Great experience! Located in a strip mall right next to the movie theater, my husband and I were in town for a doctors appointment and stopped in for lunch. You order at the counter and are greeted by the friendly staff take your number and they will bring the food to you. I had the original euro which was delicious. I just wish I had a little bit more sauce. We also had the falafel balls which were a little dry, but still quite delicious. My husband had the euro with the french fries inside. That's not really my style, but the french fries were amazing. The decor everywhere from the ceiling to the floor was so well put together very bright. Very fun. They did a great job even though this is a chain. Our experience at this location was top-notch over by the pot machine. They even have board games and coloring pages for the kids and they offer a full bar so I can definitely see this being a great gathering spot for friends or family for an extended stay. read more

Spitz - Longmont - Mediterranean Near Me - Longmont, Colorado

Located right next to the movie theatre is Spitz, a mediterranean feast. When walking in there are various tables you can sit at. You order at the counter and they give you a number to take to your table. So if you are new to this place, I would grab a menu and take a seat somewhere before ordering, if you haven't had a chance to look at the menu. My husband and I wanted to get a wide array of what was on the menu but we opted for the loaded street cart fries with a mix of sweet potato and regular fries and the OG gyro with beef and lamb mix. Because I wanted to try the chicken gyro I got the mixed meat for my street cart fries. They accidentally forgot to put it on my fries so I got it as a side. The food was really good, especially the sweet potato fries with a side of garlic aïoli. The fries inside of the gyro were pretty good, but I would but felt it was overloaded by other flavors. I also got a drink of a passionfruit Mezcal, which was nice and smoky. Overall, I would come back to the spot, but it is definitely not an everyday spot due to price point. It was around $52 for the two entrees, the drink and tip. read more

This place is sick. Best fast casual Greek spot we've had yet. Would recommend sweet potato fries

Highly disappointing experience. We ordered an OG gyro with paid double protein, wings, and half-and-half fries. Upon arrival, we were told the wings were sold out. While we declined a substitution, staff struggled trying to refund the wings. On the ride home, my wife decided to sample the fries; to her displeasure, they were stone cold, and the gyro was barely warm. Adding to the frustration was the skimpy portion size of protein on our gyro. We opted for the additional $4.50 upcharge for double protein, but there were only 4 small pieces of meat. The meat wasn't the normal shaved slices; instead, it was 4 small chunks. We ultimately had to turn around and return the entire order. Fortunately, the staff refunded the rest of the order. Very disappointing experience. read more

I have new here three times each time I was hoping to be pleasantly surprised but each time it fell a bit flat. The flavors are okay and I think the ideas are good in theory but execution falls a bit flat. The price for what you receive also isn't stellar but I will say the service was adequate each time I went here. read more

I was pleasantly surprised by this chain. Street cart fries (regular and sweet potato fries, with added beef) were good, portion size was big. Meds Bowl was filling and tasty. It wasn't too busy, and food came out quickly. We were checked in on enough times, not too many. People were nice. Ambiance was comfortable, casual. There were TVs on showing a football game. I would definitely return. read more

Shout out to the owner he always pops around to say hello. Today I went for chicken gyro and Greek salad amazing as always, they do it as a combo and drink for like $16 great price !! read more

Spitz - Longmont - Combo chicken gyro and Greek salad minus olives and drink $16 - Mediterranean Near Me - Longmont, Colorado

The service is fine, the food is ok. For me, the food is just too many flavors and not enough good wholesome basics. Every component seems spiced in some way and instead of a singular flavor profile shining through the food it's just a mish mash of all different kinds of foods that over work my palate. I am not a huge fan of the fries too, they are always a bit dry and too skinny. The concept is cool, and I hope that they continue to thrive in their location. I know the rent is not cheap in that shopping center. Its more of a "sometimes" place we would only go to a few times a year if we didn't have many other choices. The prices are barely ok for what they offer. However I wouldn't judge on that since all restaurants these days seem to have forgotten that none of the working class salaries have increased in the craze of prices changing. Makes it easier to not go, than be tempted to spend money on food that is "just ok" read more

Our first experience at Spitz was great. Food was good, nice atmosphere, and the bar/drinks were a great addition. However, the second time we came, they said it'd be at 45 minute wait for food, and when a guy came in behind us they told him they weren't accepting any more orders. It appeared as though there were only 3 employees (I could be wrong), and they were drowning. If you're located in one of the busiest parts of town, and you are having to turn people away on a weeknight, probably need to look at hiring more folks. read more

I really like this place. It is casual Mediterranean but tasty. You should check it out.

