It took an hour for the waiter to bring inedible eggplant parm that was so chewy, I couldn't eat it. I wouldn't waste your money here.

Really liked this place, I had the lasagna and it was awesome! Only downside I could think of was I wish they had draft beer available.

Terrific place. We now go there every week for dinner. I especially enjoy the salmon. Food and atmosphere are first rate.

One of the nearest places we could find open that had decent reviews and food we wanted to eat was Lefty's gourmet pizza. We found ourselves walking in here just a short drive later. They were due to close in about 45 minutes and it didn't look like table service was to be had. However, after asking nicely, the owner was only too glad to accommodate us, and a table was found for the three of us. While we were there, a couple other local people came in to pick up pizzas, but for the most part we had his full and undivided attention. I must say, it was one of the most entertaining dining experiences I have had in quite some time. Our discussion topics ranged from pizza making, to Astrophysics, to Kung Fu, to puns, and bad dad jokes. The pizza was excellent, and the total value experience with the owner was special indeed. We wound up ordering Craig's Cardiac Arrest. This is basically a meat lovers pizza with pepperoni, ham, sausage, and bacon. This was served on a nicely thin crust with a very zingy tomato sauce. This combo is not typically my favorite, as even though I really like dead animal protein on my pizza, I also like a little more variety and not just meat on meat on meat action. But, my two carnivorous dining companions wolfed this pie down in no time. I savored my two pieces and washed it all down with a frosty Mexican Coca-Cola. I will definitely be back should I find myself in the area.

Such a moment arrived as I stepped into Antonio's, where the warm, amber light fell upon the counter like a benediction, and two slices, humble in form, heroic in spirit called out with the quiet confidence of things well crafted and sure of their welcome. The Calabrian Spicy slice stood first, crimson-kissed by oils that shimmered like sunlight on distant southern seas. Its peppered heat did not assault the senses, but rose instead like a disciplined flame, bright and earnest, coaxing forth the deeper notes of the cheese and the well-rested dough beneath. It was as though Calabria itself, with its windswept coasts and ancient hills, had whispered into the ear of the baker, bidding him craft a slice that speaks of vigor, warmth, and unapologetic fire. Each bite unfurled like a stanza, bold yet harmonious, a small poem forged in spice and heat. Beside it, in gracious contrast, lay the Chicken Tikka Marsala slice a traveler from distant lands, bearing with it the fragrance of cardamom twilight and saffron dawns. The sauce, rich as a painter's final stroke on canvas, carried the gentle mysticism of the East. It wrapped the chicken in a cloak of warm spices, tender and abundant. This slice did not seek to conquer the appetite with intensity; rather, it invited the diner into its quiet temple, where flavor deepens like thought in the reflective hours of evening. It was a pilgrimage in a single plate, a meeting place of continents upon a sheet of humble dough. Together, these slices formed a duet: one fiery, one contemplative; one singing the high, bright music of Mediterranean fervor, the other murmuring the resonant, soulful hymns of the Indian subcontinent. And Antonio's wise curator of this delicious conversation stood as the keeper of a table where worlds are not only bridged but joyously celebrated. To eat them was to be reminded that even in the simplest corners of our days, delight waits: warm, aromatic, and ready to crown the humble with a taste that lingers long after the final bite has gone.

I came here with a group of 24 people FOR LUNCH and we were greeted warmly and each of us were treated like VIP's. Starting with the in-house made bread that was FRESH and crusty but soft inside. The bread was served with olive oil and was a a great way to kick off the meal. The menu has so many choices it's hard to choose what to try. I decided to start with the ZUPPA CAPRESE soup- $8 Roasted garlic, tomato and basil with melted mozzarella crostini. Mmm mmm good! EXCELLENT layering of fresh flavors. Next I got the lunch antipasti - appetizer with steak and fire roasted peppers and eggplant. The complexity of flavors was absolutely incredible. There was enough food to make a nice meal. I didn't need anything else! Alas, the linguine putanesca - Linguine, olives, capers, garlic, tomato basil sauce called my name and I could not say no. I added some grilled chicken for protein. The pasta was cooked to perfection. The sauce was so flavorful! My only complaints are that I probably had one or 2 olives total, once you add up the little pieces. Also, that chicken I added? $6 for 6 tiny little partial chicken strips. Overall, given the great flavor and excellent service, this is my new favorite Italian restaurant! Troy - thank you for making each of us feel welcome. Bravissimo, Caprese Trattoria! I'll be back!

Had all the usual suspects, escargot, calamari, veal piccata, veal parm, and chicken parm. I decided to try the special braciole beef rolls which I was thrilled to see on the menu. HUGE MISTAKE. Dry, overcooked lumps of beef with no flavor whatsoever. The visual should have been my first clue. I should have sent it back. I let the table try it and the consensus was that it was not edible. Not wanting to make a fuss, which I regret now, I waited till dessert to mention it to the waiter. He seemed skeptical. Since virtually it was intact I suggested that the kitchen try it. I only ate one of the doughy gnocchi and so the plate was intact with the pasta. He later came back and said they would discount it 50%. Better than nothing, but still not good enough. We eat here often and that was the only really big miss. They need to learn how to cook that dish or eliminate it from the menu. We are returning for another birthday this week, but we are all going to avoid any specials from now on. The gelato was superb! Really smooth and satisfying.
