My husband chose Wholly Stromboli for a date night. The drive was long and I was hoping the food would be worth it. First of all, this place is so fun. The decor is not your normal restaurant; it is fun and interesting. The staff is kind and attentive. I had a lemon drop martini to start, and it was delicious. We had the Italian Chips and Queso to start. I really liked the first bite, but it just wasn't for me. I had the chicken Parmesan as a main course, and it was delicious. It was way too much food, and it was great the next day. For dessert, we ordered cannolis. They were so good! The bottles of wine were affordable for a restaurant; we are talking bottles starting at $29. It is worth the drive to Ft. Lupton to check this place out.

The food and drink at Wholly Stromboli is always fabulous. Our recent visit was to attend the Halloween Murder Mystery Dinner at the Speakeasy and boy, what a wicked good time we had! A majority of the audience played a part into the "whodunnit" event that was a little chaotic at times. The quirky plot and high energy cast (duo) kept everyone engaged and entertained. There were quite a few random moments and some off the wall characters (a world champion beaver wrestler?) but it truly made for a fun and memorable night. Really excited for future events and stoked about the restaurant's expansion (planning for a Spring '26 debut). By the way, Erik is fantastic at his craft....the Death by Chocolate Gelato was truly to die for. Amazingly deee-lish!

Garlic knots were fresh and perfect as we were hungry after visiting wild animal sanctuary.

Fantastic!!! The garlic knots and homemade sauce is delicious! The service is friendly and helpful. Shout out to Savanna our waitress who made our lunch stop such a pleasure. The ambiance was light and the NY themed restaurant was welcoming being from Connecticut and a visitor to Colorado. Ohhh did you know they are a world winner for pizza?? A must stop.

The food was nothing short of extraordinary. Every dish was beautifully presented, but more importantly, each bite delivered layers of flavor that felt both creative and perfectly balanced. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and thoughtfully selected. The chef clearly knows how to elevate classic ideas while still keeping them comforting and satisfying. The atmosphere was amazing and I felt like I traveled to New York.

First time visiting this location. Upon being seated our waiter asked what we would like to drink. When we asked what they offered he pointed to drink menu on the table and advised for us to look at the menu and walked away. Not the best start to a new location. We decided to order 2 dishes and share. We ordered the Philly Cheesesteak with a side of fries and a 10' pizza with pepperoni, sausage, and pineapple. We were going to order a 20' pizza however, the waiter advised it was quite large and since we were sharing a 10' would be best. We did appreciate his advice since the pizza was ok. The cheesesteak was good and definitely shareable. Overall it was good however, not sure we will be visiting again soon.

Second attempt to not overcook it

First Stromboli we received was so burnt the knife wouldn't cut it and they still brang it to us , this picture is the sevond one still burnt but dough on the inside and we were still charged 27 .00 for this

I have a gem of a spot for you to check out in Fort Lupton. It's about 40 minutes drive from Denver. Go when you wanna relax. So many things to highlight, so I've broken them into a story or stories. @wholly_stromboli will surprise you! They serve delicious Italian food! They also have this gorgeous Speakeasy in the basement! It's a must do! Make it a date night! Everything about Wholly Stromboli is unique. Husband & Wife Melissa and Eric Rickman owns it. I've met and spoken to Melissa and enjoyed chatting with her. Gorgeous lady and a very gracious hostess. She suggested some dishes. Everything that she mentioned were in my list of must try! So the dishes below are all her fave and we love them! Can't pick just one! Melissa's Favorites:( now mine too) Garlic Knots Italian Nachos Baltic Circle Pizza (winning pie) The Hulapeño Stromboli Chicken Parmigiana Mom's Bread Pudding. You just have to get this. Tips and whispers: They're absolutely busy. No reservation. First come first served ONLY. They will only sit a completed party. They're 10 years old in a historic building that was originally built in 1889, burnt down and rebuilt. There's whispers that a couple of spirits do linger around the building. They have probably the most aesthetically pleasing a beaSpeakeasy in the basement! A must-do!

Updating my review. We came today for 3 strombolis and a kids meal. We were sat close to the kitchen and watched our food sit at the kitchen window for 10 minutes. I know this for sure because I texted my husband about it and it was time stamped. Our food was lukewarm. They also raised their prices considerably since the last time we went. I would expect hot food and good service for the prices. Not lukewarm old food.

Triple by pass boli served by Nikki. This is the best. Make the drive it is worth it.

Looking for places to eat in Ft Lupton could get frustrating because there isn't much of a variety…read more Luckily we found this little hidden gem. We were a little skeptical at first but I am so glad we went ahead and tried it. There aren't many tables so the wait might be long if they get packed. Luckily we came when there was still a table available. One important thing to remember is to not expect your food come out fast. They even have a sign on the wall saying this. My roommate ordered the breakfast bowl. This bowl is hearty and can easily feed 2 people! On top of that she ordered pancakes as a side and this thing is as big as a large pizza! The to go box is a pizza box. I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken. This was actually less food than the bowl. I was surprised how good this dish was. Crispy and full of flavor, this dish was delicious.. I also ordered the pancake and got the same size pancake. Our server was really nice and she was the only one waiting tables. So I can definitely understand why food comes out slowly. This just gives you more time to read the stuff on the walls which is pretty interesting. The place is pretty clean, including the bathrooms. You can tell the people work here takes pride in their restaurant.

I ordered the slam as I like pancakes with my eggs and sausage. I was going to order a side of hash browns and the very nice waitress said you may rethink that as the pancakes are large. I took her advice. Well my meal came out and I was shocked. Two pancakes on a pizza pan. The food and all were great. The place is just a comfy, homie place to enjoy a great fresh meal. My wife ordered a breakfast bowl with green chili. It was great and the green chili was very good. We both had to go boxes and I will be eating on the pancakes for a few days. The portions are off the chart so bring your appetite. We will go back and would highly recommend you put the Copper Kettle on your list to try. You won't be sorry.
