Great neighborhood cozy vibe with great food. Staff is friendly and food came out within a reasonable time, even on a busy night. 10/10 pizza after a day skiing. Definitely try the minestrone soup! read more

The barbecue chicken pizza won me over as the best I've ever had. We got half bbq chicken half Mediterranean which was also great if you're looking for a bit lighter pizza. Sodas are bottomless! The ambiance didn't woo me. The place is a little dark, not super clean and leans strongly into dollar bills and Star Wars. If that's your vibe, you'll love it. read more

Lively is the only word I can think of when I think about Hernando's Pizza Pub. I first thought this place was an Italian restaurant with a mexican twist but turns out its actually a real italian spot. The food was pretty good and its one of the top rated restaurants in winter park so that matches. Inside the pub had currency bills stuck all over the walls, gave a cool fun vibe and the restaurant itself was buzzing with people, conversations, and energy, making it feel very lively. The service was fast and nice. we ordered quite a few things, skipped the pizza and went with more classic stuff.. ravioli, lasagna, clam pasta, meatballs, spaghetti bolognese for the mains. The starters were excellent, especially the garlic bread, which came out warm with just the right amount of cheese and garlic. The minestrone soup was hearty and healthy, easily my second favorite dish!! The main dishes were solid too though the red sauce on the spaghetti + meatballs was very bland, no seasoning at all, like they just threw it on last second but the ravioli, lasagna and clam pasta were much better, more balanced and very tasty. To conclude, even though I loved the food, I really wish I could have taken the pizza over all the classic Italian pasta dishes. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. Between the lively atmosphere, attentive service, and mostly great food, it felt like a wonderful place to spend an evening in Winter Park. read more

Great, chill vibe with Colorado style pizza (honey to eat separately with the crust). The service is friendly but it can get really busy during ski season so get there early (or do take out!) Salads are great too and nice beer selection read more

Fantastic pizzas! This place totally delivers quality, fun combos of pizza! We enjoyed the Jerry's ( Pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms) Sonoma (Chicken, artichokes, sun-dried tomatoes), cheese and my favorite was the Pesto! ( Pesto sauce, sausage, roasted red pepper and red onion!) We could tell the pesto was also a favorite because it was the first pizza to be consumed! Thanks for a lovely meal! read more

Winter Park is changing. Hernando's is a bit of 'old' Winter Park; been around since Berthoud Pass Ski Area was still open (which I remember). There''s a reason there's a line out-the-door come the winter weekends. I think their pizza is awesome, I'm a fan. So good, I've been coming for quite some time now & have never tried their pasta. The service has always been fast & friendly, although they do get bogged-down during the dinner rush. My advice is don't be in too much of a hurry or expect to get in fast on the weekends @ 5 PM. Your patience will be rewarded. The inside has a "cool mountain pizza place that's been around since the 60s" vibe. Go and you won't be disappointed. [Well, unless you're a really large group that wants separate checks. ;). ] read more

I have been coming here for decades and always enjoy ordering food and having a beer at the bar while I wait. The bartenders are excellent with a good selection of beer, while the food is always delicious. This last trip, I was hungry from the drive up the mountain and a day on the slopes. Didn't want to make dinner and was by myself, so I ordered a Stomboli with pepperoni and sausage. My condo was up the road, so I walked there. Once again, everything was incredible. read more

Solid pizza. Antipasto salad was more lettuce than I expected. The staff were delightful when my 7 YO asked about the number of dollar bills were on the tables and walls. We would eat here again. read more

The service was above and beyond keep those drinks coming without asking. We tried the antipasto salad to start the creamy Italian was the bomb! We had the cone 1 pizza and the meat was crispy and added a lot to that pizza. When you finish the pizza and just have the crust left you have a bottle of honey to drizzle and it is like desert. Will try this again when in the area! read more

We sat at the bar and had crystal as our bartender. She was the best very personable. We got the Sonoma 10" pizza and then the meatball sub. It was pretty empty but it is mid season so our food came out quick. read more

Everything was great! I had so much fun there. Service, atmosphere, and food were great. Makes me want to come back to the area again. We set at the bar, had some drinks, and ordered food to go. I visited this pizza parlor with friends while out in Colorado for a trip. We went on a Sunday night, and the place was a bit crowded. Some of us waited at the bar, others in the front where we fit. The place was pretty cute though. It was 6 of us, so we decided to get a pizza and 2 orders of a dozen wings. Our waiter suggested that we get the cheese bread as well "because it was popular and really good", so we did. Everything was good, but I can say the cheese bread was a bit overrated. As far as prices, they were a bit much. I just remember the total coming out to be around $115 for a few items. Cool experience though. Thanks for keeping us warm with the fire place behind us! read more

