My husband and I were on a Sunday drive when we spotted Ben's and decided to try. We loved their large patio so we could sit outside with our dogs. This is a really great pizza. I ordered a chicken Alfredo also, and both "The Dad" pizza and Alfredo pasta were delicious. This place has the formula down. And there's a really unique pizza oven that spins inside and looks cool too. I liked so much I went back two nights in a row and will go anytime I run into the place. read more

We love eating BYO calzones here. We make it a point to dine here at least once on a couple of months. Today 09/29) we were there around 12:30 pm disappointed. All the required topping were there except jalapeno. This ingredient gives a bite to the food. Had one of your staff come and inquired about the food, I would have asked her as why jalapeno was not added. After eating, on the way out I did ask the staff and they insisted that jalapeno was added and was about to give it to me in a cup and I declined since we had finished eating. Amazing gluten-free dough. I don't know if they locally source their GF crust or make it in-house, but it can't be a frozen crust. ?? I devoured my whole small pizza. Sorry no pics, but the crust is great. One of the best I've had in a world of frozen, bland GF pizza. One of those where I had to pause and question if I had perhaps received non-GF. The place looks decent enough to hang out and eat but typically I just pop in to grab my order and get back out on the road. The only improvement would be a more friendly experience with the people at the checkout counter. I'm parked here at the Love's Truckstop. They're not a lot of food options other than a Subway, Carl's Jr and this little place. I decided to check it out tonight. I ordered "The Dad" pizza. The large pizza is 12" which is pretty small. I was expecting a pizza with a crispy bottom because it is a brick oven joint. Unfortunately it was not. I also ordered the pasta with Alfredo sauce. It's essentially a rotini noodles with some Alfredo sauce, mixed in and baked in the oven. It's nothing to write home about. You can add additional toppings to the pasta, which are geared more towards pizza. They also offered calzones I do not choose to order one because I'm a traditionalist, and they did not use ricotta.. They used mozzarella instead so I passed. I don't wanna be overly critical about this place because it is a small local joint and I believe in supporting small, locally ran businesses . It's the only game in town other than fast food. It comes down to options if you park here. This is the best option they have. read more

We happen to see this place while getting gas from Loves! Since being on the road we have not had any pizza and he was in need of some. I called and place an order for two personal pizza which comes with 8 slices. We waiting for a little bit then I proceed to the location which is walking distance from the truck stop. I think the pizza place also has a dental place attached due to the sign on the building. After walking in the place is really nice and roomy , with a seating area where you can watch tv, even looks like they can hold a party in one of those room. The oven they use is really cute and looks like it gets the job done. When walking in my pizza just went into the oven and it was out in no time. think crust pepperoni pizza. My family loves Ben's Pizza. We stumbled upon the restaurant a few years back and love to go there as a special treat. We drove from Strasburg to go. But today we drove from Strasburg to Parker to Hudson for an errand but ultimately ended up eating at Ben's. Tonight I tried the Mr. Ben for the first time and it was absolutely delicious. My daughters and granddaughter ordered four pizzas to eat at the restaurant and seven to go. We figured it would be best to take some to treat others that couldn't make the trip with us. The Service is always great and the restaurant is clean and inviting. Ben came by our table and talked with us. How many owners actually visit with their patrons when you go somewhere else? Nice atmosphere, great ice in the Coke Machine, but the best part is the amazing pizza! I have the combo 8" for $10.99 and my husband had the gluten free crust build your own pizza for $14.99. Fountain drinks are $3.19 with comp. refills. My husband absolutely loves the gluten-free pizza here! The crust is the best, and he has dined at Mod, Blaze, Pieology, and many others and hands-down, Ben's is the most enjoyable out there! With the build your own option he is able to get exactly what he wants! We highly recommend this pizza place, and if you are not close to Hudson, it is worth the drive! Yummy! read more

We were a couple of weary, hungry travelers that had just braved a snow storm on the highway. We found Ben's was going to be open another 40 min, and we were 15 min away. The lovely person who answered the phone assured me we could still get something... just order it over the phone. We ordered jalapeno bites, a pizza, and a salad. When we walked in, they were just finishing packing them up. We opted to sit there and enjoy it, and enjoy it we did!!! The jalapeno bites are made with very fresh jalapeños. So much better than expected. The salad and pizza were also delicious! Thank you, thank you Ben's staff, for saving us from a potentially horrible evening. If we lived nearby, we would be regulars.
