We had a very enjoyable lunch in this warm, friendly Italian restaurant! Beautiful side salads, generous portions, and freshly prepared pastas and bread sticks. The decor is spacious with warm red walls and classic and famous black and white photos. The colorful flowered plates added to the joyful Italian vibe. The breakfast menu looks awesome too so will have to visit again soon. It has about 6 different Benedict's, omelettes, and sweet treats, and the usual eggs and meats. Everything was delicious!

This is a dream come true for this Italian food lover!! Excellent food, service, and nice…read moreambiance. I came here with a group of 24 people FOR LUNCH and we were greeted warmly and each of us were treated like VIP's. Starting with the in-house made bread that was FRESH and crusty but soft inside. The bread was served with olive oil and was a a great way to kick off the meal. The menu has so many choices it's hard to choose what to try. I decided to start with the ZUPPA CAPRESE soup- $8 Roasted garlic, tomato and basil with melted mozzarella crostini. Mmm mmm good! EXCELLENT layering of fresh flavors. Next I got the lunch antipasti - appetizer with steak and fire roasted peppers and eggplant. The complexity of flavors was absolutely incredible. There was enough food to make a nice meal. I didn't need anything else! Alas, the linguine putanesca - Linguine, olives, capers, garlic, tomato basil sauce called my name and I could not say no. I added some grilled chicken for protein. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was so flavorful! My only complaints are that I probably had one or 2 olives total, once you add up the little pieces. Also, that chicken I added? $6 for 6 tiny little partial chicken strips. Overall, given the great flavor and excellent service, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant! Troy - thank you for making each of us feel welcome. Bravissimo, Caprese Trattoria! I'll be back!

Had a birthday celebration here the other night, must have been Prom night as half the restaurant…read morewas swamped with teens in glitter and hairspray. Had all the usual suspects, escargot, calamari, veal piccata, veal parm, and chicken parm. I decided to try the special braciole beef rolls which I was thrilled to see on the menu. HUGE MISTAKE. Dry, overcooked lumps of beef with no flavor whatsoever. The visual should have been my first clue. I should have sent it back. I let the table try it and the consensus was that it was not edible. Not wanting to make a fuss, which I regret now, I waited till dessert to mention it to the waiter. He seemed skeptical. Since virtually it was intact I suggested that the kitchen try it. I only ate one of the doughy gnocchi and so the plate was intact with the pasta. He later came back and said they would discount it 50%. Better than nothing, but still not good enough. We eat here often and that was the only really big miss. They need to learn how to cook that dish or eliminate it from the menu. We are returning for another birthday this week, but we are all going to avoid any specials from now on. The gelato was superb! Really smooth and satisfying.

All good. I loved having a view of the bustle of the restaurant and especially all the parties celebrating birthdays. A few employees would gather at the table while delivering dessert and sing happy birthday. A few patrons like me joined them in the serenade. Such a warm, family vibe. A lovely gentleman sat in the open bar stool next to me. Turns out he's a regular and longtime Boulder resident. He gave me some menu tips. Plus it was fun to learn about him and his business. I had the red wine on tap. Delicious and $9. Two favorite qualities in wine. I got the bolognese with linguini. It was beyond fabulous. Insert chef's kiss! I took a small container home because I knew it would make a perfect lunch the next day, and it was. The rolls are divine. Hard, crunchy exterior with softness on the interior. I had one there and brought a second home to enjoy with lunch the next day. I know how to live. I enjoyed a short chat with Mariano, the owner's son who basically grew up there. It reminded me of all my favorite places in Philadelphia where I'm originally from. I had been missing my casual Italian restaurant places but now I've found my new home. Cin Cin! Standout personalities in the best way! As a foodie, this place was made for me. I always veer towards the more interesting flavors and the pastas were a standout! So good!!! It set the bar into the stratosphere for the entree, so I think I was a little disappointed with the grouper. The flavors were nice but nothing super unique, and I couldn't really taste the truffle despite it being front and center on the fish. Then we got the squash and cheesecake ice creams. OMG! Fantastic! I have never had squash ice cream before but WOW! They were not afraid to keep it at just the right sweetness, even adding some balsamic on top which went surprisingly great. And the ice crystals were so fine that it was more like a decadent gelato than an ice cream. Overall, absolutely stunning meal and experience. It was a little pricey, especially the entree for the portions but that's expected in fine dining, just something to note (38-48/pp entrees, we shared one but overall bill was still $150 w/o tip). We would have left hungry had it not been for the ice cream. Though, I can't even be mad, since I don't usually get dessert but I'm so glad I did! Be ready for a menu that needs a walkthrough and a feast for the senses. Thank you for giving me an experience I haven't been able to find around Boulder, just for that it's worth the price.
