdoor vibes, we had an awesome meal.

Each plate feels composed with intention, as though the kitchen understands that a meal should do more than satisfy hunger it should lift the spirit. This is food that bridges body and soul, filling you not only with substance, but with great energy and goodness galore. There is depth in the flavors, harmony in the balance, and care in every detail. You taste the freshness. You feel the thoughtfulness. You sense the pride. It's almost never on the menu, so good thing they always have standout regular loves - country bread and a perfect baguette are almost always available (but get there before noon!). They also have spectacular seasonal pastries, delicious foccacia with interesting toppings, a few delightful sandwiches, and standout desserts and sweet treats. It's carby heaven, whether you eat in (inside shared tables or outside picnic-style) or take everything home... and in that case I dare you not to tear into something on your drive. Don't try to come on Mon/Tues as they are closed then, and watch out for the peloton of cyclists on weekend mornings! Even if the line is long when you arrive, it moves quickly and the staff will always help you find something you'll love (or that will wow others when you deliver them a special treat from Babette's).

Ambiance: excellent for breakfast or brunch with friends, working solitary on your laptop, having a quick sandwich on the rooftop patio, or a work meeting (in-person would be nice because the velvet couches are legit). I really liked the attention to details (such as the hooks for hanging a purse under the countertop). Cool decor and the vibe is like somebody oversized den, but instagram-worthy, you know? Love there is a vegan option. The Vegan is colourful, lots of variety. Love mushrooms, crispy…read morepotatoes and tempeh and a couple of flavourful sauces. Would have liked a bit less oil in the dish. For me, more oil does not mean more flavor; it means more slime. Was having a LOVELY quiet little lunch for one, in the restaurant which was slowing down to close. 85% of the tables were empty. The host made the choice to sit two people on a "let's get to know each other" work date, at the table right next to me. PLENTY of empty tables in the joint. One table over would have been amazing. My relaxing lunch was over as I had no interest in being in the middle of their "let me tell you about my childhood" conversation. Slow Thursday. . . Not a Saturday or Sunday when all tables are jumping.

My family and I went on a Friday morning around 10am and were seated immediately without a wait. The food was just okay. Our group ordered the Eggs Your Way (with Bacon), Full English Breakfast, Corned Beef Hash, and the Tangerine Breakfast Combo. The Eggs Your Way and Tangerine Breakfast Combo are pretty standard breakfast restaurant offerings. Eggs, Meat, Potatoes, Toast. Decent and did their job. The Full English Breakfast wasn't great. The person who ordered it said it was unseasoned and unimpressive. We've had a Full English in the UK - and this is no where near the real deal. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash. It was ok. Flavor-wise, it was seasoned well. However, the corned beef was cut into large cubes. Approximately the same size as a breakfast potato. I wasn't a fan of this rendition. I prefer when it's finely chopped or shredded. This version didn't really feel like a hash. Definitely got the impression this place is hit or miss. Not sure I'd come back personally, but overall it wasn't terrible.