I had been here years ago... it was a bit nostalgic for me to bring my family for dinner... I love the ambiance and the fun dollars all over the place... we added ours and will look forward to coming back and looking forward to finding our dollar art... Service was great! Everything came out just as ordered We had 2 pizzas and my hubby was so impressed with the taste and flavor. We had a basic pepperoni and then a supreme... they were so good. Of course having honey to dip the crust was amazing! We also enjoyed some wings, they were devoured quickly by the hubs and grandkids ... I'm sure we will be back and I'm happy to share hernandos with my family read more

Best pizza in Winter Park! We got a variety of pies a couple days ago and I couldn't stop eating them. I really like how they form their dough so some sauce gets up into the crust (basically created stuffed crust). Compared to the other pizza restaurants we had tried, their customer service was best. I, unfortunately, did not go to pick them up but did call to place the order so I cannot attest to their ambiance, restaurant cleanliness or other attributes. read more

We loved it here!! The $$ on the walls just added to mystic. We were told to arrive early... we did just that, and still had to wait to come in. It gets busy quickly. We were not here during the busy season, but fresh snow created a ski rush from all around. Excellent pizza, fun servers. Would totally come back if i have the chance! read more

Food 3/5. The garlic bread and marinara sauce were delicious. The pizza was slightly underdone, but the twisted, thick crust was very good.

Wow! My friend from CO recommended this place and it has steadily provided for every winter park visit I've been on! The drinks are bomb - although I would recommend avoiding the bramble. The rest are great, and the beer and wine options are more than you need at a pizza place! They have great gluten free options too - gf pizza crust, and two gf beers plus a cider. Our waitress Sarah H was the best waitress in the entire town honestly! This was the best place to come for St Paddy's day and I can't wait to come back next time I'm in town! read more

We had a fantastic dinner last night at Hernando's Pizza Pub. We had a large group, so we ordered a cheese stick appetizer, three pizzas, and an entrée of chicken Alfredo. Everyone in the group was delighted with the food, and the service was exceptional. Alexandra, our server, did an outstanding job on just her second day. She was prompt with our refills, quickly got us Parmesan cheese and crushed red pepper, and was incredibly friendly the entire time while also serving other tables. If there were any complaints, it would be with the size of the tables, but the staff did their best to accommodate such a large group as we had and even then it was absolutely worth it to squeeze in a little tighter for such great pizza! read more

Awesome place love the atmosphere, food is good drink are awesome, good energy, never get tired of decor

We were in town for a couple of days and we wanted to get some pizza. We got a recommendation from a guy selling some nice rings near the amphitheater in town. We drove up to Hernando's and there was already a crowd formed outside waiting for them to open at 5pm...their website says "Life's too short to eat bad pizza", so I took that and the line as good signs. We walked in went to place the order at the bar; there is plenty of seating and would've loved to dine in but half our party was at the house....we order plain cheese, the Column 1(meat lovers) and Bar-B-Que. ran us under $80 for the 3 pies, and they made them from scratch so it took about 15-17 minutes. The Column 1 was inhaled in no time; and the cheese pizza was gone right after; the party ran through half the BBQ pizza and then we called it. They give you honey for the pizza crust and plenty of crushed red pepper flakes and cheese to go. Pies were really really good, even my son inhaled his crust. The have a great patio space that would be perfect to enjoy a slice and a cold . Great pizza, friendly staff, nostalgic decor and great seating space inside and out. I'd highly recommend it!! read more

After a long day of fishing/skiing, we chose Hernando's for dinner. I was impressed that our group of 5 was seated immediately, considering we came during the weekend dinner rush. The staff was SUPER friendly, service was excellent, and the pizza was the best Colorado-style pizza I've had. Dare I say it was better than Beau Jo's! Their crust to topping ratio is much more balanced IMO, and obviously have honey to dip your crust in. I highly recommend the "pesto pizza." It had great flavor, and wasn't too rich. Definitely give them a shot, they may be your new favorite Colorado-pizza restaurant! read more
