This is one of the spots you'll want to visit every trip. The pizza is great! I recommended ordering well done - the crispy buttery dough is delicious. The tables are first come, and you order at the counter. They will bring the order out to your table though. The water cups are huge, so you don't have to keep going back up to refill in order to stay hydrated in the altitude. In addition, the staff is fantastic. They are attentive and friendly. They invited our son back to try throwing the dough. So impressive! They also have a nice selection of drinks and house made cookies and brownies. Worth the stop... every time! read more

I love elevation, pizza! They had really good customer service when I mentioned I had accidentally forgotten to order a salad in passing, the lady who helped me said that they happen to be a free extra Caesar salad, but nobody ate and it was just really kind that she went out of her way to give us that free salad. The pizza taste incredible and their service was really quick. Highly recommend the spot! read more

We stopped by here on our way back from Grand Lake to Denver. The staff were excellent here. Amazing, friendly service. You can even watch them hand toss the dough. The restaurant was clean and orderly. I liked the vibe, especially for a mountain town pizza place. The menu had a great selection of pizzas to choose from. They even had an option to create your own. My only thing is with how much this place was talking itself up I was expecting better pizza. Called ahead and asked if they could do a gluten free / dairy free pizza, they said they could. I walked in, paid, then was told me a parmesan crust and so I couldn't eat it. I got a refund (no offer for any discount) and ordered the wings and a salad instead. The pizzas were all VERY salty and soggy. The margarita is just a cheese pizza with slices of tomatoes and chopped basil. The pesto pizza was too salty to eat. We were on vacation from Texas and up in the mountains we didn't have much options. We decided to get some pizza since we were getting some coffee next door. Not only do they offer the classics but mix it up with specialty combinations, which is a nice variation from other run of the mill pizza places. The atmosphere in the facility was excellent very clean, and the staff was very courteous and friendly. The fact that they deliver makes it even better. Now pizzas are pre-cooked and sitting whole under a heat lamp at the counter. If you want a slice with extra ingredients (say, jalapenos added to a pepperoni slice), they'll add them to an existing cooked pizza , and "reheat" the slice. Unfortunately, the "slice" is already cooked, and the toppings - in this case pepperoni - are already toasted, if not, burned. Just an awful result. Such an effing same to see this change. There are so many other pizza options in the town of WP. I would (and will) skip visiting Pizza Pedal'r from here on out.

We got a cheese pizza (14", $21) and the pesto chicken specialty pizza (16", $36.70). Both were very tasty and not overly greasy. The dough is very soft with the appropriate amount of chew--very dangerous as it was so yummy! They didn't skimp on the toppings, too. So, overall, it is a very good pizza. The value proposition here, though, is tough. There's a sliding scale of pizza value, and I think this ends a bit on the expensive side, even when making considerations for location. At the same time, I do think this is the best pizza you can get in the area. You just don't have many, quality options in this area, so the lack of competition might be keeping the prices higher here (not to mention it being a mountain town). I would come back here after trying other food in town.

Even the dollops of ricotta tasted like they were added after the pizza was made, straight from the refrigerator. I am not exaggerating when I say ice cold, despite parts of the pizza being burnt. The edges of the crust were burnt, not in a good wood fired way with flavor, but just hard, overcooked, and inedible. While the toppings were generous, the pizza itself was extremely dry, just like others have mentioned. As I waited, I could see into the kitchen and noticed they were using pre made crusts, basically the kind you would grab at a grocery store when you do not feel like making your own. Charging $47 for that? No thanks. I hate wasting food, but we could not even finish this pizza. It was that bad. That is on me for not checking reviews beforehand. We should have just stuck with our usual spot, Grand Pizza, which happened to be closed for mud season. The difference in quality is night and day. I just want to warn others before they make the same mistake and waste their money like I did. Definitely will not be back.