Decent Mediterranean food. Pita Chips were an A, Gyro was a B, Falafel were a C. Uninspiring wine selections but great selection of local beer (thank you). I little to fast foody feeling for my taste but being by the movie theatre they probably tailor to people looking for a quick bit. read more

Spitz is consistently SO GOOD. Every time I am near it, I am compelled to order takeout or eat there. Everything I've had is delicious, and their doner wraps and sweet potato fries are delicious. read more

Saturdays usually wind up being a 'no cook' night for us, so we generally get takeout from a variety of places. Over the past 6(?) months Spitz becomes more of a target for me. Sure it's 'fast food', but damn... You sure don't feel like you have eaten 'fast food'. The veggies are always fresh, and the bread nice and soft. I have never actually eaten inside, but the takeaway is just great. read more

Ordering online was easy and the food was ready on time. Service at the restaurant was friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, both entrees were made incorrectly. Good food but perhaps hasty prep. read more

Longmont was missing great Mediterranean food, but not anymore! I had a gyro with a Greek side salad and my husband had the Medibowl, a kind of protein bowl with a mix of meat, vegetables and hummus. All of my food was fresh and had a fabulous balance of flavors. The fries on the gyro were an interesting touch; I don't know that I'd add them next time, as it has plenty of flavor on its own. I loved every bite of the salad. The service is fast and friendly, the restaurant is cute and clean. I'll be back often to try everything else! read more

Spitz - Longmont - Gyro combo with Greek side salad - Mediterranean Near Me - Longmont, Colorado

Really was excited to try this place cause of reviews and great location. Boy was I disappointed. First of all, calling their doner a doner is an insult to doners. It was hardly a doner but rather more of a wrap. Also the bread/tortilla was rather tough and not great. We thought they spiffed us on the sauce and forgot to add it in there, then at the end of our doner we saw the smallest amount of sauce. And definitely not enough meat and too much cabbage. If this was a wrap, it's decent, but as a doner it's incorrigible. Will have to go back just to try their gyros as a second chance read more

Amazing food and amazing service, I got the gyro combo with fried pita bread and hummus and it was some of the best Greek food I've ever had! lovely urban vibe and music! Highly recommend! read more

Jocelyne is the sweetest waitress/host ever. She took the time to go over the menu with me, by the way this was my first time trying Mediterranean food. She was very detailed with her description of the food and helped me make the first choice. The food was delish, the restaurant was clean, and the service was amazing! read more

I have to say that I very much enjoyed coming here. The atmosphere was great. Service was great. You go up and order your food and they bring it out to you. A few things to note, my father got a wrap and it tasted like soap not sure why my gyro was delicious but I do wish it had more Taziki! The baklava roll was lacking nuts. I'd be back despite the bumps in the road! read more

Wow! Wow! Wow! I went into the restaurant next-door and there was some sort of a biker club rally going on, and I really didn't want to have to deal with 200 leather-wearing idiots. So I decided to try this place out. I am so glad I did! Great seasoning, hot and fresh. Good price on beer, I'll be back. read more

I'm not sure how to rate this...I'd give 3.5 if I could maybe a 4 if I had realized that it was a fastish food place. The service was great and the ambience fun. I got the falafel Donner. Presentation was great but after a few bites, I lost the difference of taste between the food items. Just kinda bland. I added their hot sauce options though and that spiced things up. Hot sauce choices were excellent. My friend had the gryo and that was pretty good. Definitely not dry which I always brace for. Plenty of food. read more

I've been 3 times, the first 2 times things went well and the food was good! The 3rd time some simple things went wrong. Gin & Tonic is a simple drink way too much tonic and missing the Lime. Our order was made incorrectly, when I told the hostess she didn't offer to remake it, I requested she speak to the cook he came out I explained that we didn't get what we ordered and he apologized and remade it correctly. Sort of spoiled the mood so we took it to go and left. I'm not sure we will go back. read more

First thing I noticed was the friendly staff, who were all so efficient during busy lunch hours. I ordered the Street Cart Doner Wrap which was fresh and delicious! We first discovered Spitz on a road trip to Salt Lake City a few years ago and were thrilled when we heard they were coming to Longmont. It's quickly become one of our favorite spots in town; consistently delicious, always fresh, decent menu variety, and reasonable prices for the portion size (you can easily make 2 meals out of a wrap or bowl). We're big fans of the doner wraps and bowls in particular. Plus it's a relatively guilt-free meal and you simply can't get anything else like it in town! Easy 5-star recommendation, be sure to check them out read more

What an experience. Amazing food, Mediterranean cuisine leveled up. Customer experience is also fun. Ambiance is wonderful.

The food is always super delicious! The service is incredibly friendly, and the whole vibe is just amazing!

Worth it. Delicious sauces and hot food at a value. Big portions. Baklava was a perfect last touch

I came in to get food at 7:48 didn't get it till 8:19 and my food was cold told whoever was working that my waffle fires were cold and didn't care I bought another batch because I don't like cold food. Not even offering a fresh batch or anything also there was only like 3-4 people here so why did it take so long? read more
