This is how the night went... I ordered water with lime that got water with lemon. Not a huge deal but sign of how the rest of the night was going to go. Friend ordered chicken marsala and said no cheese on anything and we reiterated on anything. His food comes with asiago potatoes. What is asiago? Cheese. The server had the audacity to tell him that's how they come so next time he should order them without potatoes. He didn't know they were cheesy potatoes. It's her job to say they come with cheesy potatoes would you like to substitute it with something else. Mine and his wife's water were never refilled, and we were empty. He asked for a glass of water which never came so he had to ask again. So if the service wasn't bad enough, the food took care of it. It was terrible. I barely ate any of my chicken Parm. The sauce is so gross. It is just like canned tomato sauce dumped on the pasta. It had absolutely no seasoning. It just tasted like sugar so I didn't touch the pasta at all. The chicken was terrible. My friend didn't like the marsala and clearly could not eat the cheesy potatoes. The breadsticks we got were disgusting. They were practically white and doughy and undercooked. When I look at pictures of other peoples in the reviews that actually look baked ours look nothing like that they were horrible. How is this place in business? First and last time read more

This restaurant was recommended to us in our ever long quest as former New Jerseyans to find good Italian food outside of NY & NJ. Even though we've lived in the Longmont area for over 20 years, today was the first time that we visited Pinocchio's. It's a small, cute restaurant. We were seated immediately. Initially my wife ordered a glass of sparkling water with lemon which was very good (I tried some). In Italy, sparkling water is called "frizzante". I ordered a glass of Chardonnay. Very yummy. My wife later ordered a glass of Pinot Grigio. That was delicious. We shared a bowl of pasta. It could have been a bit more al dente but it was tasty. There were only two servers, so service was a bit slow. Not too bad. Overall, a decent visit. We were stationed in Italy for four years at Aviano Air Base in northeast Italy. Cheers! read more

This place has really gone downhill in the past 5 years. I got the chicken Marsala and it tasted really gummy, and the side was sweet potatoes which were hard as a rock and completely inedible. I can't believe that dish costs $25 it was extremely overpriced and not quality Italian at all. I will never come back here but the waitstaff was friendly. read more

We have visited many times each year. The food and orders have gotten worse. Our last visit just yesterday the salad was a mess and small and lettuce was old. The dish I ordered came out wrong. We had a very enjoyable lunch in this warm, friendly Italian restaurant! Beautiful side salads, generous portions, and freshly prepared pastas and bread sticks. The decor is spacious with warm red walls and classic and famous black and white photos. The colorful flowered plates added to the joyful Italian vibe. The breakfast menu looks awesome too so will have to visit again soon. It has about 6 different Benedict's, omelettes, and sweet treats, and the usual eggs and meats. While not hardly reminiscent of trattoria in Italy there is a welcoming atmosphere and homely feel My wife had gluten free lasagna with mushroom medley which she said melted in her mouth. We really like this place (and the one in Loveland). Was just there with a large group of out-of-towners and had a great time. Chicken parm comes with pasta and veggies which is a nice difference. Meatballs are big. Dessert was great. And the breadsticks are freaking awesome. Everyone was stuffed. Service was solid especially considering the large group. read more

If I tell a lie about Pinocchio's, may my nose never stop growing... My biggest complaint after dining here for the first time is the wait staff. It was a good 10 to 15 minutes before my waitress came over tonight to take my order. I honestly started wondering if she had a shift change and left for the night. She seemed to be in a hurry to take my order, ripping the menu out of my hand and dashing away before I even stopped talking. Why the rush when the dining room is empty? One thing that really bothers me is when I am given a dish with the food being scolding hot to bite into and the wait staff doesn't give you a heads up. I burned my mouth. The food itself was so so. The bread sticks were odd looking. The place was so dimly lit I could barely see the menu. Waitress didn't ask me about dessert, etc. Just planted the check and left. The breadsticks are clouds basted in butter, absolutely delicious. We found this place kind of accidentally a month ago and just had to go back. I think it's really good, we had family visiting from out of town both times we went there and everyone seemed pleased with their food. Service was a little bit slow, but I only saw one waitperson there, so with that in mind, she was absolutely a rock star, balancing the whole restaurant like that. We used to love this place. I could tell they are having trouble... they are cutting corners with everything. Coffee tastes like water, hollandaise a package mix. Asked for tomato juice and they didn't have any, not even in the bar where they use a mix for Bloody Marys. Potatoes and eggs had a funny flavor... like old oil. Won't be back. read more

Had lunch here, on this snowy May day. We were the only customers, and the lady who sat and served us sure did like to point that out. We were pleasant with her, thinking she'd eventually warm up to us, but no. She didn't want to wait on us and she made it very clear lmao! We ordered the Italian sodas, half moon fried cheese appetizers, lasagne, and chicken ravioli. The lasagne was... mushy? lol that's the only way to describe it, because it was tasteless and uninspired. I didn't finish and didn't want to take the rest home. I got to try the chicken ravioli, that was tasty enough. The best part of the meal were the Italian sodas. Not trying to be mean, but we both agreed. They were so yummy! Last part of the experience was... gross. An employee was in the bathroom stall next to me and left without washing their hands. Went straight out the door from the stall. Nasty. Hoping it wasn't Kitchen staff, but our "lovely" waitress was the only waitstaff, and she wasn't in that bathroom. All said, we had a fun time because we just bring the fun, no matter the circumstances! Hopefully our waitress is in a better mood by now! I won't be rushing to go back here anytime soon, unless I want a delicious Italian soda. I hate to give a lower review to an Italian restaurant as it's one of my favorite types of food. However, this place didn't do much for either of us. We came shortly after opening so maybe it's gotten better (Yes, I am late in reviewing, it happens) but we felt like it was, as my DH put it, "a fancy place for people used to eating fast food or Applebee's" - in other words, it wasn't for us. The sauce was bland, the bread not well seasoned, and the service just ok. But that said, it's one of only a few Italian places in Longmont so if you really like that type of food, I recommend trying it out for yourself! read more

I've eaten at the Pinocchio's near Fredrick and the food is delicious but very lax with Covid19 protection, letting people in without masks and sign on front door saying if you're fearful don't come in. Weld county doesn't adhere to Colorado governor's Covid19 guidelines. I'll go to another Pinocchio's. read more
