The waiter (our group didn't get his name) brought mistaken bills (same bill for two of us even though we had different meals) and then took the cards back and redid the bills (but made another mistake) and had to take the cards back again for the third time. We just thought he was just inept but when the charges for Uber came through, we had second thoughts about him. Just a little warning to always check your credit card statements!

We were a party of seven wedged onto a six-top, which, coupled with the plenitude of glasses, plates for apps and salads and entrees, plus water bottles and wine carafes, made for a crowded dining experience. We also had the Risotto Funghi e Tartufo, which was earthy, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right amount of truffle (not overpowering at all and the roasted mushroom medley was crispy and to die for. For dessert, the Crema Cotta al Pistacchio was the perfect finish--light, slightly nutty, and not overly sweet, with a great texture from the brûlée top and pistachio praline. The fruit was fresh and the entire dessert was perfectly balanced and proportioned. What really elevated the experience, though, was the manager Alessandro. After that she came back with water pretty quickly, but tried to take our order- we were still looking at appetizers but they have a small 2 page menu. We asked for more time and I finished 3 cups of water in 25 minutes and decided 35 minutes was too much to wait just to put our order in. Went somewhere else and even though we had to drive further out we were seated immediately and had our order taken within 10 minutes. I feel like another server or busboy or something would have relieved a lot of our waitress' stress but there was no acknowledgment, she wasn't even looking at our table when she was coming by. We just felt kind of ignored since we came in and I assume she was super overwhelmed by the volume of people. The last straw was when she started taking the order for people who were seated well after us.
